1เมื่อวันที่สิบเดือนที่สิบปีที่เก้า พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าอีกว่า
1Again, in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
2"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงเขียนชื่อของวันนี้ไว้ วันนี้ทีเดียว กษัตริย์บาบิโลนล้อมเยรูซาเล็มในวันนี้เอง
2Son of man, write the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon drew close to Jerusalem this same day.
3และจงกล่าวคำอุปมาแก่วงศ์วานที่มักกบฏ และพูดกับเขาว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า จงตั้งหม้อไว้ ตั้งไว้ซิ เทน้ำใส่หม้อด้วย
3Utter a parable to the rebellious house, and tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Set on the caldron, set it on, and also pour water into it:
4ใส่ชิ้นเนื้อเข้าไป เอาชิ้นเนื้อดีๆ คือเนื้อโคนขาและเนื้อสันขาหน้า เลือกกระดูกดีมาใส่ให้เต็ม
4gather its pieces into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.
5จงเลือกแกะที่ดีที่สุดมาตัวหนึ่ง ใช้กระดูกเหล่านั้นเป็นฟืนไว้ใต้นั้น จงต้มให้ดี เพื่อเคี่ยวกระดูกที่อยู่ในนั้นด้วย
5Take the choice of the flock, and also a pile of wood for the bones under the caldron; make it boil well; yes, let its bones be boiled in its midst.
6เพราะฉะนั้น องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า วิบัติแก่กรุงที่ชุ่มโลหิต วิบัติแก่หม้อที่ขึ้นสนิมข้างในและซึ่งสนิมมิได้หลุดออกมา จงเอาเนื้อออกทีละชิ้นๆ อย่าจับสลากเลย
6Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the bloody city, to the caldron whose rust is therein, and whose rust is not gone out of it! take out of it piece after piece; No lot is fallen on it.
7เพราะว่าโลหิตที่เธอกระทำให้ตกนั้นยังอยู่ท่ามกลางเธอ เธอวางไว้บนหิน เธอมิได้เทลงดิน เพื่อเอาฝุ่นกลบไว้
7For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it on the bare rock; she didn’t pour it on the ground, to cover it with dust.
8เราได้วางโลหิตที่เธอทำให้ตกนั้นไว้บนก้อนหิน เพื่อมิให้ปิดโลหิตนั้นไว้ เพื่อเร้าความพิโรธ และทำการแก้แค้น
8That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have set her blood on the bare rock, that it should not be covered.
9เพราะฉะนั้น องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า วิบัติแก่กรุงที่ชุ่มโลหิต เราจะกระทำให้กองไฟนั้นใหญ่ขึ้นด้วย
9Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
10จงสุมฟืนเข้าไปและก่อไฟขึ้น ต้มเนื้อให้ดี แล้วปรุงแต่งให้อร่อย และปล่อยกระดูกให้ไหม้
10Heap on the wood, make the fire hot, boil well the flesh, and make thick the broth, and let the bones be burned.
11และวางหม้อเปล่าไว้บนถ่าน เพื่อให้ทองสัมฤทธิ์นั้นร้อนและไหม้ ให้ความโสโครกละลายเสียในนั้น ให้สนิมของมันไหม้ไฟ
11Then set it empty on its coals, that it may be hot, and its brass may burn, and that its filthiness may be molten in it, that its rust may be consumed.
12เธอกระทำตัวของเธอเหนื่อยด้วยการมุสาต่างๆ สนิมที่หนาของเธอก็ไม่หลุดออกไปจากเธอ สนิมนั้นจะต้องอยู่ในไฟ
12She has wearied herself with toil; yet her great rust doesn’t go forth out of her; her rust doesn’t go forth by fire.
13ราคะของเจ้าโสโครก เพราะว่าเราได้ชำระเจ้าแล้ว แต่เจ้าไม่ชำระตัว เจ้าจะไม่ถูกชำระจากความโสโครกของเจ้าอีกต่อไป จนกว่าเราจะระบายความเกรี้ยวกราดของเราออกเหนือเจ้าจนหมด
13In your filthiness is lewdness: because I have cleansed you and you weren’t cleansed, you shall not be cleansed from your filthiness any more, until I have caused my wrath toward you to rest.
14เราคือพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ลั่นวาจาแล้ว จะเป็นไปอย่างนั้น เราจะกระทำเช่นนั้น เราจะไม่ถอยกลับ เราจะไม่สงวนไว้ และเราจะไม่เปลี่ยนใจ เขาจะพิพากษาเจ้าตามวิธีการและการกระทำของเจ้า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ"
14I, Yahweh, have spoken it: it shall happen, and I will do it: I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to your ways, and according to your doings, shall they judge you, says the Lord Yahweh.
15พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าอีกว่า
15Also the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
16"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย ดูเถิด เราจะเอาสิ่งที่พอตาของเจ้าไปเสียจากเจ้าด้วยการประหารเสียแล้ว ถึงกระนั้นเจ้าก็อย่าคร่ำครวญหรือร้องไห้ หรือให้น้ำตาตก
16Son of man, behold, I will take away from you the desire of your eyes with a stroke: yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, neither shall your tears run down.
17จงอดกลั้น ไม่คร่ำครวญเถิด อย่าไว้ทุกข์ให้คนที่ตาย จงโพกผ้าของเจ้า และสวมรองเท้าของเจ้า อย่าปิดริมฝีปากหรือรับประทานอาหารของเขา"
17Sigh, but not aloud, make no mourning for the dead; bind your headdress on you, and put your shoes on your feet, and don’t cover your lips, and don’t eat men’s bread.
18ดังนั้นข้าพเจ้าจึงพูดกับประชาชนตอนเช้า และภรรยาของข้าพเจ้าก็สิ้นชีวิตตอนเย็น รุ่งเช้าขึ้นข้าพเจ้าก็กระทำอย่างที่ข้าพเจ้ารับพระบัญชา
18So I spoke to the people in the morning; and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.
19ประชาชนก็ถามข้าพเจ้าว่า "ท่านจะไม่บอกเราทั้งหลายหรือว่า สิ่งนี้มีความหมายอะไรแก่เรา ซึ่งท่านกระทำเช่นนี้"
19The people said to me, Won’t you tell us what these things are to us, that you do so?
20แล้วข้าพเจ้าก็พูดกับเขาว่า "พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าว่า
20Then I said to them, The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
21จงกล่าวแก่วงศ์วานอิสราเอลว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด เราจะลบหลู่สถานบริสุทธิ์ของเราอันเป็นความล้ำเลิศในอำนาจของเจ้า ความปรารถนาแห่งตาของเจ้า และสิ่งที่จิตวิญญาณของเจ้าห่วงใย บุตรชายหญิงของเจ้าซึ่งเจ้าทิ้งไว้เบื้องหลังจะล้มลงด้วยดาบ
21Speak to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind shall fall by the sword.
22และเจ้าทั้งหลายจะกระทำอย่างที่เรากระทำ เจ้าจะไม่ปิดริมฝีปาก หรือรับประทานอาหารของเขา
22You shall do as I have done: you shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.
23ผ้าโพกจะอยู่บนศีรษะของเจ้า และรองเท้าจะอยู่ที่เท้าของเจ้า เจ้าจะไม่ไว้ทุกข์หรือร้องไห้ แต่เจ้าจะทรุดลงเพราะความชั่วช้าของเจ้า และจะโอดครวญแก่กันและกัน
23Your tires shall be on your heads, and your shoes on your feet: you shall not mourn nor weep; but you shall pine away in your iniquities, and moan one toward another.
24เอเสเคียลจะเป็นเครื่องหมายสำคัญแก่เจ้าทั้งหลาย ดังนี้เขาได้กระทำสิ่งใด เจ้าจะกระทำอย่างนั้นทุกอย่าง เมื่อเหตุการณ์เหล่านี้มาถึง เจ้าจะได้ทราบว่า เราคือองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้า
24Thus Ezekiel shall be a sign to you; according to all that he has done, you will do. When this comes, then you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.
25และเจ้า บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย ในวันที่เราเอาที่กำบังเข้มแข็งของเขาทั้งหลายออกไป อันเป็นความร่าเริงและเป็นสง่าราศีของเขา สิ่งที่พอตาของเขาทั้งหลาย และสิ่งที่ใจของเขาปรารถนา ทั้งบุตรชายและบุตรสาวของเขา
25You, son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their heart, their sons and their daughters,
26ในวันนั้น ผู้หนีภัยจะมาหาเจ้า เพื่อจะรายงานข่าวให้เจ้าได้ยินเอง
26that in that day he who escapes shall come to you, to cause you to hear it with your ears?
27ในวันนั้น ปากของเจ้าจะหายใบ้ต่อหน้าผู้หนีภัย และเจ้าจะพูดและจะไม่เป็นใบ้อีกต่อไป ดังนั้นเจ้าจะเป็นหมายสำคัญสำหรับเขา และเขาทั้งหลายจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์"
27In that day your mouth will be opened to him who has escaped, and you shall speak, and be no more mute: so you will be a sign to them; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
