¹"ชายคนใดได้รับบาดเจ็บที่ลูกอัณฑะหรืออวัยวะสืบพันธุ์ถูกตัดออก อย่าให้เข้าในที่ชุมนุมของพระเยโฮวาห์

¹He who is wounded in the stones, or has his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the assembly of Yahweh.

²ห้ามไม่ให้คนที่ไม่มีพ่อเข้าในชุมนุมชนของพระเยโฮวาห์ อย่าให้ลูกหลานของเขาเข้าในชุมนุมชนของพระเยโฮวาห์จนถึงสิบชั่วอายุคน

²A bastard shall not enter into the assembly of Yahweh; even to the tenth generation shall none of his enter into the assembly of Yahweh.

³อย่าให้คนอัมโมนหรือคนโมอับเข้าในชุมนุมชนของพระเยโฮวาห์ บุคคลที่เป็นลูกหลานของคนทั้งสองตระกูลนี้ห้ามไม่ให้เข้าในชุมนุมชนของพระเยโฮวาห์เลยจนถึงสิบชั่วอายุคน

³An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into the assembly of Yahweh; even to the tenth generation shall none belonging to them enter into the assembly of Yahweh forever:

⁴เพราะว่าคนเหล่านี้มิได้มาต้อนรับท่านทั้งหลายตามทางด้วยขนมปังและน้ำเมื่อท่านออกจากอียิปต์ และเพราะว่าเขาได้จ้างบาลาอัมบุตรชายเบโอร์มาจากเปโธร์แห่งเมโสโปเตเมียให้สาปแช่งท่านทั้งหลาย

⁴because they didn’t meet you with bread and with water in the way, when you came forth out of Egypt, and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse you.

⁵อย่างไรก็ดีพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านมิได้ฟังบาลาอัม แต่พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านทรงเปลี่ยนคำสาปแช่งให้เป็นคำอวยพรท่าน เพราะว่าพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านทรงรักท่าน

⁵Nevertheless Yahweh your God wouldn’t listen to Balaam; but Yahweh your God turned the curse into a blessing to you, because Yahweh your God loved you.

⁶ท่านอย่าเสริมสันติภาพหรือความเจริญให้เขาตลอดชีวิตของท่านทั้งหลายเป็นนิตย์

⁶You shall not seek their peace nor their prosperity all your days forever.

⁷ท่านทั้งหลายอย่าเกลียดคนเอโดม เพราะเขาเป็นพี่น้องของท่าน ท่านอย่าเกลียดคนอียิปต์ เพราะท่านทั้งหลายเป็นคนต่างด้าวอยู่ในแผ่นดินของเขานั้น

⁷You shall not abhor an Edomite; for he is your brother: you shall not abhor an Egyptian, because you lived as a foreigner in his land.

⁸เด็กๆชั่วอายุที่สามซึ่งเกิดกับคนเหล่านี้จะเข้าในชุมนุมชนของพระเยโฮวาห์ก็ได้

⁸The children of the third generation who are born to them shall enter into the assembly of Yahweh.

⁹เมื่อท่านออกไปสู้รบกับศัตรูของท่าน ท่านจงระวังตัวให้พ้นจากสิ่งชั่วทุกอย่าง

⁹When you go forth in camp against your enemies, then you shall keep yourselves from every evil thing.

¹⁰ถ้าคนใดในพวกท่านไม่สะอาดด้วยเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นในเวลากลางคืน เขาต้องไปอยู่นอกค่าย อย่าให้เขาเข้ามาในค่าย

¹⁰If there is among you any man who is not clean by reason of that which happens him by night, then shall he go outside of the camp. He shall not come within the camp:

¹¹แต่เมื่อถึงเวลาเย็นแล้วให้เขาอาบน้ำชำระตัว และเมื่อดวงอาทิตย์ตกแล้วเขาจะกลับเข้ามาในค่ายก็ได้

¹¹but it shall be, when evening comes on, he shall bathe himself in water; and when the sun is down, he shall come within the camp.

¹²ท่านทั้งหลายต้องมีที่ภายนอกค่าย เพื่อจะออกไปถึงได้

¹²You shall have a place also outside of the camp, where you shall go forth abroad:

¹³และท่านต้องมีไม้เสี้ยมรวมไว้กับเครื่องอาวุธ และเมื่อท่านนั่งลงในที่ข้างนอกนั้น ท่านจงใช้ไม้ขุดหลุมไว้ และหันไปกลบสิ่งปฏิกูลของท่านเสีย

¹³and you shall have a paddle among your weapons; and it shall be, when you sit down abroad, you shall dig therewith, and shall turn back and cover that which comes from you:

¹⁴เพราะว่าพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านทรงดำเนินอยู่ท่ามกลางค่ายของท่าน เพื่อจะช่วยท่านให้พ้น และมอบศัตรูของท่านไว้ต่อหน้าท่าน เพราะฉะนั้นค่ายของท่านต้องบริสุทธิ์ เพื่อพระองค์จะไม่ทอดพระเนตรสิ่งโสโครกในหมู่พวกท่าน และเสด็จไปเสียจากท่าน

¹⁴for Yahweh your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you, and to give up your enemies before you; therefore your camp shall be holy, that he may not see an unclean thing in you, and turn away from you.

¹⁵ถ้ามีทาสหนีจากนายของเขามาอยู่กับท่าน อย่าจับทาสนั้นไปส่งนายของเขา

¹⁵You shall not deliver to his master a servant who is escaped from his master to you:

¹⁶จงให้ทาสนั้นอยู่กับท่าน อยู่ในหมู่พวกท่าน ให้อยู่ในที่ซึ่งเขาจะเลือกในประตูเมืองหนึ่งประตูเมืองใดตามความพอใจของเขา อย่ากดขี่ข่มเหงเขาเลย

¹⁶he shall dwell with you, in the midst of you, in the place which he shall choose within one of your gates, where it pleases him best: you shall not oppress him.

¹⁷ผู้หญิงชาวอิสราเอลนั้น อย่าให้คนหนึ่งคนใดเป็นหญิงโสเภณี อย่าให้บุตรชายอิสราเอลคนหนึ่งคนใดเป็นกะเทย

¹⁷There shall be no prostitute of the daughters of Israel, neither shall there be a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

¹⁸ท่านอย่านำค่าจ้างของหญิงโสเภณี หรือค่าซื้อขายสุนัข มาในพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านเพื่อกระทำตามคำสัตย์ปฏิญาณใดๆ เพราะของทั้งสองอย่างนี้เป็นสิ่งที่น่าสะอิดสะเอียนต่อพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน

¹⁸You shall not bring the hire of a prostitute, or the wages of a dog, into the house of Yahweh your God for any vow: for even both these are an abomination to Yahweh your God.

¹⁹ท่านอย่าให้พี่น้องของท่านยืมเงินเพื่อเอาดอกเบี้ย ไม่ว่าดอกเบี้ยเงินกู้ หรือดอกเบี้ยเครื่องบริโภค หรือดอกเบี้ยของสิ่งใดๆที่ให้ยืมเพื่อเอาดอกเบี้ย

¹⁹You shall not lend on interest to your brother; interest of money, interest of food, interest of anything that is lent on interest:

²⁰ท่านจะให้คนต่างด้าวยืมเพื่อเอาดอกเบี้ยก็ได้ แต่สำหรับพี่น้องของท่าน ท่านอย่าให้ยืมเพื่อเอาดอกเบี้ย เพื่อพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านจะทรงอำนวยพระพรแก่ท่านในทุกสิ่งซึ่งมือท่านกระทำในแผ่นดิน ซึ่งท่านกำลังจะเข้าไปยึดครองนั้น

²⁰to a foreigner you may lend on interest; but to your brother you shall not lend on interest, that Yahweh your God may bless you in all that you put your hand to, in the land where you go in to possess it.

²¹เมื่อท่านปฏิญาณต่อพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน ท่านอย่าละเลยไม่ทำตามคำปฏิญาณนั้น เพราะว่าพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านจะทรงเรียกเอาจากท่านเป็นแน่ และท่านจะมีบาป

²¹When you shall vow a vow to Yahweh your God, you shall not be slack to pay it: for Yahweh your God will surely require it of you; and it would be sin in you.

²²ถ้าท่านงดไม่ปฏิญาณ ท่านก็จะไม่มีบาป

²²But if you shall forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in you.

²³ท่านจงระวังที่จะกระทำตามถ้อยคำที่ผ่านออกมาจากริมฝีปากของท่าน ตามที่ท่านได้สมัครใจปฏิญาณต่อพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน ซึ่งท่านสัญญาด้วยปากของท่านแล้ว

²³That which is gone out of your lips you shall observe and do; according as you have vowed to Yahweh your God, a freewill offering, which you have promised with your mouth.

²⁴เมื่อท่านเข้าไปในสวนองุ่นแห่งเพื่อนบ้านของท่าน ท่านจะรับประทานผลองุ่นให้อิ่มหนำตามที่ท่านปรารถนาก็ได้ แต่อย่าใส่ในภาชนะของท่านไป

²⁴When you come into your neighbor’s vineyard, then you may eat of grapes your fill at your own pleasure; but you shall not put any in your vessel.

²⁵เมื่อท่านเข้าไปในนาของเพื่อนบ้านของท่าน ท่านจะเอามือเด็ดรวงข้าวมาก็ได้ แต่ท่านจะใช้เคียวเกี่ยวข้าวของเพื่อนบ้านของท่านไม่ได้"

²⁵When you come into your neighbor’s standing grain, then you may pluck the ears with your hand; but you shall not move a sickle to your neighbor’s standing grain.
