¹พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มาถึงข้าพเจ้าว่า

¹The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

²"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย เจ้าจงพยากรณ์กล่าวโทษผู้พยากรณ์ของอิสราเอลที่พยากรณ์ และกล่าวแก่คนเหล่านั้นที่พยากรณ์ตามอำเภอใจของตนว่า `จงฟังพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์'

²Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, Hear the word of Yahweh:

³องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า วิบัติแก่ผู้พยากรณ์โฉดเขลา ผู้ติดตามวิญญาณของตนเอง และไม่เคยได้เห็นอะไรเลย

³Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

⁴โอ อิสราเอลเอ๋ย ผู้พยากรณ์ของเจ้าเหมือนสุนัขจิ้งจอกท่ามกลางสิ่งสลักหักพัง

⁴Israel, your prophets have been like foxes in the waste places.

⁵เจ้าไม่ได้ขึ้นไปถึงที่ชำรุด และไม่ได้สร้างรั้วต้นไม้เพื่อวงศ์วานอิสราเอล เพื่อให้ตั้งอยู่ได้ในสงครามในวันแห่งพระเยโฮวาห์

⁵You have not gone up into the gaps, neither built up the wall for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in the day of Yahweh.

⁶เขาทั้งหลายเห็นนิมิตเท็จและทำนายมุสา เขากล่าวว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า' ในเมื่อพระเยโฮวาห์มิได้ทรงใช้เขาไป เขาทำให้คนอื่นหวังว่าเขาจะรับรองถ้อยคำของเขา

⁶They have seen falsehood and lying divination, who say, Yahweh says; but Yahweh has not sent them: and they have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.

⁷เจ้าได้เคยเห็นนิมิตเท็จ และเคยทำนายมุสามิใช่หรือ ในเมื่อเจ้ากล่าวว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า' ทั้งที่เรามิได้พูดเลย"

⁷Haven’t you seen a false vision, and haven’t you spoken a lying divination, in that you say, Yahweh says; but I have not spoken?

⁸เพราะฉะนั้นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า "เพราะเจ้ากล่าวเท็จและได้เห็นนิมิตมุสา องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสว่า เพราะฉะนั้นดูเถิด เราเป็นปฏิปักษ์กับเจ้า

⁸Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have spoken falsehood, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, says the Lord Yahweh.

⁹มือของเราจะต่อสู้ผู้พยากรณ์ผู้เห็นนิมิตเท็จและผู้ให้คำทำนายมุสา เขาจะไม่ได้เข้าอยู่ในสภาแห่งประชาชนของเรา หรือขึ้นทะเบียนอยู่ในทะเบียนของวงศ์วานอิสราเอล และเขาจะไม่ได้เข้าในแผ่นดินอิสราเอล และเจ้าจะทราบว่าเราคือองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้า

⁹My hand shall be against the prophets who see false visions, and who divine lies: they shall not be in the council of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and you shall know that I am the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁰เพราะว่า เออ เพราะว่าเขาทั้งหลายได้นำประชาชนของเราให้หลง โดยกล่าวว่า `สันติภาพ' เมื่อไม่มีสันติภาพเลย และเพราะว่าเมื่อมีคนสร้างกำแพง ดูเถิด คนอื่นก็ฉาบด้วยปูนขาว

¹⁰Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there is no peace; and when one builds up a wall, behold, they plaster it with whitewash:

¹¹จงกล่าวแก่ผู้ที่ฉาบปูนขาวนั้นว่า กำแพงนั้นจะพัง จะมีฝนตกท่วม และเจ้า ลูกเห็บใหญ่เอ๋ย จะตกลงมา และลมพายุจะฉีกมัน

¹¹tell those who plaster it with whitewash, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and you, great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall tear it.

¹²ดูเถิด เมื่อกำแพงพังลง เขาจะไม่พูดกับท่านหรือว่า `ปูนขาวที่เจ้าได้ฉาบนั้นอยู่ที่ไหนเล่า'

¹²Behold, when the wall has fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the plaster with which you have plastered it?

¹³เพราะฉะนั้นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เราจะกระทำให้ลมพายุฉีกมันด้วยความกริ้วของเรา และด้วยความโกรธของเราจะมีฝนท่วม ด้วยความกริ้วของเราจะมีลูกเห็บใหญ่ทำลายเสีย

¹³Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will even tear it with a stormy wind in my wrath; and there shall be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.

¹⁴และเราจะพังกำแพงซึ่งเจ้าฉาบด้วยปูนขาวนั้น และให้พังลงถึงดิน รากกำแพงนั้นจึงจะปรากฏ เมื่อกำแพงพัง เจ้าทั้งหลายจะพินาศอยู่ที่กลางกำแพง และเจ้าจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์

¹⁴So will I break down the wall that you have plastered with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation shall be uncovered; and it shall fall, and you shall be consumed in its midst: and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

¹⁵เราจะให้ความพิโรธของเราสำเร็จบนกำแพงและบนคนเหล่านั้นที่ฉาบกำแพงด้วยปูนขาว และเราจะพูดกับเจ้าว่า `กำแพงไม่มีอีกแล้ว ผู้ที่ฉาบปูนขาวก็ไม่มีด้วย'

¹⁵Thus will I accomplish my wrath on the wall, and on those who have plastered it with whitewash; and I will tell you, The wall is no more, neither those who plastered it;

¹⁶คือผู้พยากรณ์แห่งอิสราเอลซึ่งพยากรณ์เกี่ยวถึงกรุงเยรูซาเล็มและได้เห็นนิมิตแห่งสันติภาพของเมืองนั้น ในเมื่อไม่มีสันติภาพ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ

¹⁶to wit, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁷เจ้า บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย เจ้าจงมุ่งหน้าต่อสู้บรรดาบุตรสาวแห่งชนชาติของเจ้า ผู้พยากรณ์ตามอำเภอใจของตนเอง จงพยากรณ์กล่าวโทษเขา

¹⁷You, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy against them,

¹⁸และกล่าวว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า วิบัติแห่งหญิงที่เย็บปลอกไสยศาสตร์สำหรับใส่ช่องแขนเสื้อทั้งสิ้น และทำผ้าคลุมศีรษะให้คนทุกขนาดเพื่อล่าวิญญาณ เจ้าจะล่าวิญญาณซึ่งเป็นของประชาชนของเรา และจะรักษาวิญญาณอื่นๆให้คงชีวิตอยู่เพื่อผลกำไรของเจ้าหรือ

¹⁸and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the women who sew pillows on all elbows, and make kerchiefs for the head of persons of every stature to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of my people, and save souls alive for yourselves?

¹⁹เจ้าจะกระทำให้เรามัวหมองท่ามกลางประชาชนของเรา ด้วยเห็นแก่ข้าวบารลีเพียงหลายเป็นกำมือ และขนมปังเพียงหลายชิ้น เพื่อสังหารคนที่ไม่สมควรจะตาย และไว้ชีวิตคนที่ไม่ควรจะมีชีวิตอยู่ โดยการมุสาของเจ้าต่อประชาชนของเราที่ฟังคำมุสานั้น

¹⁹You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die, and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies.

²⁰ด้วยเหตุนี้ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด เราต่อสู้ปลอกไสยศาสตร์ของเจ้า ซึ่งเจ้าใช้ล่าวิญญาณเพื่อให้เขาบินไป และเราจะฉีกปลอกไสยศาสตร์นั้นเสียจากแขนของเจ้าทั้งหลาย และเราจะปล่อยวิญญาณเหล่านั้นไป คือวิญญาณที่เจ้าล่าเพื่อให้เขาบินไป

²⁰Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against your pillows, with which you there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms; and I will let the souls go, even the souls whom you hunt to make them fly.

²¹ผ้าคลุมของเจ้าเราก็จะฉีกเสียด้วย และช่วยประชาชนของเราให้พ้นจากมือของเจ้า และเขาจะไม่เป็นเหยื่อในมือของเจ้าต่อไป และเจ้าจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์

²¹Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

²²เพราะเจ้าได้กระทำให้คนชอบธรรมท้อใจด้วยการมุสา ทั้งที่เราไม่ได้กระทำให้เขาเศร้าใจเลย และเจ้าได้ทำให้มือของคนชั่วแข็งแรงขึ้น เพื่อมิให้เขาหันกลับจากทางชั่วของเขา โดยสัญญาว่าเขาจะได้ชีวิตรอด

²²Because with lies you have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive:

²³เพราะฉะนั้นเจ้าจะไม่ได้เห็นเรื่องเหลวไหลหรือทำนายเหตุการณ์ในอนาคตอีก ด้วยว่าเราจะช่วยประชาชนของเราให้พ้นจากมือของเจ้า แล้วเจ้าจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์"

²³Therefore you shall no more see false visions, nor practice divination. I will deliver my people out of your hand; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
