2

1 Ya dumo kaŋ si haawi bay, wa margu, Oho, wa margu,
1Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, you nation that has no shame,
2 Za alwaato kaŋ i waadu mana kaa, Hala zaaro ma bisa sanda du kaŋ haw goono ga faaru cine, Za Rabbi futay korna mana kaŋ araŋ boŋ, Za Rabbi futay zaaro mana kaŋ araŋ boŋ.
2before the appointed time when the day passes as the chaff, before the fierce anger of Yahweh comes on you, before the day of Yahweh’s anger comes on you.
3 Ya araŋ laabo lalabukoyey kulu, wa Rabbi ceeci. Araŋ kaŋ n'a farilley haggoy, Wa adilitaray ceeci, wa lalabu ceeci, Ka di hal i g'araŋ tugu Rabbi futay zaaro ra.
3Seek Yahweh, all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of Yahweh’s anger.
4 Zama i ga Gaza naŋ kurmu, Askelon mo koonu. I ga Asdod gaaray zaari sance, I ga Ekron mo dagu.
4For Gaza will be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation. They will drive out Ashdod at noonday, and Ekron will be rooted up.
5 Kaari araŋ, teeko me gaa gorokoy, Keratancey dumi no! Zama Rabbi sanno ga gaaba nda nin, Ya nin Kanaana, Filistancey laabo. Ay ga ni halaci, baa laab'ize fo si cindi mo.
5Woe to the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! The word of Yahweh is against you, Canaan, the land of the Philistines. I will destroy you, that there will be no inhabitant.
6 Teeko me gaa batamey mo ga ciya kuray do, Da hawjiyey da kaliyaŋ nangoray.
6The sea coast will be pastures, with cottages for shepherds and folds for flocks.
7 Teeko me gaa ga ciya Yahuda kunda kaŋ cindi din baa, Noodin no i ga ngey alman kurey kuru. Askelon windey ga ciya i naŋ-kaniya cin haray, Zama Rabbi i Irikoyo g'i kunfa, A ga ye ka kand'ey mo i ma fun tamtaray.
7The coast will be for the remnant of the house of Judah. They will find pasture. In the houses of Ashkelon, they will lie down in the evening, for Yahweh, their God , will visit them, and restore them.
8 Ay maa Mowab toonya, da Amon izey wowey, Mate kaŋ cine i n'ay borey wow d'a, I na ngey boŋ beerandi mo ka gaaba nda i laabo.»
8I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the insults of the children of Ammon, with which they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.
9 Rabbi Kundeykoyo, Israyla* Irikoyo ne: «Woodin se binde ay ze d'ay fundo, Haciika Mowab ga ciya sanda Saduma* cine. Amon izey mo sanda Gomorata* cine, Subu karjikoyey, da ciiri guusuyaŋ nangorayey, Koonu mo no hal abada. Ay borey kaŋ cindi g'i ku, Ay wane dumo kaŋ cindi no g'i tubu.
9Therefore as I live, says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, surely Moab will be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, a possession of nettles, and salt pits, and a perpetual desolation. The remnant of my people will plunder them, and the survivors of my nation will inherit them.
10 Woodin ga kaŋ i boŋ i boŋbeera sabbay se, Za kaŋ i na Rabbi Kundeykoyo jama jance, I na ngey boŋ beerandi mo ka gaaba nd'ey.
10This they will have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of Yahweh of Armies.
11 Rabbi ga ciya i se humburandiko, Zama a ga ndunnya toorey kulu halaci. Dumi cindey mo ga sududu Rabbi se, Boro fo kulu nga nango ra, Hala nda teeku me gaa laabey dumi cindey kulu.
11Yahweh will be awesome to them, for he will famish all the gods of the land. Men will worship him, everyone from his place, even all the shores of the nations.
12 Araŋ mo, Etiyopi borey, Araŋ bumbey i g'araŋ wi d'ay takuba.
12You Cushites also, you will be killed by my sword.
13 A ga nga kambe salle azawa kamba gaa ka Assiriya halaci. A ga Ninawiya ciya koonu, ikogo sanda saaji cine.
13He will stretch out his hand against the north, destroy Assyria, and will make Nineveh a desolation, as dry as the wilderness.
14 Haw kuruyaŋ ga kani a bindo ra da alman dumi kulu. Kuku-bi da kuku-kwaaray ga ngey goray te a faadey ganjey boŋey gaa, I jindey ga hẽ finetarey gaa mo. I ga gar kaŋ faada cinarey fun ka kaŋ a windi meyey gaa, Zama sedre* bundey bangay.
14Herds will lie down in the midst of her, all the animals of the nations. Both the pelican and the porcupine will lodge in its capitals. Their calls will echo through the windows. Desolation will be in the thresholds, for he has laid bare the cedar beams.
15 Birni nooya kaŋ gonda bine kaani doŋ, Kaŋ gonda laakal kanay goray, nga kaŋ ne nga bina ra: ‹Ay no! Boro fo kulu si no kala ay hinne!› Guna mate kaŋ a ciya kurmu, Naŋ kaŋ ganji hamey ga kani. Bisako kulu ga cuusu ka ngey kambey kobi.
15This is the joyous city that lived carelessly, that said in her heart, “I am, and there is none besides me.” How she has become a desolation, a place for animals to lie down in! Everyone who passes by her will hiss, and shake their fists.
