¹"ต่อมาถ้าท่านทั้งหลายเชื่อฟังพระสุรเสียงของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน และระวังที่จะกระทำตามบรรดาพระบัญญัติของพระองค์ซึ่งข้าพเจ้าบัญชาท่านในวันนี้ พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านจะทรงตั้งท่านไว้ให้สูงกว่าบรรดาประชาชาติทั้งหลายทั่วโลก

¹It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to the voice of Yahweh your God, to observe to do all his commandments which I command you this day, that Yahweh your God will set you on high above all the nations of the earth:

²บรรดาพระพรเหล่านี้จะตามมาทันท่าน ถ้าท่านทั้งหลายเชื่อฟังพระสุรเสียงของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน

²and all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you, if you shall listen to the voice of Yahweh your God.

³ท่านทั้งหลายจะรับพระพรในเมือง ท่านทั้งหลายจะรับพระพรในทุ่งนา

³You shall be blessed in the city, and you shall be blessed in the field.

⁴ผลแห่งตัวของท่าน ผลแห่งพื้นดินของท่านและผลแห่งสัตว์ของท่านจะรับพระพร คือฝูงวัวของท่านที่เพิ่มขึ้น ฝูงแกะของท่านที่เพิ่มลูกขึ้น

⁴You shall be blessed in the fruit of your body, the fruit of your ground, the fruit of your animals, the increase of your livestock, and the young of your flock.

⁵กระจาดของท่าน และรางนวดแป้งของท่านจะรับพระพร

⁵Your basket and your kneading trough shall be blessed.

⁶ท่านจะรับพระพรเมื่อท่านเข้ามา และท่านจะรับพระพรเมื่อท่านออกไป

⁶You shall be blessed when you come in, and you shall be blessed when you go out.

⁷พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงกระทำให้ศัตรูผู้ลุกขึ้นต่อสู้ท่านพ่ายแพ้ต่อหน้าท่าน เขาจะออกมาต่อสู้ท่านทางหนึ่ง และหนีให้พ้นหน้าท่านเจ็ดทาง

⁷Yahweh will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be struck before you. They will come out against you one way, and will flee before you seven ways.

⁸พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงบัญชาพระพรให้แก่ฉางของท่าน และบรรดากิจการที่มือท่านกระทำ และพระองค์จะทรงอำนวยพระพรแก่ท่านในแผ่นดินซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านประทานแก่ท่าน

⁸Yahweh will command the blessing on you in your barns, and in all that you put your hand to; and he will bless you in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.

⁹พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงตั้งท่านให้เป็นชนชาติบริสุทธิ์แด่พระองค์ ดังที่พระองค์ทรงปฏิญาณแก่ท่านแล้ว ถ้าท่านรักษาพระบัญญัติของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน และดำเนินในพระมรรคาของพระองค์

⁹Yahweh will establish you for a holy people to himself, as he has sworn to you; if you shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and walk in his ways.

¹⁰และชนชาติทั้งหลายในโลกจะเห็นว่าเขาเรียกท่านตามพระนามพระเยโฮวาห์ และเขาทั้งหลายจะเกรงกลัวท่าน

¹⁰All the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of Yahweh; and they shall be afraid of you.

¹¹พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงกระทำให้ท่านทั้งหลายอุดมสมบูรณ์ไปด้วยผลแห่งตัวของท่าน ผลของฝูงสัตว์ของท่าน และผลแห่งพื้นดินของท่าน ในแผ่นดินซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงปฏิญาณแก่บรรพบุรุษว่าจะให้ท่าน

¹¹Yahweh will make you plenteous for good, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give you.

¹²พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงเปิดคลังฟ้าอันดีของพระองค์ ประทานฝนแก่แผ่นดินของท่านตามฤดูกาล และทรงอำนวยพระพรแก่กิจการน้ำมือของท่าน และท่านจะให้ประชาชาติหลายประชาชาติขอยืม แต่ท่านจะไม่ขอยืมเขา

¹²Yahweh will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand: and you shall lend to many nations, and you shall not borrow.

¹³ถ้าท่านเชื่อฟังพระบัญญัติของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน ซึ่งข้าพเจ้าบัญชาท่านในวันนี้ และระวังที่จะกระทำตาม พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงกระทำให้ท่านเป็นหัว ไม่ใช่เป็นหาง กระทำให้สูงขึ้นทางเดียว มิใช่ให้ต่ำลง

¹³Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath; if you shall listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, which I command you this day, to observe and to do,

¹⁴และท่านจะไม่หันเหไปจากถ้อยคำซึ่งข้าพเจ้าบัญชาท่านในวันนี้ โดยหันไปทางขวามือหรือทางซ้าย ไปติดตามปรนนิบัติพระอื่น

¹⁴and shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

¹⁵แต่ต่อมาถ้าท่านไม่เชื่อฟังพระสุรเสียงของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน และไม่ระวังที่จะกระทำตามพระบัญญัติและกฎเกณฑ์ทั้งสิ้นของพระองค์ ซึ่งข้าพเจ้าบัญชาท่านในวันนี้ แล้วบรรดาคำสาปแช่งเหล่านี้จะตามมาทันท่าน

¹⁵But it shall come to pass, if you will not listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command you this day, that all these curses shall come on you, and overtake you.

¹⁶ท่านทั้งหลายจะรับคำสาปแช่งในเมือง ท่านทั้งหลายจะรับคำสาปแช่งในทุ่งนา

¹⁶You shall be cursed in the city, and you shall be cursed in the field.

¹⁷กระจาดของท่านและรางนวดแป้งของท่านจะรับคำสาปแช่ง

¹⁷Your basket and your kneading trough shall be cursed.

¹⁸ผลแห่งตัวของท่าน ผลแห่งพื้นดินของท่าน ฝูงวัวของท่านที่เพิ่มขึ้น ฝูงแกะของท่านที่เพิ่มจะรับคำสาปแช่ง

¹⁸The fruit of your body, the fruit of your ground, the increase of your livestock, and the young of your flock shall be cursed.

¹⁹ท่านจะรับคำสาปแช่งเมื่อท่านเข้ามา และท่านจะรับคำสาปแช่งเมื่อท่านออกไป

¹⁹You shall be cursed when you come in, and you shall be cursed when you go out.

²⁰พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงบันดาลให้คำสาปแช่ง ความวุ่นวาย และการตำหนิมีขึ้นแก่บรรดากิจการที่มือท่านกระทำจนท่านจะถูกทำลายและพินาศอย่างรวดเร็ว เนื่องด้วยความชั่วซึ่งท่านได้กระทำเพราะท่านได้ทอดทิ้งเราเสีย

²⁰Yahweh will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke, in all that you put your hand to do, until you are destroyed, and until you perish quickly; because of the evil of your doings, by which you have forsaken me.

²¹พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงบันดาลให้โรคร้ายติดพันท่าน จนพระองค์จะทรงเผาผลาญท่านให้สิ้นเสียจากแผ่นดิน ซึ่งท่านเข้าไปยึดครองนั้น

²¹Yahweh will make the pestilence cling to you, until he has consumed you from off the land, where you go in to possess it.

²²พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงเฆี่ยนตีท่านด้วยความซูบผอม และด้วยความไข้ ความอักเสบ ความร้อนอย่างรุนแรง ด้วยดาบ ด้วยพายุร้อนกล้า ด้วยราขึ้น และสิ่งเหล่านี้จะติดตามท่านไปจนท่านพินาศ

²²Yahweh will strike you with consumption, and with fever, and with inflammation, and with fiery heat, and with the sword, and with blight, and with mildew; and they shall pursue you until you perish.

²³และฟ้าสวรรค์ที่อยู่เหนือศีรษะของท่านจะเป็นทองสัมฤทธิ์ และแผ่นดินที่อยู่ใต้ท่านจะเป็นเหล็ก

²³Your sky that is over your head shall be brass, and the earth that is under you shall be iron.

²⁴พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงบันดาลให้ฝนในแผ่นดินของท่านเป็นฝุ่นและละออง ลงมาจากอากาศอยู่เหนือท่านทั้งหลายจนกว่าท่านจะถูกทำลาย

²⁴Yahweh will make the rain of your land powder and dust: from the sky shall it come down on you, until you are destroyed.

²⁵พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงกระทำให้ท่านพ่ายแพ้ต่อหน้าศัตรูของท่าน ท่านจะออกไปต่อสู้เขาทางเดียว แต่จะหนีให้พ้นหน้าเขาเจ็ดทาง และท่านทั้งหลายจะถูกถอนออกไปอยู่ตามบรรดาราชอาณาจักรทั่วโลก

²⁵Yahweh will cause you to be struck before your enemies; you shall go out one way against them, and shall flee seven ways before them: and you shall be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth.

²⁶ซากศพของท่านทั้งหลายจะเป็นอาหารของนกทั้งหลายในอากาศ และสำหรับสัตว์ป่าในโลก และไม่มีผู้ใดขับไล่ฝูงสัตว์เหล่านั้นไป

²⁶Your dead body shall be food to all birds of the sky, and to the animals of the earth; and there shall be none to frighten them away.

²⁷พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงเฆี่ยนตีท่านด้วยฝีอียิปต์ ด้วยริดสีดวงทวารขั้นรุนแรง ด้วยโรคลักปิดลักเปิด และด้วยโรคคัน ซึ่งจะรักษาไม่ได้

²⁷Yahweh will strike you with the boil of Egypt, and with the tumors, and with the scurvy, and with the itch, of which you can not be healed.

²⁸พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงเฆี่ยนตีท่านด้วยโรควิกลจริต โรคตาบอด และให้จิตใจยุ่งเหยิง

²⁸Yahweh will strike you with madness, and with blindness, and with astonishment of heart;

²⁹ท่านจะต้องคลำไปในเวลาเที่ยง เหมือนคนตาบอดคลำไปในความมืด และท่านจะไม่มีความเจริญในหนทางของท่าน ท่านจะถูกบีบคั้นและถูกปล้นอยู่เสมอ และจะไม่มีใครช่วยท่านได้เลย

²⁹and you shall grope at noonday, as the blind gropes in darkness, and you shall not prosper in your ways: and you shall be only oppressed and robbed always, and there shall be none to save you.

³⁰ท่านจะหมั้นหญิงคนหนึ่งไว้เป็นภรรยา และชายอื่นจะเข้าไปสมสู่กับนาง ท่านจะก่อสร้างเรือน แต่จะไม่ได้อาศัยอยู่ในนั้น ท่านจะปลูกสวนองุ่น แต่ท่านจะไม่ได้เก็บผลองุ่นนั้นเข้ามา

³⁰You shall betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: you shall build a house, and you shall not dwell therein: you shall plant a vineyard, and shall not use its fruit.

³¹คนจะฆ่าวัวของท่านต่อหน้าต่อตาท่าน ท่านจะมิได้รับประทานเนื้อวัวนั้น เขาจะมาแย่งชิงลาไปต่อหน้าต่อตาท่าน และเขาจะไม่เอากลับคืนมาให้ท่าน ฝูงแพะแกะของท่านจะต้องเอาไปให้ศัตรูของท่าน และจะไม่มีใครช่วยท่านได้เลย

³¹Your ox shall be slain before your eyes, and you shall not eat of it: your donkey shall be violently taken away from before your face, and shall not be restored to you: your sheep shall be given to your enemies, and you shall have none to save you.

³²เขาจะเอาบุตรชายและบุตรสาวของท่านไปให้แก่ประชาชาติอื่น ส่วนตาของท่านจะมองดูและมืดมัวลงด้วยความอาลัยอาวรณ์ตลอดเวลา อำนาจน้ำมือของท่านก็ไม่สามารถจะป้องกันได้

³²Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people; and your eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day: and there shall be nothing in the power of your hand.

³³ชนชาติที่ท่านไม่เคยรู้จักมาแต่ก่อนจะมารับประทานพืชผลแห่งแผ่นดินของท่าน และกินผลงานทั้งปวงของท่าน เขาจะบีบคั้นและเหยียบย่ำท่านเสมอไป

³³The fruit of your ground, and all your labors, shall a nation which you don’t know eat up; and you shall be only oppressed and crushed always;

³⁴ดังนั้นภาพที่ท่านเห็นจึงจะกระทำให้ท่านบ้าคลั่งไป

³⁴so that you shall be mad for the sight of your eyes which you shall see.

³⁵พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงเฆี่ยนตีท่านด้วยฝีร้ายที่หัวเข่า และที่ขา ซึ่งท่านจะรักษาให้หายไม่ได้ เป็นตั้งแต่ฝ่าเท้าจนถึงกระหม่อมของท่าน

³⁵Yahweh will strike you in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore boil, of which you can not be healed, from the sole of your foot to the crown of your head.

³⁶พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงนำท่าน และกษัตริย์ผู้ที่ท่านแต่งตั้งไว้เหนือท่านนั้น ไปยังประชาชาติซึ่งท่านและบรรพบุรุษของท่านไม่รู้จักมาก่อน ณ ที่นั้นท่านจะปรนนิบัติพระอื่นที่ทำด้วยไม้และด้วยหิน

³⁶Yahweh will bring you, and your king whom you shall set over you, to a nation that you have not known, you nor your fathers; and there you shall serve other gods, wood and stone.

³⁷ท่านจะเป็นที่น่าตกตะลึง เป็นคำภาษิต เป็นที่คำครหาท่ามกลางชนชาติทั้งปวงที่พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงนำท่านไปนั้น

³⁷You shall become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all the peoples where Yahweh shall lead you away.

³⁸ท่านจะต้องเอาพืชไปหว่านไว้ในนามากและเก็บผลเข้ามาแต่น้อย เพราะตั๊กแตนจะกัดกินเสีย

³⁸You shall carry much seed out into the field, and shall gather little in; for the locust shall consume it.

³⁹ท่านจะปลูกและแต่งต้นองุ่น แต่ท่านจะไม่ได้ดื่มน้ำองุ่นหรือเก็บผลเข้ามา เพราะตัวหนอนจะกินมันเสีย

³⁹You shall plant vineyards and dress them, but you shall neither drink of the wine, nor harvest; for the worm shall eat them.

⁴⁰ท่านจะมีต้นมะกอกเทศอยู่ทั่วอาณาเขตของท่าน แต่ท่านจะไม่ได้น้ำมันมาชโลมตัวท่าน เพราะว่าผลมะกอกเทศของท่านจะร่วงหล่นเสีย

⁴⁰You shall have olive trees throughout all your borders, but you shall not anoint yourself with the oil; for your olives shall drop off.

⁴¹ท่านจะให้กำเนิดบุตรชายและบุตรสาว แต่จะไม่เป็นของท่าน เพราะเขาจะตกไปเป็นเชลย

⁴¹You shall father sons and daughters, but they shall not be yours; for they shall go into captivity.

⁴²ต้นไม้ทั้งหลายของท่านและผลจากพื้นดินของท่านนั้น ตั๊กแตนจะถือกรรมสิทธิ์

⁴²All your trees and the fruit of your ground shall the locust possess.

⁴³คนต่างด้าวซึ่งอยู่ท่ามกลางท่าน จะสูงขึ้นไปเหนือท่านทุกทีๆ และท่านจะต่ำลงทุกทีๆ

⁴³The foreigner who is in the midst of you shall mount up above you higher and higher; and you shall come down lower and lower.

⁴⁴เขาจะให้ท่านทั้งหลายยืมของของเขาได้ และท่านจะไม่มีให้เขายืม เขาจะเป็นหัว และท่านจะเป็นหาง

⁴⁴He shall lend to you, and you shall not lend to him: he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.

⁴⁵ยิ่งกว่านั้นคำสาปแช่งทั้งหมดนี้จะตามหาท่าน และตามทันท่านจนกว่าท่านจะถูกทำลาย เพราะว่าท่านไม่เชื่อฟังพระสุรเสียงของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน ที่จะรักษาพระบัญญัติและกฎเกณฑ์ของพระองค์ซึ่งพระองค์บัญชาท่านไว้

⁴⁵All these curses shall come on you, and shall pursue you, and overtake you, until you are destroyed; because you didn’t listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded you:

⁴⁶สิ่งเหล่านี้จะเป็นหมายสำคัญและการมหัศจรรย์อยู่เหนือท่าน และเหนือเชื้อสายของท่านเป็นนิตย์

⁴⁶and they shall be on you for a sign and for a wonder, and on your seed forever.

⁴⁷เพราะท่านมิได้ปรนนิบัติพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านด้วยความร่าเริงและใจยินดี เพราะเหตุมีสิ่งสารพัดบริบูรณ์

⁴⁷Because you didn’t serve Yahweh your God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, by reason of the abundance of all things;

⁴⁸เพราะฉะนั้นท่านจึงต้องปรนนิบัติศัตรูของท่าน ซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงใช้มาต่อสู้ท่าน ด้วยความหิวและกระหาย เปลือยกายและขัดสนทุกอย่าง และพระองค์จะทรงวางแอกเหล็กบนคอของท่าน จนกว่าพระองค์จะทำลายท่านเสียสิ้น

⁴⁸therefore you shall serve your enemies whom Yahweh shall send against you, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron on your neck, until he has destroyed you.

⁴⁹พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงนำประชาชาติหนึ่งมาต่อสู้กับท่านจากทางไกล จากที่สุดปลายแผ่นดินโลก เร็วเหมือนนกอินทรีบินมา เป็นประชาชาติที่ท่านไม่รู้จักภาษาของเขา

⁴⁹Yahweh will bring a nation against you from far, from the end of the earth, as the eagle flies; a nation whose language you shall not understand;

⁵⁰เป็นประชาชาติที่มีหน้าตาดุร้าย คือผู้ซึ่งไม่เคารพคนแก่ และไม่โปรดปรานคนหนุ่มสาว

⁵⁰a nation of fierce facial expressions, that shall not respect the person of the old, nor show favor to the young,

⁵¹และจะรับประทานผลของฝูงสัตว์ของท่าน และพืชผลจากพื้นดินของท่าน จนท่านจะถูกทำลาย ทั้งเขาจะไม่เหลือข้าว น้ำองุ่นหรือน้ำมัน ลูกวัว หรือลูกแกะอ่อนไว้ให้ท่าน จนกว่าเขาจะกระทำให้ท่านพินาศ

⁵¹and shall eat the fruit of your livestock, and the fruit of your ground, until you are destroyed; that also shall not leave you grain, new wine, or oil, the increase of your livestock, or the young of your flock, until they have caused you to perish.

⁵²เขาจะล้อมท่านไว้ทุกประตูเมืองจนกำแพงสูงและเข้มแข็งซึ่งท่านไว้วางใจนั้นพังทลายลงทั่วแผ่นดินของท่าน คือเขาจะล้อมท่านไว้ทุกประตูเมืองทั่วแผ่นดินของท่านซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านประทานแก่ท่าน

⁵²They shall besiege you in all your gates, until your high and fortified walls come down, in which you trusted, throughout all your land; and they shall besiege you in all your gates throughout all your land, which Yahweh your God has given you.

⁵³ท่านจะต้องรับประทานผลแห่งตัวของท่านเป็นอาหาร คือเนื้อบุตรชายและบุตรสาวของท่าน ผู้ซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านประทานแก่ท่าน ในการล้อมและในความทุกข์ลำบากซึ่งศัตรูของท่านมาทำให้ท่านทั้งหลายทุกข์ลำบากนั้น

⁵³You shall eat the fruit of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters, whom Yahweh your God has given you, in the siege and in the distress with which your enemies shall distress you.

⁵⁴ผู้ชายสำรวยและสำอางเหลือเกินในหมู่พวกท่านทั้งหลาย ตาเขาจะชั่วร้ายต่อพี่น้องของตน ต่อภรรยาที่อยู่ในอ้อมอกของตนและต่อลูกๆคนสุดท้ายที่เหลืออยู่กับตน

⁵⁴The man who is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children whom he has remaining;

⁵⁵จนเขาจะไม่ยอมให้ใครกินเนื้อลูกของตนซึ่งกำลังกินอยู่ เพราะไม่มีอะไรเหลือให้เขาอีกแล้วในการล้อมและในความทุกข์ลำบาก ซึ่งศัตรูของท่านมาทำให้ท่านทั้งหลายทุกข์ลำบากทุกประตูเมือง

⁵⁵so that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat, because he has nothing left him, in the siege and in the distress with which your enemy shall distress you in all your gates.

⁵⁶ผู้หญิงสำรวยและสำอางเหลือเกินในหมู่พวกท่าน ซึ่งไม่เคยย่างเท้าลงที่พื้นดินเพราะเป็นคนสำอางและสำรวยอย่างนั้น ตาเขาจะชั่วร้ายต่อสามีในอ้อมอกของเธอ และต่อบุตรชายและบุตรสาวของเธอ

⁵⁶The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not adventure to set the sole of her foot on the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,

⁵⁷ต่อรกซึ่งเพิ่งออกมาจากหว่างขาของเธอ และต่อลูกแดงที่เพิ่งคลอด เพราะว่าเธอจะกินเป็นอาหารเงียบๆเพราะขัดสนทุกอย่าง ในการถูกล้อมและในความทุกข์ลำบาก ซึ่งศัตรูของท่านมาทำให้ท่านทั้งหลายทุกข์ลำบากทุกประตูเมือง

⁵⁷and toward her young one who comes out from between her feet, and toward her children whom she shall bear; for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly, in the siege and in the distress with which your enemy shall distress you in your gates.

⁵⁸ถ้าท่านทั้งหลายไม่ระวังที่จะกระทำตามถ้อยคำทั้งสิ้นของพระราชบัญญัติซึ่งเขียนไว้ในหนังสือม้วนนี้ ที่จะให้ยำเกรงพระนามที่ทรงสง่าราศีและที่น่าสะพึงกลัวนี้ คือพระนามพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน

⁵⁸If you will not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, YAHWEH YOUR GOD;

⁵⁹แล้วพระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงนำมาสู่ท่านและเชื้อสายของท่านด้วยภัยพิบัติอย่างผิดธรรมดา ภัยพิบัติร้ายแรงและช้านาน และความเจ็บไข้ต่างๆที่ร้ายแรงและช้านาน

⁵⁹then Yahweh will make your plagues wonderful, and the plagues of your seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and severe sicknesses, and of long continuance.

⁶⁰ยิ่งกว่านั้นพระองค์จะทรงนำโรคทั้งหลายแห่งอียิปต์ ซึ่งท่านกลัวนั้นมาสู่ท่าน และมันจะติดพันท่านอยู่

⁶⁰He will bring on you again all the diseases of Egypt, which you were afraid of; and they shall cling to you.

⁶¹เช่นเดียวกันโรคทุกอย่างและภัยพิบัติทุกอย่าง ซึ่งมิได้ระบุไว้ในหนังสือพระราชบัญญัตินี้ พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงนำมายังท่าน จนกว่าท่านทั้งหลายจะถูกทำลาย

⁶¹Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, Yahweh will bring them on you, until you are destroyed.

⁶²ซึ่งพวกท่านทั้งหลายมีมากอย่างดวงดาวในท้องฟ้านั้น ท่านก็จะเหลือแต่จำนวนน้อย เพราะว่าท่านไม่เชื่อฟังพระสุรเสียงของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน

⁶²You shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of the sky for multitude; because you didn’t listen to the voice of Yahweh your God.

⁶³และต่อมาซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์พอพระทัยที่จะทรงกระทำดีต่อท่านและอำนวยพระพรให้ท่านทวีมากขึ้นนั้น พระเยโฮวาห์ก็จะทรงพอพระทัยที่จะทรงทำให้ท่านพินาศและทำลายท่านเสียเช่นเดียวกัน ท่านจะต้องถูกเด็ดทิ้งไปเสียจากแผ่นดินซึ่งท่านกำลังจะเข้าไปยึดครองนั้น

⁶³It shall happen that as Yahweh rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you, so Yahweh will rejoice over you to cause you to perish, and to destroy you; and you shall be plucked from off the land where you go in to possess it.

⁶⁴และพระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงกระทำให้ท่านทั้งหลายกระจัดกระจายไปท่ามกลางชนชาติทั้งหลาย ตั้งแต่ที่สุดปลายโลกข้างนี้ไปถึงข้างโน้น ณ ที่นั้นท่านจะปรนนิบัติพระอื่นๆ ซึ่งท่านและบรรพบุรุษของท่านไม่รู้จักคือ พระซึ่งทำด้วยไม้และศิลา

⁶⁴Yahweh will scatter you among all peoples, from the one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth; and there you shall serve other gods, which you have not known, you nor your fathers, even wood and stone.

⁶⁵เมื่อท่านอยู่ท่ามกลางประชาชาติต่างๆนั้น ท่านจะไม่พบความสบายเลย ฝ่าเท้าของท่านจะไม่มีที่หยุดพัก เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์จะประทานให้ท่านมีจิตใจที่หวาดหวั่น มีตาที่มืดมัวลงและมีชีวิตที่ค่อยๆวอดลง

⁶⁵Among these nations you shall find no ease, and there shall be no rest for the sole of your foot: but Yahweh will give you there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and pining of soul;

⁶⁶และชีวิตของท่านก็จะแขวนอยู่ข้างหน้าท่านอย่างสงสัย ท่านจะครั่นคร้ามอยู่ทั้งกลางคืนและกลางวัน ไม่มีความแน่ใจในชีวิตของท่านเลย

⁶⁶and your life shall hang in doubt before you; and you shall fear night and day, and shall have no assurance of your life.

⁶⁷ในเวลาเช้าท่านจะกล่าวว่า `ถ้าเป็นเวลาเย็นก็จะดี' และในเวลาเย็นท่านจะกล่าวว่า `ถ้าเป็นเวลาเช้าก็จะดี' เพราะความครั่นคร้ามซึ่งมีอยู่ในจิตใจท่านนั้น และเพราะสิ่งที่ตาท่านจะเห็น

⁶⁷In the morning you shall say, “I wish it were evening!” and at evening you shall say, “I wish it were morning!” for the fear of your heart which you shall fear, and for the sight of your eyes which you shall see.

⁶⁸และพระเยโฮวาห์จะนำท่านกลับมาทางเรือถึงอียิปต์ เป็นการเดินทางซึ่งข้าพเจ้าได้กล่าวว่า ท่านจะไม่พบเห็นอีกเลย ณ ที่นั่นท่านจะต้องมอบตัวขายให้ศัตรูเป็นทาสชายและทาสหญิง แต่จะไม่มีผู้ใดซื้อท่าน"

⁶⁸Yahweh will bring you into Egypt again with ships, by the way of which I said to you, You shall see it no more again: and there you shall sell yourselves to your enemies for bondservants and for bondmaids, and no man shall buy you.
