¹พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าอีกว่า

¹The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

²"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย มุ่งหน้าของเจ้าไปยังคนอัมโมน และจงพยากรณ์กล่าวโทษเขา

²Son of man, set your face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them:

³จงกล่าวแก่คนอัมโมนว่า จงฟังพระวจนะขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เพราะเจ้ากล่าวว่า `อ้าฮา' เหนือสถานบริสุทธิ์ของเราเมื่อที่นั้นถูกลบหลู่ และเหนือแผ่นดินอิสราเอลเมื่อแผ่นดินนั้นรกร้างไป และเหนือวงศ์วานยูดาห์เมื่อต้องตกไปเป็นเชลย

³and tell the children of Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Because you said, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity:

⁴เพราะฉะนั้น ดูเถิด เราจะมอบเจ้าให้แก่ประชาชนทางทิศตะวันออกให้เป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ เขาจะตั้งปราสาททั้งหลายท่ามกลางเจ้า และสร้างที่อยู่ของเขาท่ามกลางเจ้า เขาทั้งหลายจะรับประทานผลไม้ของเจ้า และจะดื่มน้ำนมของเจ้า

⁴therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession, and they shall set their encampments in you, and make their dwellings in you; they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk.

⁵เราจะกระทำให้เมืองรับบาห์เป็นทุ่งหญ้าสำหรับอูฐ และทำให้ที่ของคนอัมโมนเป็นคอกสำหรับฝูงแพะแกะ แล้วเจ้าจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์

⁵I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks: and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

⁶เพราะองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เพราะเจ้าได้ตบมือและกระทืบเท้าและปีติด้วยใจคิดร้ายต่อแผ่นดินอิสราเอล

⁶For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have clapped your hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the despite of your soul against the land of Israel;

⁷เพราะฉะนั้น ดูเถิด เราได้ยื่นมือของเราออกต่อสู้เจ้า และจะมอบเจ้าไว้แก่ประชาชนทั้งหลายให้เป็นของริบ และเราจะตัดเจ้าออกเสียจากชนชาติทั้งหลาย และเราจะกระทำให้เจ้าพินาศไปจากประเทศต่างๆ เราจะทำลายเจ้า แล้วเจ้าจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์

⁷therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries: I will destroy you; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

⁸องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เพราะโมอับและเสอีร์กล่าวว่า `ดูเถิด วงศ์วานยูดาห์ก็เหมือนประชาชาติอื่นๆทั้งสิ้น'

⁸Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because Moab and Seir say, Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations;

⁹เพราะฉะนั้น ดูเถิด เราจะเปิดไหล่เขาโมอับจนไม่มีเมืองเหลือ คือเมืองของเขาจากด้านนั้น สง่าราศีของประเทศนั้น คือเมืองเบธเยชิโมท เมืองบาอัลเมโอนและเมืองคีริยาธาอิม

⁹therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim,

¹⁰เราจะมอบเมืองเหล่านั้นให้แก่ประชาชนทางทิศตะวันออกพร้อมกับคนอัมโมนให้เป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ เพื่อว่าจะไม่มีใครนึกถึงคนอัมโมนอีกในท่ามกลางประชาชาติ

¹⁰to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.

¹¹และเราจะพิพากษาลงโทษโมอับ แล้วเขาทั้งหลายจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์

¹¹and I will execute judgments on Moab; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.

¹²องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เพราะว่าเอโดมได้ประพฤติอย่างแก้แค้นต่อวงศ์วานของยูดาห์ และได้กระทำความชั่วนักหนาในการที่แก้แค้นเขา

¹²Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and revenged himself on them;

¹³เพราะฉะนั้น องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าจึงตรัสดังนี้ว่า เราจะเหยียดมือของเราออกเหนือเอโดมด้วย และจะตัดคนและสัตว์ออกเสียจากเมืองนั้น และเราจะกระทำให้เมืองนั้นรกร้างตั้งแต่เมืองเทมาน และชาวเมืองเดดานก็จะล้มลงด้วยดาบ

¹³therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; even to Dedan shall they fall by the sword.

¹⁴และเราจะวางการแก้แค้นของเราลงเหนือเมืองเอโดมด้วยมือของอิสราเอลประชาชนของเรา และเขาจะกระทำตามความกริ้วและความพิโรธของเราในเมืองเอโดม และเขาจะทราบถึงการแก้แค้นของเรา องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ

¹⁴I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath; and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁵องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เพราะว่าคนฟีลิสเตียได้กระทำอย่างแก้แค้น และทำการแก้แค้นด้วยใจคิดร้ายหมายทำลาย เพราะเกลียดชังแต่หนหลัง

¹⁵Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul to destroy with perpetual enmity;

¹⁶เพราะฉะนั้นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด เราจะเหยียดมือของเราออกเหนือคนฟีลิสเตีย และเราจะตัดคนเคเรธีออก และทำลายคนที่เหลืออยู่ตามฝั่งทะเลนั้นเสีย

¹⁶therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

¹⁷เราจะกระทำการแก้แค้นใหญ่ยิ่งเหนือเขาด้วยการติเตียนอย่างรุนแรง แล้วเขาจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์ เมื่อเราได้วางการแก้แค้นของเราไว้เหนือเขา"

¹⁷I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I shall lay my vengeance on them.
