1ฟังข้อนี้ซิ โอ วงศ์วานของยาโคบเอ๋ย ผู้ซึ่งเขาเรียกด้วยนามของอิสราเอล และผู้ซึ่งออกมาจากน้ำทั้งหลายของยูดาห์ ผู้ซึ่งปฏิญาณในพระนามของพระเยโฮวาห์ และกล่าวถึงพระเจ้าของอิสราเอล แต่มิใช่ด้วยสัจจะและความชอบธรรม
1“Hear this, house of Jacob, you who are called by the name of Israel, and have come forth out of the waters of Judah; who swear by the name of Yahweh, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness
2เพราะเขาขนานนามของเขาเองตามนครบริสุทธิ์ และพึ่งอาศัยพระเจ้าของอิสราเอล พระนามของพระองค์ว่าพระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธา
2(for they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves on the God of Israel; Yahweh of Armies is his name):
3"สิ่งล่วงแล้วเราได้แจ้งให้ทราบแต่เก่าก่อน เออ มันไปจากปากของเรา และเราได้เล่าให้ฟังทั่วแล้ว ในทันใดนั้นเราก็ได้กระทำและก็เป็นไปตามนั้น
3I have declared the former things from of old; yes, they went forth out of my mouth, and I showed them: suddenly I did them, and they happened.
4เพราะเรารู้อยู่ว่าเจ้าดื้อด้านและคอของเจ้าก็คือเอ็นเหล็ก และหน้าผากของเจ้าเป็นทองสัมฤทธิ์
4Because I knew that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew, and your brow brass;
5เราก็แจ้งเรื่องเหล่านั้นแก่เจ้าให้ทราบตั้งแต่เก่าก่อน ก่อนที่มันจะเกิดขึ้นเราก็ได้ว่าให้เจ้าฟังแล้ว เกรงเจ้าจะว่า `รูปเคารพของข้ากระทำเอง รูปเคารพสลักและรูปเคารพหล่อของข้าบัญชามันมา'
5therefore I have declared it to you from of old; before it came to pass I showed it to you; lest you should say, ‘My idol has done them, and my engraved image, and my molten image, has commanded them.’
6เจ้าได้ยินแล้ว จงคอยดูสิ่งทั้งปวงนี้ และเจ้าจะไม่แจ้งให้ทราบหรือ ตั้งแต่เวลานี้ไปเราเล่าสิ่งใหม่ให้เจ้าฟัง เป็นสิ่งที่ปิดซ่อนไว้ซึ่งเจ้าไม่รู้
6You have heard it; see all this; and you, will you not declare it? “I have shown you new things from this time, even hidden things, which you have not known.
7เป็นสิ่งที่สร้างขึ้นใหม่ ไม่ใช่ตั้งแต่เก่าก่อน ก่อนวันนี้เจ้าไม่เคยได้ยินถึง เกรงเจ้าจะพูดว่า `ดูเถิด เรารู้แล้ว'
7They are created now, and not from of old; and before this day you didn’t hear them; lest you should say, ‘Behold, I knew them.’
8เออ เจ้าไม่เคยได้ยิน เออ เจ้าไม่เคยรู้ เออ ตั้งแต่เวลานั้นหูของเจ้ายังไม่เปิด เพราะเรารู้ว่าเจ้าจะประพฤติอย่างทรยศหนัก และรู้ว่า ตั้งแต่กำเนิดเขาเรียกเจ้าว่า ผู้ละเมิด
8Yes, you didn’t hear; yes, you didn’t know; yes, from of old your ear was not opened: for I knew that you dealt very treacherously, and was called a transgressor from the womb.
9เพราะเห็นแก่นามของเรา เราจะหน่วงเหนี่ยวความกริ้วของเราไว้ เพราะเห็นแก่ความสรรเสริญของเรา เราจะระงับไว้เพื่อเจ้า เพื่อเราจะมิได้ตัดเจ้าออกไปเสีย
9For my name’s sake will I defer my anger, and for my praise will I refrain for you, that I not cut you off.
10ดูเถิด เราได้ถลุงเจ้าแล้ว แต่ไม่ใช่ด้วยเงิน เราได้เลือกสรรเจ้าในเตาของความทุกข์ใจ
10Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.
11เราจะกระทำเช่นนั้นเพราะเห็นแก่เราเอง เพราะเห็นแก่เราเอง เพราะว่านามของเราจะถูกเหยียดหยามอย่างไรได้ สง่าราศีของเรา เราจะไม่ให้ใครอื่น
11For my own sake, for my own sake, will I do it; for how should my name be profaned? I will not give my glory to another.
12ฟังเราซิ โอ ยาโคบเอ๋ย และอิสราเอล ผู้ซึ่งเราเรียก เราคือพระองค์ทีเดียว เราเป็นต้นและเราเป็นปลายด้วย
12“Listen to me, O Jacob, and Israel my called: I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
13เออ มือของเราได้วางรากฐานแผ่นดินโลก และมือขวาของเราได้กางฟ้าสวรรค์ออก เมื่อเราเรียกมัน มันก็ออกมาอยู่ด้วยกัน
13Yes, my hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spread out the heavens: when I call to them, they stand up together.
14เจ้าทั้งปวง จงชุมนุมกันและคอยฟัง ผู้ใดในท่ามกลางพวกนั้นได้ประกาศสิ่งเหล่านี้ พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงรักท่าน ท่านจะกระทำตามพระทัยของพระองค์ต่อบาบิโลน และพระกรของพระองค์จะต่อสู้กับชาวเคลเดีย
14“Assemble yourselves, all you, and hear; who among them has declared these things? He whom Yahweh loves shall perform his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
15เรา นี่เราเองได้พูด เออ เราได้เรียกท่าน เราได้นำท่านมา และท่านจะจำเริญในทางของท่าน
15I, even I, have spoken; yes, I have called him; I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.
16จงเข้ามาใกล้เรา ฟังเรื่องนี้ ตั้งแต่เริ่มต้นเรามิได้พูดในที่ลี้ลับ ตั้งแต่มันเกิดมา เราก็ได้อยู่ที่นั่นแล้ว" และบัดนี้ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าและพระวิญญาณของพระองค์ได้ทรงใช้ข้าพเจ้ามา
16“Come near to me and hear this: “From the beginning I have not spoken in secret; from the time that it was, there am I.” Now the Lord Yahweh has sent me, with his Spirit.
17พระเยโฮวาห์ ผู้ไถ่ของเจ้า องค์บริสุทธิ์ของอิสราเอล ตรัสดังนี้ว่า "เราคือพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเจ้า ผู้สั่งสอนเจ้าเพื่อประโยชน์ของเจ้า ผู้นำเจ้าในทางที่ควรเจ้าจะไป
17Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am Yahweh your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.
18โอ ถ้าเจ้าได้เชื่อฟังบัญญัติของเราแล้ว ความสุขสมบูรณ์ของเจ้าจะเป็นเหมือนแม่น้ำ และความชอบธรรมของเจ้าจะเป็นเหมือนคลื่นทะเล
18Oh that you had listened to my commandments! then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea:
19เชื้อสายของเจ้าจะเป็นเหมือนทรายเช่นกัน และลูกหลานจากบั้นเอวของเจ้าเหมือนเม็ดทราย ชื่อของเขาจะไม่ถูกตัดออกเลย หรือถูกทำลายเสียจากหน้าเรา"
19your seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of your body like its grains: his name would not be cut off nor destroyed from before me.
20จงไปเสียจากบาบิโลน จงหนีออกจากคนเคลเดีย จงประกาศข้อนี้ด้วยเสียงร้องเพลง จงเล่าให้ฟัง จงส่งออกไปถึงสุดปลายแผ่นดินโลก ว่า "พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงไถ่ยาโคบผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์แล้ว"
20Go forth from Babylon, flee from the Chaldeans; with a voice of singing declare, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth: say, Yahweh has redeemed his servant Jacob.
21เมื่อพระองค์ทรงนำเขาทั้งหลายไปทางทะเลทราย เขาก็มิได้กระหาย พระองค์ทรงกระทำให้น้ำไหลจากศิลาเพื่อเขา พระองค์ทรงผ่าหินและน้ำก็ทะลักออกมา
21They didn’t thirst when he led them through the deserts; he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them; he split the rock also, and the waters gushed out.
22พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "ไม่มีสันติสุข แก่คนชั่ว"
22“There is no peace,” says Yahweh, “for the wicked.”
