¹ขณะนั้นโมเสสกับชนชาติอิสราเอลร้องเพลงบทนี้ ถวายพระเยโฮวาห์ว่า "ข้าพเจ้าจะร้องเพลงถวายพระเยโฮวาห์ เพราะพระองค์ทรงได้ชัยชนะอย่างใหญ่หลวง พระองค์ทรงกวาดม้าและพลม้าลงในทะเล

¹Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to Yahweh, and said, “I will sing to Yahweh, for he has triumphed gloriously. The horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.

²พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเป็นกำลังและเป็นบทเพลงแห่งข้าพเจ้า พระองค์ทรงเป็นผู้ช่วยให้ข้าพเจ้ารอด พระองค์นี่แหละเป็นพระเจ้าของข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าจะสรรเสริญพระองค์ ทรงเป็นพระเจ้าของบรรพบุรุษของข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าจะยกย่องสรรเสริญพระองค์

²Yah is my strength and song. He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

³พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเป็นนักรบ พระนามของพระองค์คือ พระเยโฮวาห์

³Yahweh is a man of war. Yahweh is his name.

⁴พระองค์ทรงเหวี่ยงรถรบ และโยนพลโยธาของฟาโรห์ลงในทะเล นายทหารรถรบชั้นยอดของฟาโรห์ก็จมในทะเลแดง

⁴He has cast Pharaoh’s chariots and his army into the sea. His chosen captains are sunk in the Red Sea or, Sea of Reeds .

⁵น้ำท่วมเขา เขาจมลงในทะเลที่ลึกประดุจก้อนหิน

⁵The deeps cover them. They went down into the depths like a stone.

⁶ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ พระหัตถ์ขวาของพระองค์ ทรงอานุภาพยิ่ง ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ พระหัตถ์ขวาของพระองค์ทรงทำลายศัตรูให้พินาศไป

⁶Your right hand, Yahweh, is glorious in power. Your right hand, Yahweh, dashes the enemy in pieces.

⁷ด้วยเดชานุภาพอันยิ่งใหญ่ของพระองค์ พระองค์ทรงคว่ำปฏิปักษ์ของพระองค์เสีย พระองค์ทรงใช้พระพิโรธของพระองค์เผาผลาญเขาเสียอย่างตอฟาง

⁷In the greatness of your excellency, you overthrow those who rise up against you. You send forth your wrath. It consumes them as stubble.

⁸โดยลมที่ระบายจากช่องพระนาสิกน้ำก็ท่วมสูงขึ้นไป น้ำท่วมก็ท้นสูงขึ้น น้ำก็แข็งขึ้นในท้องทะเล

⁸With the blast of your nostrils, the waters were piled up. The floods stood upright as a heap. The deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea.

⁹พวกข้าศึกกล่าวว่า `เราจะติดตาม เราจะจับให้ทัน เราจะริบสิ่งของมาแบ่งปันกัน เราจึงจะพอใจที่ได้กระทำกับพวกนั้นดังประสงค์ เราจะชักดาบออก มือเราจะทำลายเขาเสีย'

⁹The enemy said, ‘I will pursue. I will overtake. I will divide the spoil. My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.’

¹⁰พระองค์ทรงบันดาลให้ลมพัดมา น้ำทะเลก็ท่วมเขามิด เขาจมลงในกระแสน้ำอันไหลแรงนั้นเหมือนตะกั่ว

¹⁰You blew with your wind. The sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.

¹¹ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ในบรรดาพระทั้งปวงองค์ไหนจะเป็นเหมือนพระองค์เล่า องค์ไหนจะเหมือนพระองค์ผู้ทรงประกอบด้วยความบริสุทธิ์อันรุ่งเรือง และน่าเกรงขามเนื่องด้วยการสรรเสริญ และการมหัศจรรย์ที่พระองค์ทรงกระทำ

¹¹Who is like you, Yahweh, among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

¹²พระองค์ทรงเหยียดพระหัตถ์ขวาออก แผ่นดินก็กลืนพวกเขาเสีย

¹²You stretched out your right hand. The earth swallowed them.

¹³พระองค์ทรงนำชนชาติ ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงไถ่ไว้ด้วยพระเมตตาของพระองค์ พระองค์ทรงพาเขามาถึงที่สถิตอันบริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์ ด้วยพระเดชานุภาพ

¹³“You, in your loving kindness, have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.

¹⁴ชนชาติทั้งหลายจะได้ยิน แล้วจะพากันหวาดกลัว ชาวประเทศฟีลิสเตียจะรู้สึกเสียวสยอง

¹⁴The peoples have heard. They tremble. Pangs have taken hold on the inhabitants of Philistia.

¹⁵ครั้งนั้นพวกเจ้านายในเมืองเอโดมก็จะพากันหวาดกลัว และพวกหัวหน้าในเมืองโมอับก็จะสะทกสะท้าน ชาวเมืองคานาอันทั้งปวงก็จะระส่ำระสายไป

¹⁵Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed. Trembling takes hold of the mighty men of Moab. All the inhabitants of Canaan are melted away.

¹⁶ความรู้สึกเสียวสยอง และความตกใจกลัวจะอุบัติขึ้นในใจของเขา เนื่องด้วยฤทธานุภาพแห่งพระกรของพระองค์ เขาจะหยุดนิ่งอยู่เหมือนก้อนหิน ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ จนพลไพร่ของพระองค์ผ่านพ้นไป จนชนชาติซึ่งพระองค์ทรงไถ่ไว้แล้วผ่านไป

¹⁶Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone— until your people pass over, Yahweh, until the people pass over who you have purchased.

¹⁷พระองค์จะทรงนำเขาเข้ามา และทรงตั้งเขาไว้บนภูเขาซึ่งเป็นมรดกของพระองค์ ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ เป็นสถานที่ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงสร้างไว้ เพื่อเป็นที่สถิตของพระองค์ ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ สถานบริสุทธิ์ซึ่งพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์สถาปนาไว้

¹⁷You shall bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of your inheritance, the place, Yahweh, which you have made for yourself to dwell in; the sanctuary, Lord, which your hands have established.

¹⁸พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงครอบครองอยู่เป็นนิตย์นิรันดร์

¹⁹เพราะเมื่อกองม้าของฟาโรห์กับราชรถ และพลม้าของท่านลงไปในทะเล พระเยโฮวาห์ก็ทรงให้น้ำทะเลไหลกลับมาท่วมเสีย แต่ชนชาติอิสราเอลเดินไปบนดินแห้งกลางทะเลนั้น"

¹⁹For the horses of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and Yahweh brought back the waters of the sea on them; but the children of Israel walked on dry land in the midst of the sea.

²⁰ฝ่ายมิเรียมหญิงผู้พยากรณ์ พี่สาวของอาโรนก็ถือรำมะนา และหญิงทั้งปวงก็ถือรำมะนาเดินตาม พร้อมเต้นรำไปด้วย

²⁰Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand; and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with dances.

²¹มิเรียมจึงร้องนำว่า "จงร้องเพลงถวายพระเยโฮวาห์เถิด เพราะพระองค์ทรงได้ชัยชนะอย่างใหญ่หลวง พระองค์ทรงกวาดม้าและพลม้าให้ตกลงไปในทะเล"

²¹Miriam answered them, “Sing to Yahweh, for he has triumphed gloriously. The horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.”

²²ต่อมาโมเสสนำพวกอิสราเอลออกจากทะเลแดงไปยังถิ่นทุรกันดารชูร์ เดินไปในถิ่นทุรกันดารสามวัน ก็มิได้พบน้ำเลย

²²Moses led Israel onward from the Red Sea or, Sea of Reeds , and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.

²³ครั้นมาถึงตำบลมาราห์ เขาก็กินน้ำที่ตำบลมาราห์นั้นไม่ได้ เพราะน้ำขม เหตุฉะนั้นจึงตั้งชื่อว่ามาราห์

²³When they came to Marah, they couldn’t drink from the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore its name was called Marah. Marah means bitter.

²⁴และพลไพร่นั้นก็พากันบ่นต่อว่าโมเสสว่า "พวกเราจะเอาอะไรดื่ม"

²⁴The people murmured against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”

²⁵โมเสสก็ร้องทูลพระเยโฮวาห์ พระเยโฮวาห์จึงทรงชี้ให้ท่านเห็นต้นไม้ต้นหนึ่ง เมื่อโยนต้นไม้นั้นลงในน้ำ น้ำก็จืด ณ ที่นั้นพระองค์ทรงประทานกฎเกณฑ์ และกฎไว้ และทรงลองใจเขาที่นั่น

²⁵Then he cried to Yahweh. Yahweh showed him a tree, and he threw it into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There he made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there he tested them;

²⁶พระองค์ตรัสว่า "ถ้าเจ้าทั้งหลายฟังพระสุรเสียงของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเจ้าอย่างขะมักเขม้น และกระทำสิ่งที่ถูกต้องในสายพระเนตรของพระองค์ เงี่ยหูฟังพระบัญญัติของพระองค์ และรักษากฎเกณฑ์ของพระองค์ทุกประการ แล้วโรคต่างๆซึ่งเราบันดาลให้เกิดแก่ชาวอียิปต์นั้น เราจะไม่ให้บังเกิดแก่พวกเจ้าเลย เพราะเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์เป็นผู้รักษาเจ้าให้หาย"

²⁶and he said, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you.”

²⁷พวกเขามาถึงตำบลเอลิม ที่มีบ่อน้ำพุสิบสองบ่อ มีต้นอินทผลัมเจ็ดสิบต้น พวกเขาจึงตั้งค่ายใกล้บ่อน้ำนั้น

²⁷They came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water, and seventy palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.
