1ขณะนั้นพระเยโฮวาห์จึงตรัสกับโมเสสว่า "ไปเข้าเฝ้าฟาโรห์บอกฟาโรห์ว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของคนฮีบรูตรัสดังนี้ว่า "จงปล่อยให้พลไพร่ของเราไป เพื่อเขาจะได้ปรนนิบัติเรา
1Then Yahweh said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him, ‘This is what Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, says: “Let my people go, that they may serve me.
2ด้วยว่าถ้าเจ้าไม่ยอมปล่อยให้ไป และยังหน่วงเหนี่ยวเขาไว้
2For if you refuse to let them go, and hold them still,
3ดูเถิด หัตถ์ของพระเยโฮวาห์จะอยู่บนฝูงสัตว์ของเจ้าซึ่งอยู่ในทุ่งนา ฝูงม้า ฝูงลา ฝูงอูฐ ฝูงวัว และฝูงแกะ จะทำให้เป็นโรคระบาดร้ายแรงขึ้น
3behold, the hand of Yahweh is on your livestock which are in the field, on the horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the herds, and on the flocks with a very grievous pestilence.
4และพระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงกระทำต่อฝูงสัตว์ของชนชาติอิสราเอลต่างกับฝูงสัตว์ของชาวอียิปต์ สัตว์ของคนอิสราเอลจะไม่ต้องตายเลย"'"
4Yahweh will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt; and nothing shall die of all that belongs to the children of Israel.”’”
5พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงกำหนดเวลาไว้ว่า "พรุ่งนี้พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงกระทำสิ่งนี้ในแผ่นดิน"
5Yahweh appointed a set time, saying, “Tomorrow Yahweh shall do this thing in the land.”
6รุ่งขึ้นพระเยโฮวาห์ก็ทรงกระทำสิ่งนั้น ฝูงสัตว์ของชาวอียิปต์ตายหมด แต่สัตว์ของชาติอิสราเอลไม่ตายสักตัวเดียว
6Yahweh did that thing on the next day; and all the livestock of Egypt died, but of the livestock of the children of Israel, not one died.
7ฟาโรห์ทรงใช้คนไปดู และดูเถิด สัตว์ของคนอิสราเอลไม่ตายสักตัวเดียว แต่พระทัยของฟาโรห์ก็แข็งกระด้าง พระองค์ไม่ยอมปล่อยให้บ่าวไพร่ไป
7Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not so much as one of the livestock of the Israelites dead. But the heart of Pharaoh was stubborn, and he didn’t let the people go.
8พระเยโฮวาห์จึงตรัสแก่โมเสสและอาโรนว่า "เจ้าจงกำขี้เถ้าจากเตาให้เต็มกำมือแล้วให้โมเสสซัดขึ้นไปในอากาศในสายพระเนตรของฟาโรห์
8Yahweh said to Moses and to Aaron, “Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the sky in the sight of Pharaoh.
9และมันจะกลายเป็นฝุ่นปลิวไปทั่วแผ่นดินอียิปต์ทำให้เกิดเป็นฝีแตกลามทั้งตัวคนและสัตว์ทั่วแผ่นดินอียิปต์"
9It shall become small dust over all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking out with boils on man and on animal, throughout all the land of Egypt.”
10เขาทั้งสองจึงนำขี้เถ้าจากเตาไปยืนอยู่ต่อพระพักตร์ฟาโรห์ และโมเสสก็ซัดขี้เถ้าขึ้นไปในท้องฟ้า ขี้เถ้านั้นก็กลายเป็นฝีแตกลามไปทั้งตัวคนและสัตว์
10They took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward the sky; and it became a boil breaking out with boils on man and on animal.
11ฝ่ายพวกนักแสดงกลก็ไม่สามารถยืนอยู่ต่อหน้าโมเสสเพราะเหตุฝีนั้น เพราะนักแสดงกลและชาวอียิปต์ทั้งปวง ก็เป็นฝีด้วยเหมือนกัน
11The magicians couldn’t stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boils were on the magicians, and on all the Egyptians.
12แต่พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงทำให้พระทัยของฟาโรห์แข็งกระด้าง ฟาโรห์ไม่ยอมเชื่อฟังโมเสสและอาโรน เหมือนที่พระเยโฮวาห์ได้ตรัสกับโมเสสไว้แล้ว
12Yahweh hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken to Moses.
13พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า "จงตื่นแต่เช้าไปยืนต่อหน้าฟาโรห์บอกเขาว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของคนฮีบรูตรัสดังนี้ว่า "จงปล่อยพลไพร่ของเราเพื่อเขาจะไปปรนนิบัติเรา
13Yahweh said to Moses, “Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and tell him, ‘This is what Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, says: “Let my people go, that they may serve me.
14ด้วยว่าคราวนี้เราจะบันดาลให้เกิดภัยพิบัติทั้งหมดแก่จิตใจเจ้า และแก่ข้าราชการ และแก่พลเมืองของเจ้า เพื่อเจ้าจะได้รู้แน่ว่า ทั่วโลกไม่มีผู้ใดจะเปรียบกับเราได้
14For this time I will send all my plagues against your heart, against your officials, and against your people; that you may know that there is none like me in all the earth.
15เพราะเดี๋ยวนี้เราจะเหยียดมือของเราออกเพื่อจะฟาดเจ้าและประชาชนของเจ้าด้วยภัยพิบัติ และเจ้าจะถูกตัดออกไปจากแผ่นดินโลก
15For now I would have stretched out my hand, and struck you and your people with pestilence, and you would have been cut off from the earth;
16และเพราะเหตุนี้เราให้เจ้ามีตำแหน่งสูง ก็เพื่อจะแสดงฤทธานุภาพของเราโดยเจ้าและเพื่อให้นามของเราถูกประกาศออกไปทั่วโลก
16but indeed for this cause I have made you stand: to show you my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth;
17เจ้ายังถือทิฐิต่อสู้พลไพร่ของเรา เจ้าจึงไม่ยอมปล่อยเขาไปหรือ
17as you still exalt yourself against my people, that you won’t let them go.
18ดูเถิด พรุ่งนี้ประมาณเวลานี้ เราจะทำให้ลูกเห็บตกลงมาอย่างหนัก อย่างที่ไม่เคยมีในอียิปต์ ตั้งแต่เริ่มสร้างบ้านเมืองมาจนบัดนี้
18Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as has not been in Egypt since the day it was founded even until now.
19เหตุฉะนั้น บัดนี้จงต้อนฝูงสัตว์ และทุกสิ่งที่เจ้ามีอยู่ในทุ่งนาให้เข้าที่กำบัง เพราะคนทุกคนและสัตว์ทุกตัวที่อยู่ในทุ่งนาที่มิได้เข้ามาอยู่ในบ้านจะถูกลูกเห็บตายหมด"'"
19Now therefore command that all of your livestock and all that you have in the field be brought into shelter. Every man and animal that is found in the field, and isn’t brought home, the hail shall come down on them, and they shall die.”’”
20บรรดาข้าราชการของฟาโรห์ที่เกรงกลัวพระดำรัสของพระเยโฮวาห์ก็ให้ทาสและสัตว์ของตนกลับเข้าบ้าน
20Those who feared the word of Yahweh among the servants of Pharaoh made their servants and their livestock flee into the houses.
21แต่ผู้ที่ไม่นับถือพระดำรัสของพระเยโฮวาห์ก็ยังคงปล่อยให้ทาสและสัตว์ของตนอยู่ในทุ่งนา
21Whoever didn’t respect the word of Yahweh left his servants and his livestock in the field.
22พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า "จงชูมือขึ้นยังท้องฟ้า เพื่อลูกเห็บจะได้ตกลงมาทั่วแผ่นดินอียิปต์ บนมนุษย์ บนสัตว์และบนผักหญ้าทุกอย่างซึ่งอยู่ในทุ่งนาทั่วแผ่นดินอียิปต์"
22Yahweh said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, on man, and on animal, and on every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.”
23โมเสสก็ชูไม้เท้าของตนขึ้นยังท้องฟ้าแล้วพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงบันดาลให้มีเสียงฟ้าร้อง มีลูกเห็บ และไฟตกลงมาบนแผ่นดิน และพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงบันดาลให้ลูกเห็บตกบนแผ่นดินอียิปต์
23Moses stretched out his rod toward the heavens, and Yahweh sent thunder, hail, and lightning flashed down to the earth. Yahweh rained hail on the land of Egypt.
24มีลูกเห็บและลูกเห็บปนไฟตกหนักยิ่งนักอย่างที่ไม่เคยมีทั่วแผ่นดินอียิปต์ ตั้งแต่เริ่มตั้งเป็นประเทศมา
24So there was very severe hail, and lightning mixed with the hail, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
25สิ่งทั้งปวงที่อยู่ในทุ่งนาทั่วแผ่นดินอียิปต์ ก็ถูกลูกเห็บทำลายเสียสิ้นทั้งคนและสัตว์ ลูกเห็บยังทำลายผักและต้นไม้ทุกอย่างที่อยู่ในทุ่งนาหักโค่นลง
25The hail struck throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and animal; and the hail struck every herb of the field, and broke every tree of the field.
26เว้นแต่ที่แผ่นดินโกเชน ที่ชนชาติอิสราเอลอยู่นั้น หามีลูกเห็บตกไม่
26Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, there was no hail.
27ฟาโรห์จึงทรงใช้คนไปเรียกโมเสสและอาโรนมาเฝ้า แล้วตรัสว่า "ครั้งนี้เราทำบาปแน่แล้ว พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงชอบธรรม เราและชนชาติของเรานั้นก็ชั่ว
27Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, “I have sinned this time. Yahweh is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.
28ขอทูลวิงวอนพระเยโฮวาห์ (เพราะภัยพิบัติเสียที) ให้เลิกมีฟ้าร้องและลูกเห็บ และเราจะปล่อยพวกท่านไป และพวกท่านจะไม่ถูกกักต่อไปอีก"
28Pray to Yahweh; for there has been enough of mighty thunderings and hail. I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.”
29โมเสสทูลฟาโรห์ว่า "ทันทีที่ข้าพระองค์ออกไปจากกรุงนี้แล้วข้าพระองค์จะยกมือทูลพระเยโฮวาห์ เสียงฟ้าร้องก็จะเงียบ และจะไม่มีลูกเห็บตกอีก เพื่อพระองค์จะได้ทราบว่าโลกนี้เป็นของพระเยโฮวาห์
29Moses said to him, “As soon as I have gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands to Yahweh. The thunders shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that you may know that the earth is Yahweh’s.
30แต่ฝ่ายพระองค์และข้าราชการนั้น ข้าพระองค์ทราบว่า พระองค์จะยังไม่ยำเกรงพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้า"
30But as for you and your servants, I know that you don’t yet fear Yahweh God.”
31ต้นป่านและต้นบารลีถูกทำลายเสีย เพราะต้นบารลีก็กำลังออกรวง และต้นป่านก็ออกดอกแล้ว
31The flax and the barley were struck, for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was in bloom.
32ส่วนข้าวสาลีและข้าวสแปลต์นั้นมิได้ถูกทำลาย เพราะยังไม่งอกขึ้น
32But the wheat and the spelt were not struck, for they had not grown up.
33โมเสสทูลลาฟาโรห์ไปจากกรุง และก็ยกมือขึ้นทูลพระเยโฮวาห์ เสียงฟ้าร้องกับลูกเห็บนั้นก็หยุด ฝนก็มิได้ตกบนแผ่นดิน
33Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands to Yahweh; and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured on the earth.
34เมื่อฟาโรห์เห็นว่า ฝน ลูกเห็บและฟ้าร้องนั้นหยุดแล้ว พระองค์ก็กลับทรงกระทำผิดบาปต่อไปอีก พระทัยแข็งกระด้าง ทั้งพระองค์และข้าราชการ
34When Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
35พระทัยของฟาโรห์แข็งกระด้างและไม่ยอมปล่อยชนชาติอิสราเอลไปจริง เหมือนที่พระเยโฮวาห์ได้ตรัสไว้กับโมเสส
35The heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he didn’t let the children of Israel go, just as Yahweh had spoken through Moses.
