1HERREN är nu konung! Därför fröjde sig jorden; havsländerna glädje sig, så många som de äro.
1Yahweh reigns! Let the earth rejoice! Let the multitude of islands be glad!
2Moln och töcken omgiva honom, rättfärdighet och rätt äro hans trons fäste.
2Clouds and darkness are around him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
3Eld går framför honom och förbränner hans ovänner runt omkring.
3A fire goes before him, and burns up his adversaries on every side.
4Hans ljungeldar lysa upp jordens krets; jorden ser det och bävar.
4His lightning lights up the world. The earth sees, and trembles.
5Bergen smälta såsom vax för HERREN, för hela jordens Herre.
5The mountains melt like wax at the presence of Yahweh, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6Himlarna förkunna hans rättfärdighet, och alla folk se hans ära.
6The heavens declare his righteousness. All the peoples have seen his glory.
7Alla de skola komma på skam, som dyrka beläten, de som berömma sig av avgudar. Alla gudar skola tillbedja honom.
7Let all them be shamed who serve engraved images, who boast in their idols. Worship him, all you gods!
8Sion hör det och gläder sig, och Juda döttrar fröjda sig för dina domars skull, HERRE.
8Zion heard and was glad. The daughters of Judah rejoiced, because of your judgments, Yahweh.
9Ty du, HERRE, är den Högste över hela jorden; du är högt upphöjd över alla gudar.
9For you, Yahweh, are most high above all the earth. You are exalted far above all gods.
10I som älsken HERREN, haten det onda. Han bevarar sina frommas själar, ur de ogudaktigas hand räddar han dem.
10You who love Yahweh, hate evil. He preserves the souls of his saints. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
11Ljus är utsått för den rättfärdige och glädje för de rättsinniga.
11Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
12Glädjens, I rättfärdige, i HERREN, och prisen hans heliga namn.
12Be glad in Yahweh, you righteous people! Give thanks to his holy Name.
