¹ต่อมาเมื่อวันที่หนึ่ง เดือนที่สิบสอง ในปีที่สิบสอง พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าว่า

¹It happened in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

²"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงเปล่งเสียงบทคร่ำครวญเรื่องฟาโรห์กษัตริย์แห่งอียิปต์ และกล่าวให้ท่านฟังดังนี้ว่า ท่านเหมือนสิงโตหนุ่มท่ามกลางประชาชาติ แต่ท่านเป็นเหมือนปลาวาฬในทะเลทั้งหลาย ท่านเผ่นออกมาในแม่น้ำทั้งหลายของท่าน เอาเท้าของท่านกวนน้ำและกระทำแม่น้ำของมันให้มลทินไป

²Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and tell him, You were likened to a young lion of the nations: yet you are as a monster in the seas; and you broke out with your rivers, and troubled the waters with your feet, and fouled their rivers.

³องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เราจะกางข่ายของเราคลุมท่านโดยกองทัพชนชาติทั้งหลายเป็นอันมาก และเขาเหล่านั้นจะลากท่านขึ้นมาด้วยอวนของเรา

³Thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will spread out my net on you with a company of many peoples; and they shall bring you up in my net.

⁴และเราจะเหวี่ยงท่านลงบนดิน และเราจะฟัดท่านลงบนพื้นทุ่ง และจะกระทำให้นกทั้งสิ้นในอากาศมาจับอยู่บนท่าน และเราจะให้ท่านเป็นอาหารอิ่มออกของสัตว์ทั่วทั้งโลก

⁴I will leave you on the land, I will cast you forth on the open field, and will cause all the birds of the sky to settle on you, and I will satisfy the animals of the whole earth with you.

⁵เราจะเอาเนื้อของท่านเกลี่ยไว้บนภูเขา และถมหุบเขาด้วยศพของท่าน

⁵I will lay your flesh on the mountains, and fill the valleys with your height.

⁶เราจะให้แผ่นดินถึงแม้ภูเขาชุ่มโชกด้วยเลือดกำลังไหลของท่าน และห้วยจะเต็มไปด้วยท่าน

⁶I will also water with your blood the land in which you swim, even to the mountains; and the watercourses shall be full of you.

⁷เมื่อเราดับท่าน เราจะคลุมฟ้าสวรรค์ไว้ และกระทำให้ดวงดาวมืดไป เราจะเอาเมฆบังดวงอาทิตย์ และดวงจันทร์จะไม่ทอแสง

⁷When I shall extinguish you, I will cover the heavens, and make its stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give its light.

⁸แสงสุกใสทั้งสิ้นแห่งสวรรค์นั้นเราจะกระทำให้มืดอยู่เหนือท่าน และวางความมืดไว้เหนือแผ่นดินของท่าน องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ

⁸All the bright lights of the sky will I make dark over you, and set darkness on your land, says the Lord Yahweh.

⁹เมื่อเราทำลายท่านท่ามกลางประชาชาติในประเทศซึ่งท่านไม่รู้จักนั้น เราจะกระทำให้จิตใจของชนชาติทั้งหลายเป็นอันมากลำบาก

⁹I will also trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I shall bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.

¹⁰เออ เมื่อเราแกว่งดาบของเราต่อหน้าเขาทั้งหลาย เราจะกระทำให้ชนชาติทั้งหลายเป็นอันมากแลตะลึงที่ท่าน และกษัตริย์ของเขาทั้งหลายจะสะทกสะท้านเพราะท่าน ในวันที่ท่านล้มลงนั้น เขาทั้งหลายจะตัวสั่นทุกขณะจิตทั่วกันเพราะห่วงชีวิตของตนเอง

¹⁰Yes, I will make many peoples amazed at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for you, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your fall.

¹¹เพราะองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดาบของกษัตริย์แห่งบาบิโลนจะมาเหนือท่าน

¹¹For thus says the Lord Yahweh: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come on you.

¹²เราจะทำให้หมู่นิกรของท่านล้มลงด้วยดาบของผู้มีกำลัง ทุกคนก็ล้วนเป็นที่ทารุณที่สุดในบรรดาประชาชาติ เขาจะนำความทะเยอทะยานของอียิปต์ให้มาถึงที่สิ้นสุด และหมู่นิกรทั้งสิ้นของมันจะพินาศ

¹²By the swords of the mighty will I cause your multitude to fall; the terrible of the nations are they all: and they shall bring to nothing the pride of Egypt, and all its multitude shall be destroyed.

¹³เราจะทำลายสัตว์ของเมืองนั้นทั้งสิ้น จากข้างน้ำมากหลายและไม่มีเท้ามนุษย์คนใดกระทำให้น้ำนั้นขุ่นอีก กีบสัตว์ก็จะไม่กระทำให้น้ำนั้นขุ่นอีกเช่นกัน

¹³I will destroy also all its animals from beside many waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of animals trouble them.

¹⁴แล้วเราจะทำให้น้ำของเขาทั้งหลายลึก และกระทำให้แม่น้ำทั้งหลายของเขาไหลไปเหมือนน้ำมันไหล องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ

¹⁴Then will I make their waters clear, and cause their rivers to run like oil, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁵เมื่อเรากระทำให้แผ่นดินอียิปต์รกร้าง และประเทศนั้นจะขาดสิ่งที่เคยอุดมสมบูรณ์ เมื่อเราฟาดฟันคนทั้งปวงที่อาศัยอยู่ในประเทศนั้น แล้วเขาทั้งหลายจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์

¹⁵When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate and waste, a land destitute of that of which it was full, when I shall strike all those who dwell therein, then shall they know that I am Yahweh.

¹⁶นี่เป็นบทคร่ำครวญที่จะร้องคร่ำครวญ เหล่าธิดาแห่งประชาชาติจะร้องบทนั้น เขาจะร้องเรื่องอียิปต์และหมู่นิกรของอียิปต์ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ"

¹⁶This is the lamentation with which they shall lament; the daughters of the nations shall lament therewith; over Egypt, and over all her multitude, shall they lament therewith, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁷ต่อมาเมื่อวันที่สิบห้า เดือนที่สิบสอง ในปีที่สิบสอง พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าว่า

¹⁷It happened also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

¹⁸"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงพิลาปร่ำไห้เพื่อคนเป็นอันมากของอียิปต์ และจงส่งเขาลงไป ทั้งตัวเขาและเหล่าธิดาแห่งประชาชาติที่โอ่อ่าไปยังโลกบาดาล ไปยังบรรดาคนเหล่านั้นที่ไปยังปากแดนคนตายแล้ว

¹⁸Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, to the lower parts of the earth, with those who go down into the pit.

¹⁹ในเรื่องความงาม ท่านงามล้ำกว่าผู้ใดๆหรือ จงลงไป ไปนอนกับผู้ที่ไม่ได้เข้าสุหนัต

¹⁹Whom do you pass in beauty? Go down, and be laid with the uncircumcised.

²⁰เขาทั้งหลายจะล้มลงกลางบรรดาผู้ที่ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ มีดาบกำหนดไว้แล้ว จงลากอียิปต์ไปเสียพร้อมกับหมู่นิกรทั้งสิ้นของเขา

²⁰They shall fall in the midst of those who are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword; draw her away and all her multitudes.

²¹เหล่าชายฉกรรจ์ในบรรดาผู้ที่แกล้วกล้าจะพูดเรื่องของเขากับผู้ช่วยของเขาจากกลางนรกว่า `เขาได้ลงมาแล้ว เขานอนอยู่ คือคนที่ไม่ได้เข้าสุหนัต ที่ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ'

²¹The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of Sheol Sheol is the place of the dead. with those who help him: they are gone down, they lie still, even the uncircumcised, slain by the sword.

²²อัสซูรก็อยู่ที่นั่นรวมทั้งคณะ มีหลุมศพอยู่รอบตัว ทุกคนถูกฆ่าและล้มลงด้วยดาบ

²²Asshur is there and all her company; her graves are all around her; all of them slain, fallen by the sword;

²³ที่ฝังศพของคนเหล่านี้อยู่ที่แดนมรณาส่วนที่ไกลที่สุด และคณะของเธอก็อยู่รอบหลุมฝังศพของเธอ ทุกคนถูกฆ่า ล้มลงด้วยดาบ เป็นพวกที่ให้เกิดความครั่นคร้ามในแผ่นดินของคนเป็น

²³whose graves are set in the uttermost parts of the pit, and her company is around her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who caused terror in the land of the living.

²⁴เอลามก็อยู่ที่นั่น ทั้งหมู่นิกรทั้งสิ้นก็อยู่รอบหลุมศพของเธอ ทุกคนถูกฆ่า และล้มลงด้วยดาบ ผู้ลงไปสู่โลกบาดาลโดยไม่เข้าสุหนัต เป็นพวกที่ให้เกิดความครั่นคร้ามในแผ่นดินของคนเป็น และเขาต้องทนรับความอับอายขายหน้ากับผู้ที่ลงไปปากแดนคนตาย

²⁴There is Elam and all her multitude around her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who are gone down uncircumcised into the lower parts of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living, and have borne their shame with those who go down to the pit.

²⁵เขาได้ทำที่ให้เธอนอนในหมู่พวกผู้ที่ถูกฆ่าพร้อมกับหมู่นิกรทั้งสิ้นของเธอ มีหลุมศพอยู่รอบตัว เป็นผู้ที่ไม่ได้เข้าสุหนัตทุกคน ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ เพราะว่าเขาให้เกิดความครั่นคร้ามในแผ่นดินของคนเป็น และเขาต้องทนรับความอับอายขายหน้ากับผู้ที่ลงไปยังปากแดนคนตาย เขามีที่อยู่ในหมู่พวกผู้ถูกฆ่า

²⁵They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude; her graves are around her; all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; for their terror was caused in the land of the living, and they have borne their shame with those who go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of those who are slain.

²⁶เมเชคกับทูบัลก็อยู่ที่นั่น ทั้งหมู่นิกรทั้งสิ้นของเธอ หลุมศพของเธอทั้งสองอยู่รอบเขา เป็นผู้ที่ไม่เข้าสุหนัตทุกคน ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ เพราะเขาให้เกิดความครั่นคร้ามในแผ่นดินของคนเป็น

²⁶There is Meshech, Tubal, and all their multitude; their graves are around them; all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; for they caused their terror in the land of the living.

²⁷เขาทั้งหลายจะไม่ได้นอนอยู่กับผู้แกล้วกล้าในจำพวกที่ไม่ได้เข้าสุหนัตที่ได้ล้มลง ลงไปยังนรกพร้อมกับยุทโธปกรณ์ของเขา ผู้ซึ่งมีดาบวางไว้ใต้ศีรษะของเขา และความชั่วช้าก็อยู่บนกระดูกของเขา เพราะว่าเขาให้ผู้แกล้วกล้าครั่นคร้ามอยู่ในแผ่นดินของคนเป็น

²⁷They shall not lie with the mighty who are fallen of the uncircumcised, who are gone down to Sheol with their weapons of war, and have laid their swords under their heads, and their iniquities are on their bones; for they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.

²⁸ดังนั้นท่านจะต้องถูกหักในหมู่พวกผู้ที่ไม่ได้เข้าสุหนัต และนอนอยู่กับคนเหล่านั้นที่ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ

²⁸But you shall be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shall lie with those who are slain by the sword.

²⁹เอโดมก็อยู่ที่นั่น คือบรรดากษัตริย์และบรรดาเจ้านายทั้งหลายของเธอ แม้ว่าเขาทั้งหลายมีอานุภาพ เขายังถูกนำมาวางไว้กับบรรดาคนเหล่านั้นที่ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ เขาจะนอนอยู่กับผู้ที่ไม่ได้เข้าสุหนัต กับบรรดาคนที่ได้ลงไปยังปากแดนคนตาย

²⁹There is Edom, her kings and all her princes, who in their might are laid with those who are slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with those who go down to the pit.

³⁰เจ้านายจากทิศเหนือก็อยู่ที่นั่นอยู่กันหมด คนไซดอนทั้งหมด ผู้ที่ลงไปด้วยความอายพร้อมกับผู้ที่ถูกฆ่า เพราะเหตุความครั่นคร้ามทั้งสิ้นซึ่งเขาได้กระทำขึ้นด้วยกำลังของเขา เขานอนอยู่ที่นั่นไม่เข้าสุหนัตพร้อมกับผู้ที่ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ และทนรับความอับอายขายหน้ากับบรรดาผู้ที่ลงไปยังปากแดนคนตาย

³⁰There are the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Sidonians, who are gone down with the slain; in the terror which they caused by their might they are put to shame; and they lie uncircumcised with those who are slain by the sword, and bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.

³¹องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสว่า เมื่อฟาโรห์เห็นพวกเหล่านั้นแล้ว ท่านก็จะเบาใจในเรื่องหมู่นิกรทั้งสิ้นของท่าน ฟาโรห์และหมู่นิกรทั้งสิ้นของท่านถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ

³¹Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army, slain by the sword, says the Lord Yahweh.

³²เพราะเราได้ให้เกิดความครั่นคร้ามในแผ่นดินของคนเป็น เพราะฉะนั้นเขาจะถูกวางไว้ท่ามกลางผู้ไม่เข้าสุหนัต พร้อมกับผู้เหล่านั้นที่ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ ทั้งฟาโรห์และหมู่นิกรทั้งสิ้นของท่าน องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ"

³²For I have put his terror in the land of the living; and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised, with those who are slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord Yahweh.
