1แล้วซาโลมอนทรงเริ่มสร้างพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์ที่กรุงเยรูซาเล็มบนภูเขาโมริยาห์ ที่ซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงปรากฏแก่ดาวิดราชบิดาของพระองค์ ตรงที่ซึ่งดาวิดทรงกำหนดไว้ที่ลานนวดข้าวของโอรนันคนเยบุส
1Then Solomon began to build the house of Yahweh at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where Yahweh appeared to David his father, which he prepared in the place that David had appointed, in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2พระองค์ทรงเริ่มสร้างในวันที่สองเดือนที่สองของปีที่สี่แห่งรัชกาลของพระองค์
2He began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3ต่อไปนี้เป็นรากฐานซึ่งซาโลมอนทรงวางเพื่อสร้างพระนิเวศของพระเจ้า ส่วนยาวตามศอกโบราณ หกสิบศอก และกว้างยี่สิบศอก
3Now these are the foundations which Solomon laid for the building of God’s house. The length by cubits after the first measure was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4มุขด้านหน้าของพระนิเวศนั้นยาวยี่สิบศอก เท่ากับด้านกว้างของพระนิเวศ และส่วนสูงหนึ่งร้อยยี่สิบ พระองค์ทรงบุด้านในด้วยทองคำบริสุทธิ์
4The porch that was in front, its length, according to the breadth of the house, was twenty cubits, and the height one hundred twenty; and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
5ห้องโถงพระองค์ทรงบุด้วยไม้สนสามใบ และบุด้วยทองคำเนื้อดี และทำต้นอินทผลัมและลูกโซ่ประดับไว้บนนั้น
5The greater house he made a ceiling with fir wood, which he overlaid with fine gold, and ornamented it with palm trees and chains.
6พระองค์ทรงแต่งพระนิเวศด้วยฝังเพชรพลอยต่างๆเพื่อความสวยงาม ทองคำนั้นเป็นทองคำเมืองพารวายิม
6He garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
7พระองค์จึงทรงบุพระนิเวศนั้นด้วยทองคำคือที่คาน ธรณีประตู ผนัง ประตู กับสลักรูปเครูบไว้บนผนัง
7He overlaid also the house, the beams, the thresholds, and its walls, and its doors, with gold; and engraved cherubim on the walls.
8และพระองค์ทรงสร้างที่บริสุทธิ์ที่สุด คือความยาวของที่นั้นตามความกว้างของพระนิเวศ เป็นยี่สิบศอก และกว้างยี่สิบศอก พระองค์ทรงบุด้วยทองคำเนื้อดีหนักหกร้อยตะลันต์
8He made the most holy house: its length, according to the breadth of the house, was twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits; and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
9น้ำหนักของตะปูห้าสิบเชเขลทองคำ และพระองค์ทรงบุห้องชั้นบนด้วยทองคำ
9The weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. He overlaid the upper rooms with gold.
10ในที่บริสุทธิ์ที่สุดนั้น พระองค์ทรงสร้างเครูบไว้สองรูปด้วยไม้บุทองคำ
10In the most holy house he made two cherubim of image work; and they overlaid them with gold.
11ปีกของเครูบทั้งสองนั้นกางออกยี่สิบศอก ปีกข้างหนึ่งของเครูบรูปหนึ่งยาวห้าศอกจดผนังพระนิเวศ และอีกปีกหนึ่งยาวห้าศอกจดปีกของเครูบอีกรูปหนึ่ง
11The wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits long: the wing of the one was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12และของเครูบอีกรูปหนึ่งปีกข้างหนึ่งห้าศอกจดผนังพระนิเวศ และอีกปีกหนึ่งห้าศอกด้วยติดต่อกับปีกของเครูบอีกรูปหนึ่ง
12The wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was five cubits, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
13ปีกของเครูบเหล่านี้กางออกยี่สิบศอก เครูบทั้งสองนั้นยืนหันหน้าไปทางห้องโถง
13The wings of these cherubim spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were toward the house.
14และพระองค์ทรงสร้างม่าน ด้วยผ้าสีฟ้า สีม่วง และสีแดงเข้ม และผ้าป่านเนื้อละเอียด และปักรูปเครูบไว้บนนั้น
14He made the veil of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and ornamented it with cherubim.
15ข้างหน้าพระนิเวศพระองค์ทรงสร้างเสาสองต้น สูงสามสิบห้าศอก มีบัวคว่ำสูงห้าศอกอยู่บนยอดเสาแต่ละต้น
15Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty-five cubits high, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
16พระองค์ทรงทำลูกโซ่เหมือนในห้องหลังติดไว้ที่ยอดเสา และพระองค์ทรงทำทับทิมหนึ่งร้อยลูกแขวนไว้ที่โซ่
16He made chains in the oracle, and put them on the tops of the pillars; and he made one hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
17พระองค์ทรงตั้งเสาไว้หน้าพระวิหาร ข้างขวาต้นหนึ่ง อีกต้นหนึ่งข้างซ้าย ต้นข้างขวานั้นพระองค์ทรงขนานนามว่า ยาคีน และต้นข้างซ้ายว่า โบอาส
17He set up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
