1After these things, I saw another angel coming down out of the sky, having great authority. The earth was illuminated with his glory.

2He cried with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and she has become a habitation of demons, a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird!

3For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality, the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from the abundance of her luxury.”
4 Ay maa jinde fo mo kaŋ fun beena ra ka ne: «Ya ay borey, wa fatta a ra, zama araŋ ma si margu nd'a zunubey. Araŋ ma si du baa mo a balaawey ra.
4I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, my people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you don’t receive of her plagues,
5 Zama a zunubey to kala beena gaa, Irikoy mo fongu nd'a goy laaley.
5for her sins have reached to the sky, and God has remembered her iniquities.
6 W'a bana sanda mate kaŋ a no, wa labu-care a se a goyey boŋ. Gaasiya kaŋ ra a diibi, w'a cine hinka diibi a se.
6Return to her just as she returned, and repay her double as she did, and according to her works. In the cup which she mixed, mix to her double.
7 Misa kaŋ a na nga boŋ beerandi nd'a kulu, ka goray kaano te, yaadin mo no i m'a no gurzugay da seew. Zama a goono ga ne nga bina ra: ‹Ay goono ga goro wayboro bonkooni goray! Ay manti goboro mo, ay si di seew mo hal abada.›
7However much she glorified herself, and grew wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning. For she says in her heart, ‘I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will in no way see mourning.’

8Therefore in one day her plagues will come: death, mourning, and famine; and she will be utterly burned with fire; for the Lord God who has judged her is strong.

9The kings of the earth, who committed sexual immorality and lived wantonly with her, will weep and wail over her, when they look at the smoke of her burning,
10 I goono ga kay nangu mooro a gurzuga humburkumay sabbay se ka ne: «Kaari! Kaari! Babila* birni beero, birni gaabikoono. Zama guuru folloŋ ra no ni ciito kaa.»
10standing far away for the fear of her torment, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! For your judgment has come in one hour.’
11 Ndunnya fatawc'izey mo goono ga hẽ ka seew a sabbay se, zama boro kulu si no kaŋ ga ngey fatawci jinayey day koyne.
11The merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise any more;
12 Fatawci jinayey mo neeya: wura, da nzarfu, da tondi darzakoy yaŋ, da luluwey*, da lin* baano, da moni, da swa*, da _taafe|_ ciray, da bundu kulu kaŋ gonda haw kaano, da jinay kulu kaŋ i te da cebeeri hinje, da jinay kulu kaŋ i te da bundu darzante, da guuru-say waney, da guuru-bi waney da tondi kwaaray waney,
12merchandise of gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen, purple, silk, scarlet, all expensive wood, every vessel of ivory, every vessel made of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble;
13 da cirinfi, da yaazi, da dugu, da waddi, da lubban*, da duvan, da ji, da hamni baano, da alkama, da hawyaŋ, da feejiyaŋ, da bariyaŋ, da torkoyaŋ, da bannyayaŋ, danga Adam-izey fundey nooya.
13and cinnamon, incense, perfume, frankincense, wine, olive oil, fine flour, wheat, sheep, horses, chariots, and people’s bodies and souls.
14 Albarka hari kaŋ ni fundo ga bini kulu daray ni se, ngey nda haŋ kaŋ ga ti taalam wane kulu, da nyaaleyaŋ hari kulu -- ikulu daray ni se. Borey si ye ka di ey koyne.
14The fruits which your soul lusted after have been lost to you, and all things that were dainty and sumptuous have perished from you, and you will find them no more at all.
15 Hayey din fatawcikoy, kaŋ yaŋ du arzaka a do, ga kay nangu mooro kwaara gurzuga humburkumay sabbay se. I ga hẽ ka seew
15The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, will stand far away for the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning;
16 ka ne: «Kaari! Kaari! Birni beero kaŋ goono ga bangum da lin baano da moni da taafe ciray, kaŋ goono ga taalam da wura nda tondey kaŋ gonda darza, da lulu mo! Zama guuru folloŋ ra no arzaka boobo wo cine halaci.»
16saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, she who was dressed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls!
17 Hi funkoy kulu, da borey kaŋ yaŋ ga naaru nangu kulu teeko ra, da hi goy-teerey, da teeko goy-teerey kulu kay nangu mooro.
17For in an hour such great riches are made desolate.’ Every shipmaster, and everyone who sails anywhere, and mariners, and as many as gain their living by sea, stood far away,

18and cried out as they looked at the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like the great city?’

19They cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and mourning, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, in which all who had their ships in the sea were made rich by reason of her great wealth!’ For in one hour is she made desolate.
20 Ya nin beena, da hanantey, da diyey, da annabey, wa farhã a boŋ, zama Irikoy n'araŋ alhakkey kaa a gaa.»
20“Rejoice over her, O heaven, you saints, apostles, and prophets; for God has judged your judgment on her.”
21 Kala malayka gaabikooni fo na tondi sambu, sanda fufuyaŋ tondi bambata cine. A n'a jindaw teeko ra ka ne: «Da gaabi beeri yaadin cine no i ga Babila* birni beero jindaw nd'a. I si ye ka di a mo hal abada.
21A mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and cast it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down, and will be found no more at all.
22 Moolo jinde, wala doonko, wala seese, wala hilli jinde, i si ye ka maa r'ey ni ra hal abada. I si ye ka kambe goy-teeri kulu dumi gar ni ra. Fufuyaŋ tondi yooje mo, i si ye ka maa r'a ni ra hal abada.
22The voice of harpists, minstrels, flute players, and trumpeters will be heard no more at all in you. No craftsman, of whatever craft, will be found any more at all in you. The sound of a mill will be heard no more at all in you.
23 Fitilla kaaro mo si ye ka kaari ni ra hal abada. Arhiiji da wayhiiji jinde mo, i si ye ka maa r'ey ni ra hal abada. Zama ni fatawc'izey wo ndunnya boro beerey no, zama ndunnya dumey kulu, ni n'i halli nda ni moodabal teeyaŋo.
23The light of a lamp will shine no more at all in you. The voice of the bridegroom and of the bride will be heard no more at all in you; for your merchants were the princes of the earth; for with your sorcery all the nations were deceived.
24 Babila ra mo, i na annabey da hanantey kuri gar, da borey kaŋ yaŋ i wi ndunnya ra.»
24In her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on the earth.”
