¹โอ จงโมทนาขอบพระคุณพระเยโฮวาห์ เพราะพระองค์ประเสริฐ เพราะความเมตตาของพระองค์ดำรงเป็นนิตย์

¹Give thanks to Yahweh, “Yahweh” is God’s proper Name, sometimes rendered “LORD” (all caps) in other translations. for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

²ให้ผู้ที่พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงไถ่ไว้แล้วกล่าวดังนั้นเถิด คือผู้ที่พระองค์ทรงไถ่ไว้จากมือของปรปักษ์

²Let the redeemed by Yahweh say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,

³และรวบรวมเข้ามาจากแผ่นดินทั้งหลาย จากตะวันออก และจากตะวันตก จากเหนือและจากใต้

³And gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.

⁴เขาก็พเนจรอยู่ในป่าในที่แห้งแล้ง หาไม่พบทางที่จะเข้านครซึ่งพอจะอาศัยได้

⁴They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way. They found no city to live in.

⁵หิวโหยและกระหาย จิตใจของเขาก็อ่อนระอาไปในตัวเขา

⁵Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.

⁶แล้วในความยากลำบากของเขาเมื่อเขาร้องทูลพระเยโฮวาห์ พระองค์ทรงช่วยเขาให้พ้นจากความทุกข์ใจของเขา

⁶Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses,

⁷พระองค์ทรงนำเขาไปในทางตรงจนเขามาถึงนครซึ่งพอจะอาศัยได้

⁷he led them also by a straight way, that they might go to a city to live in.

⁸ให้เขาขอบพระคุณพระเยโฮวาห์เพราะความดีของพระองค์ เพราะการมหัศจรรย์ของพระองค์ที่มีต่อบุตรทั้งหลายของมนุษย์

⁸Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works to the children of men!

⁹เพราะผู้ที่กระหาย พระองค์ทรงให้เขาอิ่ม และผู้ที่หิว พระองค์ทรงให้เขาหนำใจด้วยของดี

⁹For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good.

¹⁰ผู้ที่นั่งอยู่ในความมืดและเงามัจจุราช ถูกขังอยู่ด้วยความทุกข์ยากและติดตรวน

¹⁰Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron,

¹¹เพราะเขากบฏต่อพระวจนะของพระเจ้า และหยามคำปรึกษาขององค์ผู้สูงสุด

¹¹because they rebelled against the words of God The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “Elohim.” , and condemned the counsel of the Most High.

¹²พระองค์จึงทรงกระทำจิตใจของเขาทั้งหลายให้ถ่อมลงด้วยงานหนัก เขาล้มลงและไม่มีใครช่วย

¹²Therefore he brought down their heart with labor. They fell down, and there was none to help.

¹³แล้วในความยากลำบากของเขาเมื่อเขาร้องทูลพระเยโฮวาห์ พระองค์ทรงให้เขารอดจากความทุกข์ใจของเขา

¹³Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.

¹⁴พระองค์ทรงนำเขาออกมาจากความมืดและเงามัจจุราช และทรงระเบิดพันธนะของเขาให้ขาดสะบั้น

¹⁴He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bonds in sunder.

¹⁵ให้เขาขอบพระคุณพระเยโฮวาห์เพราะความดีของพระองค์ เพราะการมหัศจรรย์ของพระองค์ที่มีต่อบุตรทั้งหลายของมนุษย์

¹⁵Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works to the children of men!

¹⁶เพราะพระองค์ทรงพังประตูทองสัมฤทธิ์และทรงตัดซี่ลูกกรงเหล็กเสีย

¹⁶For he has broken the gates of brass, and cut through bars of iron.

¹⁷เขาเป็นคนโง่เพราะการละเมิดของเขา และเพราะความชั่วช้าของเขา เขาต้องทนความทุกข์ยาก

¹⁷Fools are afflicted because of their disobedience, and because of their iniquities.

¹⁸จิตใจเขารังเกียจอาหารทุกชนิดและเข้าไปใกล้ประตูความตาย

¹⁸Their soul abhors all kinds of food. They draw near to the gates of death.

¹⁹แล้วในความยากลำบากของเขาเมื่อเขาร้องทูลพระเยโฮวาห์ พระองค์ทรงให้เขารอดจากความทุกข์ใจของเขา

¹⁹Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, he saves them out of their distresses.

²⁰พระองค์ทรงใช้พระวจนะของพระองค์ไปรักษาเขา และทรงช่วยเขาให้พ้นจากสิ่งต่างๆที่จะทำลายเขา

²⁰He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves.

²¹ให้เขาขอบพระคุณพระเยโฮวาห์เพราะความดีของพระองค์ เพราะการมหัศจรรย์ของพระองค์ที่มีอยู่ต่อบุตรทั้งหลายของมนุษย์

²¹Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works to the children of men!

²²และให้เขาถวายเครื่องสักการบูชาโมทนาพระคุณ และเล่าพระราชกิจของพระองค์ด้วยความชื่นบาน

²²Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with singing.

²³ผู้ที่ลงเรือไปในทะเลทำอาชีพอยู่บนน้ำกว้างใหญ่

²³Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in great waters;

²⁴เขาได้เห็นพระราชกิจของพระเยโฮวาห์ และการมหัศจรรย์ของพระองค์ในที่น้ำลึก

²⁴These see Yahweh’s works, and his wonders in the deep.

²⁵เพราะพระองค์ทรงบัญชา และทรงให้เกิดลมพายุซึ่งให้คลื่นทะเลกำเริบ

²⁵For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.

²⁶คนเหล่านั้นถูกซัดขึ้นไปสู่ท้องฟ้าและลงไปสู่ที่ลึก ใจของเขาละลายไปในเหตุการร้ายของเขา

²⁶They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble.

²⁷เขาถลาและโซเซไปอย่างคนเมาและสิ้นปัญญาลง

²⁷They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.

²⁸แล้วในความยากลำบากของเขาเมื่อเขาร้องทูลพระเยโฮวาห์ พระองค์ทรงช่วยนำเขาออกจากความทุกข์ใจของเขา

²⁸Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress.

²⁹พระองค์ทรงกระทำให้พายุสงบลงและคลื่นทะเลก็นิ่ง

²⁹He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.

³⁰แล้วเขาก็ยินดีเพราะเขามีความเงียบ และพระองค์ทรงนำเขามายังท่าที่เขาปรารถนา

³⁰Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven.

³¹ให้เขาขอบพระคุณพระเยโฮวาห์เพราะความดีของพระองค์ เพราะการมหัศจรรย์ของพระองค์ที่มีต่อบุตรทั้งหลายของมนุษย์

³¹Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works for the children of men!

³²ให้เขายอพระเกียรติพระองค์ในชุมนุมประชาชน และสรรเสริญพระองค์ในที่ประชุมของผู้อาวุโส

³²Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.

³³พระองค์ทรงเปลี่ยนแม่น้ำให้เป็นถิ่นทุรกันดาร น้ำพุให้เป็นดินแห้งผาก

³³He turns rivers into a desert, water springs into a thirsty ground,

³⁴แผ่นดินที่มีผลดกให้เป็นที่แห้งแล้ง เพราะเหตุความโหดร้ายของชาวเมือง

³⁴and a fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of those who dwell in it.

³⁵พระองค์ทรงเปลี่ยนถิ่นทุรกันดารให้เป็นสระน้ำ แผ่นดินแห้งผากให้เป็นน้ำพุ

³⁵He turns a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into water springs.

³⁶และพระองค์ทรงให้คนหิวโหยอาศัยที่นั่น เพื่อเขาจะสถาปนานครซึ่งพอจะอาศัยได้

³⁶There he makes the hungry live, that they may prepare a city to live in,

³⁷เขาหว่านนา และปลูกสวนองุ่นและได้ผลดกมาก

³⁷sow fields, plant vineyards, and reap the fruits of increase.

³⁸โดยพระพรของพระองค์เขาทั้งหลายทวีผลมากยิ่ง และพระองค์มิได้ทรงให้วัวของเขาลดจำนวนลง

³⁸He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly. He doesn’t allow their livestock to decrease.

³⁹เมื่อเขาถูกทำให้น้อยลงและถูกเหยียดให้ต่ำโดยการบีบบังคับกับความยากลำบากและความโศกเศร้า

³⁹Again, they are diminished and bowed down through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.

⁴⁰พระองค์ทรงเทความดูหมิ่นลงบนเจ้านาย ทรงกระทำให้เขาพเนจรไปในถิ่นทุรกันดารที่ไม่มีหนทาง

⁴⁰He pours contempt on princes, and causes them to wander in a trackless waste.

⁴¹แต่พระองค์ทรงยกคนขัดสนขึ้นจากความทุกข์ยาก และกระทำให้ครอบครัวของเขามากอย่างฝูงแพะแกะ

⁴¹Yet he lifts the needy out of their affliction, and increases their families like a flock.

⁴²คนชอบธรรมจะเห็นและยินดี และความชั่วช้าทั้งปวงก็จะปิดปากของมัน

⁴²The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths.

⁴³ผู้ใดฉลาดและจะรักษาสิ่งเหล่านี้ ก็จะเข้าใจถึงความเมตตาของพระเยโฮวาห์

⁴³Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the loving kindnesses of Yahweh.
