¹ข้าแต่ท่านผู้ชอบธรรม จงเปรมปรีดิ์ในพระเยโฮวาห์ การสรรเสริญนั้นควรแก่คนเที่ยงธรรม

¹Rejoice in Yahweh, you righteous! Praise is fitting for the upright.

²จงสรรเสริญพระเยโฮวาห์ด้วยพิณเขาคู่ จงถวายสดุดีแด่พระองค์ด้วยพิณใหญ่และพิณสิบสาย

²Give thanks to Yahweh with the lyre. Sing praises to him with the harp of ten strings.

³จงร้องเพลงบทใหม่ถวายพระองค์ จงดีดสายอย่างแคล่วคล่องพร้อมกับโห่ร้อง

³Sing to him a new song. Play skillfully with a shout of joy!

⁴เพราะพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์เที่ยงธรรม และบรรดาพระราชกิจของพระองค์ก็สำเร็จด้วยความจริง

⁴For the word of Yahweh is right. All his work is done in faithfulness.

⁵พระองค์ทรงรักความชอบธรรมและความยุติธรรม แผ่นดินโลกเต็มด้วยความดีของพระเยโฮวาห์

⁵He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh.

⁶โดยพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์ฟ้าสวรรค์ก็ถูกสร้างขึ้นมา กับบริวารทั้งปวงก็ด้วยลมพระโอษฐ์ของพระองค์

⁶By Yahweh’s word, the heavens were made; all their army by the breath of his mouth.

⁷พระองค์ทรงรวบรวมน้ำทะเลเหมือนอย่างทำนบ และทรงเก็บที่ลึกไว้ในคลัง

⁷He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap. He lays up the deeps in storehouses.

⁸ให้แผ่นดินโลกทั้งสิ้นยำเกรงพระเยโฮวาห์ ให้บรรดาชาวพิภพทั้งปวงยืนตะลึงพรึงเพริดต่อพระองค์

⁸Let all the earth fear Yahweh. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

⁹เพราะพระองค์ตรัส มันก็เกิดขึ้นมา พระองค์ทรงบัญชา มันก็ออกมา

⁹For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm.

¹⁰พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงให้การปรึกษาของชาติต่างๆเปล่าประโยชน์ พระองค์ทรงให้แผนงานของชนชาติทั้งหลายไร้ผล

¹⁰Yahweh brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.

¹¹คำปรึกษาของพระเยโฮวาห์ตั้งมั่นคงเป็นนิตย์ พระดำริในพระทัยของพระองค์อยู่ทุกชั่วอายุ

¹¹The counsel of Yahweh stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

¹²ประชาชาติที่พระเจ้าของเขาคือพระเยโฮวาห์ก็เป็นสุข คือชนชาติซึ่งพระองค์ทรงเลือกสรรไว้เป็นมรดกของพระองค์

¹²Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.

¹³พระเยโฮวาห์ทอดพระเนตรจากฟ้าสวรรค์ พระองค์ทอดพระเนตรบุตรทั้งหลายของมนุษย์

¹³Yahweh looks from heaven. He sees all the sons of men.

¹⁴จากที่ซึ่งพระองค์ประทับพระองค์ทอดพระเนตรเหนือชาวแผ่นดินโลกทั้งสิ้น

¹⁵คือพระองค์ผู้ทรงประดิษฐ์จิตใจของเขาทั้งหลายทุกคน และทรงพิจารณากิจการของเขาทั้งหลายทั้งสิ้น

¹⁵he who fashions all of their hearts; and he considers all of their works.

¹⁶กองทัพใหญ่หาช่วยให้กษัตริย์องค์หนึ่งองค์ใดรอดพ้นไปไม่ กำลังอันมากมายก็ไม่ช่วยนักรบให้พ้นได้

¹⁶There is no king saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.

¹⁷ม้าศึกจะเป็นที่หวังความปลอดภัยก็หาไม่ กำลังมหาศาลของมันก็ช่วยให้รอดไม่ได้

¹⁷A horse is a vain thing for safety, neither does he deliver any by his great power.

¹⁸ดูเถิด พระเนตรของพระเยโฮวาห์อยู่เหนือผู้ที่ยำเกรงพระองค์ เหนือผู้ที่หวังในความเมตตาของพระองค์

¹⁸Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness;

¹⁹เพื่อพระองค์จะทรงช่วยจิตวิญญาณของเขาให้พ้นจากมัจจุราช และให้เขาดำรงชีวิตอยู่ได้ในเวลากันดารอาหาร

¹⁹to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine.

²⁰จิตวิญญาณของเราทั้งหลายรอคอยพระเยโฮวาห์ พระองค์ทรงเป็นความอุปถัมภ์และเป็นโล่ของเรา

²⁰Our soul has waited for Yahweh. He is our help and our shield.

²¹เออ จิตใจของเราทั้งหลายยินดีในพระองค์ เพราะเราวางใจในพระนามบริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์

²¹For our heart rejoices in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

²²ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอความเมตตาของพระองค์จงอยู่เหนือข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายตามที่ข้าพระองค์หวังใจในพระองค์

²²Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh, since we have hoped in you.
