¹คำอธิษฐานของฮาบากุกผู้พยากรณ์ ตามทำนองชิกกาโยน

¹A prayer of Habakkuk, the prophet, set to victorious music.

²ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ข้าพระองค์ได้ยินกิตติศัพท์ของพระองค์ แล้วข้าพระองค์ยำเกรง ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ พอถึงกลางยุคขอทรงรื้อฟื้นพระราชกิจของพระองค์ขึ้นใหม่ พอถึงกลางยุคขอทรงแจ้งให้ทราบทั่วกัน เมื่อทรงกริ้ว ขอทรงระลึกถึงความกรุณา

²Yahweh, I have heard of your fame. I stand in awe of your deeds, Yahweh. Renew your work in the midst of the years. In the midst of the years make it known. In wrath, you remember mercy.

³พระเจ้าเสด็จจากเทมาน องค์บริสุทธิ์เสด็จจากภูเขาปาราน เซลาห์ สง่าราศีของพระองค์คลุมทั่วฟ้าสวรรค์ และโลกก็เต็มด้วยคำสรรเสริญพระองค์

³God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and his praise filled the earth.

⁴ความผ่องใสของพระองค์ดังแสงสว่าง มีเขาออกมาจากพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์ พระองค์ทรงกำบังฤทธานุภาพของพระองค์เสียที่นั่น

⁴His splendor is like the sunrise. Rays shine from his hand, where his power is hidden.

⁵โรคระบาดเดินนำหน้าพระองค์ ถ่านที่ไหม้อยู่มาชิดตามหลังพระบาทของพระองค์

⁵Plague went before him, and pestilence followed his feet.

⁶พระองค์ประทับยืนและทรงวัดพิภพ พระองค์ทอดพระเนตรและทรงเขย่าประชาชาติ แล้วภูเขานิรันดรกาลก็กระจัดกระจาย และเนินเขาอันอยู่เนืองนิตย์ก็ยุบต่ำลง การเสด็จของพระองค์ก็เป็นดังดั้งเดิม

⁶He stood, and shook the earth. He looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains were crumbled. The age-old hills collapsed. His ways are eternal.

⁷ข้าพเจ้าได้เห็นเต็นท์ของคนคูชันอยู่ในสภาพทุกข์ใจ และม่านแห่งแผ่นดินมีเดียนหวั่นไหว

⁷I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction. The dwellings of the land of Midian trembled.

⁸ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ พระองค์ทรงพระพิโรธต่อแม่น้ำหรือ พระองค์ทรงกริ้วต่อแม่น้ำหรือ หรือว่าพระองค์ทรงโกรธทะเลเมื่อพระองค์เสด็จทรงม้า เมื่อทรงรถรบแห่งความรอด

⁸Was Yahweh displeased with the rivers? Was your anger against the rivers, or your wrath against the sea, that you rode on your horses, on your chariots of salvation?

⁹คันธนูของพระองค์ก็ถูกเปิดออกจนเปลือยเปล่าทีเดียว ตามคำสัตย์ปฏิญาณของเหล่าตระกูลคือพระดำรัสของพระองค์ เซเลห์ พระองค์ทรงแยกพิภพด้วยแม่น้ำทั้งหลาย

⁹You uncovered your bow. You called for your sworn arrows. Selah. You split the earth with rivers.

¹⁰บรรดาภูเขาเห็นพระองค์ก็บิดเบี้ยวไป กระแสน้ำที่ดุเดือดก็กวาดผ่านไป มหาสมุทรก็ส่งเสียง มันยกมือของมันขึ้นเบื้องสูง

¹⁰The mountains saw you, and were afraid. The storm of waters passed by. The deep roared and lifted up its hands on high.

¹¹ดวงอาทิตย์และดวงจันทร์นิ่งเฉยอยู่ในที่ของมัน เมื่อแสงแห่งลูกธนูของพระองค์พุ่งผ่านไป เมื่อแสงแห่งหอกอันวาววับของพระองค์พุ่งไป

¹¹The sun and moon stood still in the sky, at the light of your arrows as they went, at the shining of your glittering spear.

¹²พระองค์เสด็จไปเหนือพิภพด้วยความโกรธา พระองค์ทรงเหยียบย่ำประชาชาติด้วยความกริ้ว

¹²You marched through the land in wrath. You threshed the nations in anger.

¹³พระองค์เสด็จออกไปเพื่อช่วยประชาชนของพระองค์ให้รอด เพื่อช่วยผู้ที่พระองค์ทรงเจิมไว้ให้รอด พระองค์ทรงทำให้ศีรษะแห่งเรือนของคนชั่วได้รับบาดเจ็บ โดยการเผยให้เห็นตั้งแต่รากฐานถึงช่วงคอ เซลาห์

¹³You went forth for the salvation of your people, for the salvation of your anointed. You crushed the head of the land of wickedness. You stripped them head to foot. Selah.

¹⁴พระองค์ทรงแทงหัวหน้าหมู่บ้านของเขาด้วยหอกของพระองค์ ผู้มาอย่างลมบ้าหมูเพื่อจะกระจายข้าพเจ้าเสีย เขาจะเปรมปรีดิ์ดังว่าจะกินคนจนเสียเป็นความลับ

¹⁴You pierced the heads of his warriors with their own spears. They came as a whirlwind to scatter me, gloating as if to devour the wretched in secret.

¹⁵พระองค์ทรงเหยียบย่ำทะเลด้วยม้าของพระองค์ คือน้ำมากหลายซึ่งเดือดพลุ่ง

¹⁵You trampled the sea with your horses, churning mighty waters.

¹⁶เมื่อข้าพเจ้าได้ยินแล้ว ท้องของข้าพเจ้าก็สะเทือน พอได้ยินเสียง ริมฝีปากของข้าพเจ้าก็สั่น กระดูกของข้าพเจ้าก็ผุพัง และข้าพเจ้าก็สะเทือนอยู่ในตัวข้าพเจ้า เพื่อข้าพเจ้าจะพักอยู่ในวันแห่งความลำบาก เมื่อเขามาถึงประชาชน เขาจะบุกรุกด้วยกองทหารของตน

¹⁶I heard, and my body trembled. My lips quivered at the voice. Rottenness enters into my bones, and I tremble in my place, because I must wait quietly for the day of trouble, for the coming up of the people who invade us.

¹⁷แม้ต้นมะเดื่อจะไม่มีดอกบาน หรือจะไม่มีผลในเถาองุ่น การตรากตรำกับต้นมะกอกเทศก็สูญเปล่า ทุ่งนาจะมิได้เกิดอาหาร ฝูงสัตว์จะขาดไปจากคอก และจะไม่มีฝูงวัวที่ในโรงนา

¹⁷For though the fig tree doesn’t flourish, nor fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive fails, the fields yield no food; the flocks are cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls:

¹⁸ถึงกระนั้นข้าพเจ้าจะร่างเริงในพระเยโฮวาห์ ข้าพเจ้าจะเปรมปรีดิ์ในพระเจ้าแห่งความรอดของข้าพเจ้า

¹⁸yet I will rejoice in Yahweh. I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!

¹⁹พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าทรงเป็นกำลังของข้าพเจ้า พระองค์จะทรงกระทำเท้าของข้าพเจ้าเหมือนอย่างตีนกลางตัวเมีย พระองค์จะทรงกระทำให้ข้าพเจ้าเดินไปบนที่สูงทั้งหลายของข้าพเจ้า ถึงหัวหน้านักร้องใช้เครื่องสาย

¹⁹Yahweh, the Lord The word translated “Lord” is “Adonai.” , is my strength. He makes my feet like deer’s feet, and enables me to go in high places. For the music director, on my stringed instruments.
