1พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า
1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2"ดูซี เราได้ออกชื่อเบซาเลล ผู้เป็นบุตรชายอุรี ผู้เป็นบุตรชายเฮอร์แห่งตระกูลยูดาห์
2“Behold, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:
3และได้ให้เขาประกอบด้วยพระวิญญาณของพระเจ้าคือให้เขามีสติปัญญา ความเข้าใจและความรู้ในวิชาการทุกอย่าง
3and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all kinds of workmanship,
4จะได้คิดออกแบบอย่างประณีตในการทำเครื่องทองคำ เงิน และทองสัมฤทธิ์
4to devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
5เจียระไนพลอยต่างๆสำหรับฝังในกระเปาะและแกะสลักไม้ได้ คือประกอบวิชาการทุกอย่าง
5and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of workmanship.
6และดูเถิด เราได้ตั้งผู้ช่วยอีกคนหนึ่ง ชื่อโอโฮลีอับ บุตรชายอาหิสะมัคแห่งตระกูลดาน และสำหรับคนทั้งปวงผู้เฉลียวฉลาดเราได้บันดาลให้เขามีจิตใจอันประกอบด้วยสติปัญญา เพื่อเขาจะได้ทำสิ่งสารพัดซึ่งเราได้สั่งเจ้าไว้นั้น
6I, behold, I have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the heart of all who are wise-hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded you:
7คือพลับพลาแห่งชุมนุม หีบพระโอวาทและพระที่นั่งกรุณา ซึ่งอยู่บนหีบพระโอวาท และเครื่องใช้ทุกอย่างสำหรับพลับพลา
7the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the testimony, the mercy seat that is on it, all the furniture of the Tent,
8โต๊ะกับเครื่องใช้สำหรับโต๊ะ คันประทีปบริสุทธิ์กับเครื่องใช้สำหรับคันประทีป และแท่นเครื่องหอม
8the table and its vessels, the pure lampstand with all its vessels, the altar of incense,
9แท่นเครื่องเผาบูชากับเครื่องใช้ประจำแท่น ขันกับพานรองขันนั้น
9the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, the basin and its base,
10เสื้อยศเย็บด้วยฝีมือประณีต คือเสื้อยศอันบริสุทธิ์ของอาโรนปุโรหิต และเสื้อยศของบุตรชายของเขา เพื่อจะได้สวมปฏิบัติในตำแหน่งปุโรหิต
10the finely worked garments—the holy garments for Aaron the priest—the garments of his sons to minister in the priest’s office,
11และน้ำมันเจิมกับเครื่องหอมสำหรับที่บริสุทธิ์ ที่เราบัญชาเจ้านั้นให้เขากระทำตามทุกประการ"
11the anointing oil, and the incense of sweet spices for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded you they shall do.”
12พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า
12Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
13"จงสั่งชนชาติอิสราเอลว่า `เจ้าทั้งหลายจงรักษาวันสะบาโตของเราไว้ เพราะนี่จะเป็นหมายสำคัญระหว่างเรากับเจ้าตลอดชั่วอายุของเจ้า เพื่อเจ้าจะได้รู้ว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์ ผู้ได้กระทำเจ้าให้บริสุทธิ์
13“Speak also to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Most certainly you shall keep my Sabbaths: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies you.
14เหตุฉะนี้ เจ้าทั้งหลายจงรักษาวันสะบาโตไว้ เพราะเป็นวันบริสุทธิ์สำหรับเจ้า ทุกคนที่กระทำให้วันนั้นเป็นมลทินจะต้องถูกประหารให้ตาย เพราะผู้ใดก็ตามทำการงานในวันนั้น ผู้นั้นต้องถูกตัดขาดจากท่ามกลางชนชาติของเขา
14You shall keep the Sabbath therefore; for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15จงทำงานแต่ในกำหนดหกวัน แต่ในวันที่เจ็ดเป็นวันสะบาโต เป็นวันหยุดพักสงบ เป็นวันบริสุทธิ์แด่พระเยโฮวาห์ ผู้ใดทำงานในวันสะบาโตนั้นต้องถูกลงโทษถึงตาย
15Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to Yahweh. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall surely be put to death.
16เหตุฉะนี้ ชนชาติอิสราเอลจงรักษาวันสะบาโตไว้ คือถือวันสะบาโตตลอดชั่วอายุของเขาเป็นพันธสัญญาเนืองนิตย์
16Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
17เป็นหมายสำคัญระหว่างเรากับชนชาติอิสราเอลว่า ในหกวันพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ทรงสร้างฟ้าสวรรค์และแผ่นดินโลก แต่ในวันที่เจ็ดพระองค์ได้ทรงงดการงานไว้ และได้ทรงหย่อนพระทัยในวันนั้น'"
17It is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.’”
18เมื่อพระองค์ตรัสแก่โมเสสบนภูเขาซีนายเสร็จแล้ว พระองค์ได้ประทานแผ่นพระโอวาทสองแผ่น เป็นแผ่นศิลาจารึกด้วยนิ้วพระหัตถ์ของพระเจ้า
18He gave to Moses, when he finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony, stone tablets, written with God’s finger.
