1It happened in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month Ziv, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of Yahweh.
2พระนิเวศซึ่งกษัตริย์ซาโลมอนทรงสร้างสำหรับพระเยโฮวาห์นั้น ยาวหกสิบศอก กว้างยี่สิบศอกและสูงสามสิบศอก
2The house which king Solomon built for Yahweh, its length was sixty cubits, and its breadth twenty, and its height thirty cubits.
3มุขหน้าห้องโถงของพระนิเวศนั้นยาวยี่สิบศอก เท่ากับด้านกว้างของพระนิเวศ และลึกเข้าไปหน้าพระนิเวศสิบศอก
3The porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was its length, according to the breadth of the house. Ten cubits was its breadth before the house.
4และพระองค์ทรงสร้างหน้าต่างสำหรับพระนิเวศมีขอบสอบออกข้างนอก
4For the house he made windows of fixed lattice work.
5พระองค์ทรงสร้างห้องติดผนังพระนิเวศอยู่รอบผนังของพระนิเวศ ทั้งที่ห้องโถงและที่ห้องหลัง และพระองค์ทรงสร้างห้องระเบียงโดยรอบ
5Against the wall of the house he built stories all around, against the walls of the house all around, both of the temple and of the oracle; and he made side rooms all around.
6ห้องชั้นล่างที่สุดกว้างห้าศอก ชั้นกลางกว้างหกศอก และชั้นที่สามกว้างเจ็ดศอก เพราะรอบด้านนอกของพระนิเวศพระองค์ทรงสร้างหยักบ่าไว้ที่ผนัง เพื่อว่าไม้รอดจะไม่ได้ทะลวงเข้าไปในผนังพระนิเวศ
6The nethermost story was five cubits broad, and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad; for on the outside he made offsets in the wall of the house all around, that the beams should not have hold in the walls of the house.
7เมื่อกำลังสร้าง พระนิเวศนั้นก็สร้างด้วยศิลา ซึ่งเตรียมมาจากบ่อศิลา เพราะฉะนั้นจึงไม่ได้ยินเสียงค้อนหรือขวานหรือเครื่องมือเหล็กใดๆในพระนิเวศ ขณะเมื่อทำการก่อสร้าง
7The house, when it was in building, was built of stone prepared at the quarry; and there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.
8ทางเข้าห้องชั้นล่างอยู่ทางด้านขวาของตัวพระนิเวศ และคนขึ้นไปยังห้องชั้นกลางทางบันไดเวียน และขึ้นจากห้องชั้นกลางไปห้องชั้นที่สาม
8The door for the middle side rooms was in the right side of the house: and they went up by winding stairs into the middle story, and out of the middle into the third.
9พระองค์ทรงสร้างพระนิเวศดังนี้และทรงให้สำเร็จ และพระองค์ทรงสร้างเพดานของพระนิเวศ มีไม้คร่าวและกระดานเป็นไม้สนสีดาร์
9So he built the house, and finished it; and he covered the house with beams and planks of cedar.
10พระองค์ทรงสร้างห้องรอบพระนิเวศสูงห้าศอก และติดกับตัวพระนิเวศด้วยกระดานไม้สนสีดาร์
10He built the stories against all the house, each five cubits high: and they rested on the house with timber of cedar.
11และพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มาถึงซาโลมอนว่า
11The word of Yahweh came to Solomon, saying,
12"เกี่ยวด้วยพระนิเวศนี้ซึ่งเจ้าสร้างอยู่ ถ้าเจ้าดำเนินตามกฎเกณฑ์ของเรา และประพฤติตามคำตัดสินของเรา และรักษาบัญญัติของเราทั้งสิ้นและดำเนินตาม เราก็จะกระทำถ้อยคำของเรากับเจ้าซึ่งเราพูดกับดาวิดบิดาของเจ้านั้นให้สำเร็จ
12“Concerning this house which you are building, if you will walk in my statutes, and execute my ordinances, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I establish my word with you, which I spoke to David your father.
13และเราจะอยู่ในหมู่ชนอิสราเอล และจะไม่ทอดทิ้งอิสราเอลชนชาติของเราเลย"
13I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.”
14ซาโลมอนได้ทรงสร้างพระนิเวศและทรงให้สำเร็จ
14So Solomon built the house, and finished it.
15พระองค์ทรงกรุผนังข้างในพระนิเวศด้วยกระดานไม้สนสีดาร์ ตั้งแต่พื้นพระนิเวศจนถึงไม้เพดาน พระองค์ทรงกรุข้างในด้วยไม้ และพระองค์ทรงปูปิดพื้นพระนิเวศด้วยไม้สนสามใบ
15He built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar: from the floor of the house to the walls of the ceiling, he covered them on the inside with wood; and he covered the floor of the house with boards of fir.
16พระองค์ทรงสร้างอีกข้างหนึ่งของพระนิเวศยี่สิบศอกด้วยกระดานไม้สนสีดาร์จากพื้นถึงไม้เพดาน และพระองค์ทรงสร้างห้องนี้ภายใน ให้เป็นห้องหลัง คือที่บริสุทธิ์ที่สุด
16He built twenty cubits on the hinder part of the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the ceiling: he built them for it within, for an oracle, even for the most holy place.
17ตัวพระนิเวศคือห้องโถงซึ่งอยู่ส่วนหน้านั้นยาวสี่สิบศอก
17In front of the temple sanctuary was forty cubits.
18มีไม้สนสีดาร์ที่อยู่ข้างในพระนิเวศแกะเป็นรูปดอกตูมและดอกไม้บาน เป็นไม้สนสีดาร์ทั้งสิ้น ในที่นั่นแลไม่เห็นหินเลย
18There was cedar on the house within, carved with buds and open flowers: all was cedar; there was no stone seen.
19พระองค์ทรงจัดเตรียมห้องหลังไว้ข้างในพระนิเวศ เพื่อจะวางหีบพันธสัญญาของพระเยโฮวาห์ไว้ที่นั่น
19He prepared an oracle in the midst of the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of Yahweh.
20ส่วนข้างในห้องหลังนั้นยาวยี่สิบศอก กว้างยี่สิบศอก และสูงยี่สิบศอก และพระองค์ทรงบุด้วยทองคำบริสุทธิ์ พระองค์ทรงกรุแท่นบูชาด้วยไม้สนสีดาร์ด้วย
20Within the oracle was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in its height; and he overlaid it with pure gold: and he covered the altar with cedar.
21และซาโลมอนทรงบุข้างในพระนิเวศด้วยทองคำบริสุทธิ์ และพระองค์ทรงลากโซ่ทองคำข้ามข้างหน้าห้องหลัง และบุด้วยทองคำ
21So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he drew chains of gold across before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.
22และพระองค์ทรงบุพระนิเวศทั้งหลังด้วยทองคำ จนพระนิเวศนั้นสำเร็จทั้งสิ้น แท่นบูชาทั้งแท่นที่เป็นของห้องหลัง พระองค์ก็ทรงบุด้วยทองคำ
22The whole house he overlaid with gold, until all the house was finished: also the whole altar that belonged to the oracle he overlaid with gold.
23ในห้องหลังพระองค์ทรงสร้างเครูบสองรูปด้วยไม้มะกอกเทศ สูงรูปละสิบศอก
23In the oracle he made two cherubim of olive wood, each ten cubits high.
24ปีกข้างหนึ่งของเครูบยาวห้าศอก ปีกอีกข้างหนึ่งของเครูบยาวห้าศอก จากปลายปีกข้างหนึ่งไปถึงปลายปีกอีกข้างหนึ่งยาวสิบศอก
24Five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing to the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits.
25เครูบอีกรูปหนึ่งก็วัดได้สิบศอกด้วย เครูบทั้งสองมีขนาดเท่ากัน และรูปอย่างเดียวกัน
25The other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubim were of one measure and one form.
26ความสูงของเครูบรูปหนึ่งเป็นสิบศอก และเครูบอีกรูปหนึ่งก็เหมือนกัน
26The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it of the other cherub.
27พระองค์ทรงวางเครูบไว้ในส่วนชั้นในที่สุดของพระนิเวศ ปีกของเครูบนั้นกางออกเพื่อให้ปีกหนึ่งจดผนังข้างหนึ่ง และปีกของเครูบอีกรูปหนึ่งจดผนังอีกข้างหนึ่ง ส่วนปีกข้างอื่นก็มาจดกันตรงกลางพระนิเวศ
27He set the cherubim within the inner house; and the wings of the cherubim were stretched forth, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.
28และพระองค์ทรงบุเครูบด้วยทองคำ
28He overlaid the cherubim with gold.
29พระองค์ทรงสลักผนังของพระนิเวศนั้นโดยรอบ ด้วยรูปแกะสลักเป็นรูปเครูบ และต้นอินทผลัมและดอกไม้บานทั้งข้างในและข้างนอก
29He carved all the walls of the house around with carved figures of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers, inside and outside.
30พื้นของพระนิเวศนั้น พระองค์ทรงบุด้วยทองคำทั้งข้างในและข้างนอก
30The floor of the house he overlaid with gold, inside and outside.
31สำหรับทางเข้าสู่ห้องหลัง พระองค์ทรงสร้างประตูด้วยไม้มะกอกเทศ กรอบประตูชิ้นบนและวงกบประตูรวมเข้าเป็นหนึ่งในห้าของขนาดของผนัง
31For the entrance of the oracle he made doors of olive wood: the lintel and door posts were a fifth part of the wall.
32พระองค์ทรงสร้างบานประตูทั้งสองด้วยไม้มะกอกเทศ แกะรูปเครูบ ต้นอินทผลัม และดอกไม้บาน ทรงบุด้วยทองคำ พระองค์ทรงแผ่ทองคำหุ้มเครูบและห้อมต้นอินทผลัม
32So he made two doors of olive wood; and he carved on them carvings of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold; and he spread the gold on the cherubim, and on the palm trees.
33พระองค์ทรงสร้างวงกบประตูทางเข้าห้องโถงด้วยไม้มะกอกเทศ เป็นหนึ่งในสี่ของขนาดของผนัง
33So also made he for the entrance of the temple door posts of olive wood, out of a fourth part of the wall;
34และประตูสองบานด้วยไม้สนสามใบ บานสองบานของบานประตูหนึ่งหมุนได้ และบานอีกสองบานของบานประตูหนึ่งก็หมุนได้
34and two doors of fir wood: the two leaves of the one door were folding, and the two leaves of the other door were folding.
35พระองค์ทรงแกะเครูบ ต้นอินทผลัมและดอกไม้บานบนบานประตูนั้น และพระองค์ทรงบุด้วยทองคำสม่ำเสมอกันบนงานแกะสลักนั้น
35He carved cherubim and palm trees and open flowers; and he overlaid them with gold fitted on the engraved work.
36พระองค์ทรงสร้างลานภายในด้วยกำแพงหินสกัดสามชั้น และด้วยไม้สนสีดาร์ชั้นหนึ่ง
36He built the inner court with three courses of cut stone, and a course of cedar beams.
37ในปีที่สี่ก็ได้วางรากพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์ ในเดือนศิฟ
37In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of Yahweh laid, in the month Ziv.
38และในปีที่สิบเอ็ดในเดือนบูล ซึ่งเป็นเดือนที่แปด พระนิเวศนั้นก็สำเร็จหมดทุกๆส่วน และสำเร็จตามรายการทั้งสิ้น พระองค์ทรงสร้างพระนิเวศนั้นเจ็ดปี
38In the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all its parts, and according to all its fashion. So was he seven years in building it.
