1พระเจ้าทรงเข้าประทับในชุมนุมชนของผู้มีอำนาจ พระองค์ทรงทำการพิพากษาท่ามกลางพระทั้งหลายว่า
1God presides in the great assembly. He judges among the gods.
2"ท่านจะตัดสินอย่างอยุติธรรมและแสดงความลำเอียงข้างคนชั่วนานเท่าใด เซลาห์
2“How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah.
3จงให้ความยุติธรรมแก่คนยากจนและกำพร้าพ่อ จงดำรงสิทธิของผู้ที่ทุกข์ยากและคนขัดสน
3“Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
4จงช่วยคนยากจนและคนขัดสนให้พ้น ช่วยเขาให้พ้นจากมือของคนชั่ว"
4Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”
5เขาทั้งหลายไม่รู้และไม่เข้าใจ เขาเดินไปมาในความมืด รากทั้งสิ้นของแผ่นดินโลกก็หวั่นไหว
5They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6เราได้กล่าวว่า "ท่านทั้งหลายเป็นพระ เป็นบุตรองค์ผู้สูงสุด ท่านทุกคนนั่นแหละ
6I said, “You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.
7ถึงกระนั้น ท่านก็จะตายอย่างมนุษย์และล้มลงเหมือนเจ้านายคนหนึ่งคนใด"
7Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.”
8ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ขอทรงลุกขึ้นพิพากษาแผ่นดินโลก เพราะบรรดาประชาชาติทั้งสิ้นจะเป็นมรดกของพระองค์
8Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.
