1บุคคลผู้ซึ่งได้รับอภัยการละเมิดแล้วก็เป็นสุข คือผู้ทรงกลบเกลื่อนบาปให้นั้น
1Blessed is he whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2บุคคลซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์มิได้ทรงถือโทษความชั่วช้าก็เป็นสุข คือผู้ที่ไม่มีการหลอกลวงในใจของเขา
2Blessed is the man to whom Yahweh doesn’t impute iniquity, in whose spirit there is no deceit.
3เมื่อข้าพระองค์นิ่งเงียบ ร่างกายของข้าพระองค์ก็ร่วงโรยไปโดยการคร่ำครวญวันยังค่ำของข้าพระองค์
3When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
4พระหัตถ์ของพระองค์หนักอยู่บนข้าพระองค์ทั้งวันทั้งคืน กำลังของข้าพระองค์ก็เหี่ยวแห้งไปอย่างความร้อนในหน้าแล้ง เซลาห์
4For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped in the heat of summer. Selah.
5ข้าพระองค์สารภาพบาปของข้าพระองค์ต่อพระองค์ และข้าพระองค์มิได้ซ่อนความชั่วช้าของข้าพระองค์ไว้ ข้าพระองค์ทูลว่า "ข้าพระองค์จะสารภาพการละเมิดของข้าพระองค์ต่อพระเยโฮวาห์" แล้วพระองค์ทรงยกโทษความชั่วช้าแห่งความบาปของข้าพระองค์ เซลาห์
5I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
6เพราะฉะนั้นทุกคนที่ตามทางของพระเจ้าจะอธิษฐานต่อพระองค์ในเวลาที่จะพบพระองค์ได้ ในเวลาน้ำท่วมมาก น้ำจะไม่มาถึงคนนั้น
6For this, let everyone who is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach to him.
7พระองค์ทรงเป็นที่ซ่อนของข้าพระองค์ พระองค์ทรงสงวนข้าพระองค์ไว้จากความยากลำบาก พระองค์ทรงล้อมข้าพระองค์ไว้ด้วยเพลงฉลองการช่วยให้พ้น เซลาห์
7You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
8เราจะแนะนำและสอนเจ้าถึงทางที่เจ้าควรจะเดินไป เราจะให้คำปรึกษาแก่เจ้าด้วยจับตาเจ้าอยู่
8I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
9อย่าเป็นเหมือนม้าหรือล่อที่ปราศจากความเข้าใจ ซึ่งต้องติดสายผ่าปากและบังเหียน มิฉะนั้นมันก็มาถึงเจ้า
9Don’t be like the horse, or like the mule, which have no understanding, who are controlled by bit and bridle, or else they will not come near to you.
10อันความทุกข์ของคนชั่วนั้นมีมาก แต่ความเมตตาจะล้อมบุคคลที่วางใจในพระเยโฮวาห์
10Many sorrows come to the wicked, but loving kindness shall surround him who trusts in Yahweh.
11ข้าแต่คนชอบธรรม จงยินดีในพระเยโฮวาห์ และเปรมปรีดิ์ บรรดาท่านผู้มีใจเที่ยงตรงจงโห่ร้องเถิด
11Be glad in Yahweh, and rejoice, you righteous! Shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart!
