¹แล้วโยบตอบว่า

¹Then Job answered,

²"ท่านได้ช่วยผู้ไม่มีกำลังมากจริงหนอ ท่านได้ช่วยแขนที่ไม่มีแรงแล้วหนอ

²“How have you helped him who is without power! How have you saved the arm that has no strength!

³ท่านให้คำปรึกษาแก่คนที่ไม่มีสติปัญญา และได้ให้ความรู้มากที่สัมฤทธิ์ผล จริงหนอ

³How have you counseled him who has no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge!

⁴ท่านเปล่งวาจาออกมาแก่ใครเล่า และวิญญาณของใครได้ออกมาจากท่าน

⁴To whom have you uttered words? Whose spirit came forth from you?

⁵ชาวแดนคนตายเบื้องล่างสะทกสะท้านใต้น้ำและชาวน้ำนั้น

⁵“Those who are deceased tremble, those beneath the waters and all that live in them.

⁶นรกเปลือยอยู่ต่อพระพักตร์พระเจ้า และแดนพินาศไม่มีผ้าห่ม

⁶ Sheol Sheol is the lower world or the grave. is naked before God, and Abaddon Abaddon means Destroyer. has no covering.

⁷พระองค์ทรงคลี่ทางเหนือออกคลุมที่เวิ้งว้าง และแขวนโลกไว้เหนือที่ว่างเปล่า

⁷He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing.

⁸พระองค์ทรงมัดน้ำไว้ในเมฆทึบของพระองค์ และเมฆนั้นก็ไม่ขาดวิ่นไป

⁸He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not burst under them.

⁹พระองค์ทรงคลุมหน้าของพระที่นั่ง และคลี่เมฆของพระองค์ออกคลุมมันไว้

⁹He encloses the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud on it.

¹⁰พระองค์ทรงขีดปริมณฑลไว้บนพื้นน้ำ ณ เขตระหว่างความสว่างและความมืด

¹⁰He has described a boundary on the surface of the waters, and to the confines of light and darkness.

¹¹เสาฟ้าก็หวั่นไหวและประหลาดใจเมื่อพระองค์ทรงขนาบ

¹¹The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his rebuke.

¹²พระองค์ทรงปราบทะเลให้สงบด้วยอานุภาพของพระองค์ พระองค์ทรงตีคนจองหองด้วยความเข้าพระทัยของพระองค์

¹²He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through Rahab.

¹³พระองค์ทรงตกแต่งฟ้าสวรรค์ด้วยพระวิญญาณของพระองค์ พระหัตถ์ของพระองค์ทรงสร้างพญานาคที่ขด

¹³By his Spirit the heavens are garnished. His hand has pierced the swift serpent.

¹⁴ดูเถิด เหล่านี้เป็นเพียงพระราชกิจผิวเผินของพระองค์ เราได้ยินถึงพระองค์ก็เป็นเพียงเสียงกระซิบ ใครจะเข้าใจถึงฤทธิ์กัมปนาทอันเกรียงไกรของพระองค์ได้"

¹⁴Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”
