¹ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ขออย่าทรงนิ่งอยู่ ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ขออย่าทรงเงียบและเฉยอยู่

¹God, don’t keep silent. Don’t keep silent, and don’t be still, God.

²เพราะดูเถิด ศัตรูของพระองค์สับสนอลหม่าน บรรดาผู้ที่ชังพระองค์ได้ยกศีรษะของเขาขึ้น

²For, behold, your enemies are stirred up. Those who hate you have lifted up their heads.

³เขาวางแผนการแยบคายสู้ประชาชนของพระองค์ เขาปรึกษากันสู้ผู้ที่พระองค์ทรงซ่อนอยู่

³They conspire with cunning against your people. They plot against your cherished ones.

⁴เขาพูดว่า "มาเถิด ให้เราตัดเขาออกจากการเป็นประชาชาติ เพื่อจะไม่ระลึกถึงชื่ออิสราเอลอีกต่อไป"

⁴“Come,” they say, “and let’s destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”

⁵เพราะเขาปองร้ายเป็นใจเดียวกัน เขาทำพันธสัญญาสู้พระองค์

⁵For they have conspired together with one mind. They form an alliance against you.

⁶คือ เต็นท์ของเอโดม และคนอิชมาเอล โมอับ และคนฮาการ์

⁶The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagrites;

⁷เกบาล อัมโมน และอามาเลค ฟีลิสเตียกับชาวเมืองไทระ

⁷Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;

⁸อัสซีเรียก็สมทบเขาด้วย เขาได้ช่วยลูกหลานของโลต เซลาห์

⁸Assyria also is joined with them. They have helped the children of Lot. Selah.

⁹ขอทรงทำกับเขาอย่างพระองค์ทรงกระทำกับมีเดียน อย่างที่ทำกับสิเสราและยาบินที่ลำธารคีโชน

⁹Do to them as you did to Midian, as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river Kishon;

¹⁰ผู้ถูกทำลายที่ตำบลเอนโดร์ ผู้กลายเป็นปุ๋ยของที่ดิน

¹⁰who perished at Endor, who became as dung for the earth.

¹¹ขอทรงทำขุนนางของเขาเหมือนโอเรบและเศเอบ ทำเจ้านายทั้งสิ้นของเขาเหมือนเศบาร์และศาลมุนนา

¹¹Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb; yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna;

¹²ผู้ที่กล่าวว่า "ให้เราเอาที่อาศัยทั้งหลายของพระเจ้ามาเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ของเราเถิด"

¹³ข้าแต่พระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ ขอทรงทำเขาให้เหมือนกงจักร เหมือนแกลบต่อหน้าลม

¹³My God, make them like tumbleweed; like chaff before the wind.

¹⁴อย่างไฟเผาผลาญป่าไม้ อย่างเปลวเพลิงที่ให้ภูเขาลุกโพลง

¹⁴As the fire that burns the forest, as the flame that sets the mountains on fire,

¹⁵ขอทรงข่มเหงเขาด้วยพายุแรงกล้าของพระองค์ และทรงทำให้เขาคร้ามกลัวด้วยพายุจัดของพระองค์

¹⁵so pursue them with your tempest, and terrify them with your storm.

¹⁶ทรงให้หน้าของเขาเต็มไปด้วยความอาย ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ เพื่อเขาจะได้แสวงพระนามของพระองค์

¹⁶Fill their faces with confusion, that they may seek your name, Yahweh.

¹⁷ขอให้เขาอับอาย และกลัวอยู่เป็นนิตย์ ให้เขาอดสูและพินาศไป

¹⁷Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever. Yes, let them be confounded and perish;

¹⁸เพื่อคนทั้งปวงจะทราบว่าพระองค์ ผู้ทรงพระนามว่าพระเยโฮวาห์แต่ผู้เดียว ทรงเป็นผู้สูงสุดเหนือแผ่นดินโลกทั้งสิ้น

¹⁸that they may know that you alone, whose name is Yahweh, are the Most High over all the earth.
