¹கர்த்தரை நான் எக்காலத்திலும் ஸ்தோத்திரிப்பேன்; அவர் துதி எப்போதும் என் வாயிலிருக்கும்.

¹I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.

²கர்த்தருக்குள் என் ஆத்துமா மேன்மைபாராட்டும்; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்கள் அதைக்கேட்டு மகிழுவார்கள்.

²My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.

³என்னோடே கூடக் கர்த்தரை மகிமைப்படுத்துங்கள்; நாம் ஒருமித்து அவர் நாமத்தை உயர்த்துவோமாக.

³Oh magnify Yahweh with me. Let us exalt his name together.

⁴நான் கர்த்தரைத் தேடினேன், அவர் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, என்னுடைய எல்லாப் பயத்துக்கும் என்னை நீங்கலாக்கிவிட்டார்.

⁴I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.

⁵அவர்கள் அவரை நோக்கிப்பார்த்துப் பிரகாசமடைந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் முகங்கள் வெட்கப்படவில்லை.

⁵They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.

⁶இந்த ஏழை கூப்பிட்டான், கர்த்தர் கேட்டு, அவனை அவன் இடுக்கண்களுக்கெல்லாம் நீங்கலாக்கி இரட்சித்தார்.

⁶This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

⁷கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களைச் சூழப் பாளயமிறங்கி அவர்களை விடுவிக்கிறார்.

⁷The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.

⁸கர்த்தர் நல்லவர் என்பதை ருசித்துப்பாருங்கள்; அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்.

⁸Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

⁹கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களே, அவருக்குப் பயந்திருங்கள்; அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்குக் குறைவில்லை.

⁹Oh fear Yahweh, you his saints, for there is no lack with those who fear him.

¹⁰சிங்கக்குட்டிகள் தாழ்ச்சியடைந்து பட்டினியாயிருக்கும்; கர்த்தரைத் தேடுகிறவர்களுக்கோ ஒரு நன்மையுங்குறைவுபடாது.

¹⁰The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing.

¹¹பிள்ளைகளே, வந்து எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்; கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலை உங்களுக்குப் போதிப்பேன்.

¹¹Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.

¹²நன்மையைக் காணும்படி, ஜீவனை விரும்பி, நீடித்த நாட்களை அபேட்சிக்கிற மனுஷன் யார்?

¹²Who is someone who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?

¹³உன் நாவைப் பொல்லாப்புக்கும், உன் உதடுகளைக் கபட்டுவசனிப்புக்கும் விலக்கிக் காத்துக்கொள்.

¹³Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.

¹⁴தீமையை விட்டு விலகி, நன்மை செய்; சமாதானத்தைத் தேடி, அதைத் தொடர்ந்துகொள்.

¹⁴Depart from evil, and do good. seek peace, and pursue it.

¹⁵கர்த்தருடைய கண்கள் நீதிமான்கள்மேல் நோக்கமாயிருக்கிறது; அவருடைய செவிகள் அவர்கள் கூப்பிடுதலுக்குத் திறந்திருக்கிறது.

¹⁵Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.

¹⁶தீமைசெய்கிறவர்களுடைய பேரைப் பூமியில் இராமல் அற்றுப்போகப்பண்ண, கர்த்தருடைய முகம் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாயிருக்கிறது.

¹⁶Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth.

¹⁷நீதிமான்கள் கூப்பிடும்போது கர்த்தர் கேட்டு, அவர்களை அவர்களுடைய எல்லா உபத்திரவங்களுக்கும் நீங்கலாக்கிவிடுகிறார்.

¹⁷The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.

¹⁸நொறுங்குண்ட இருதயமுள்ளவர்களுக்குக் கர்த்தர் சமீபமாயிருந்து, நருங்குண்ட ஆவியுள்ளவர்களை இரட்சிக்கிறார்.

¹⁸Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

¹⁹நீதிமானுக்கு வரும் துன்பங்கள் அநேகமாயிருக்கும், கர்த்தர் அவைகளெல்லாவற்றிலும் நின்று அவனை விடுவிப்பார்.

¹⁹Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.

²⁰அவனுடைய எலும்புகளையெல்லாம் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்; அவைகளில் ஒன்றும் முறிக்கப்படுவதில்லை.

²⁰He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.

²¹தீமை துன்மார்க்கனைக் கொல்லும்; நீதிமானைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் குற்றவாளிகளாவார்கள்.

²¹Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.

²²கர்த்தர் தமது ஊழியக்காரரின் ஆத்துமாவை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளுகிறார்; அவரை நம்புகிற ஒருவன்மேலும் குற்றஞ்சுமராது.

²²Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.
