¹ข้าพเจ้าหันกลับและเงยหน้าขึ้นอีกก็แลเห็น ดูเถิด หนังสือม้วนหนึ่งเหาะอยู่นั่น

¹Then again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, a flying scroll.

²ท่านจึงถามข้าพเจ้าว่า "เจ้าเห็นอะไร" ข้าพเจ้าตอบว่า "ข้าพเจ้าและเห็นหนังสือม้วนหนึ่งเหาะอยู่ มันยาวยี่สิบศอก และกว้างสิบศอก"

²He said to me, “What do you see?” I answered, “I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits, and its breadth ten cubits.”

³แล้วท่านจึงบอกข้าพเจ้าว่า "นี่แหละเป็นคำสาปที่แผ่ออกไปทั่วพื้นแผ่นดินทั้งสิ้น ผู้ที่ทำการโจรกรรมทุกคนจะต้องถูกขจัดออก ตั้งแต่นี้ไปตามความในหนังสือม้วนนั้น และทุกคนที่ปฏิญาณจะต้องถูกขจัดออกตั้งแต่นี้ไปตามที่กำหนดไว้

³Then he said to me, “This is the curse that goes out over the surface of the whole land; for everyone who steals shall be cut off according to it on the one side; and everyone who swears falsely shall be cut off according to it on the other side.

⁴พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาตรัสว่า เราส่งคำสาปนั้นออกไป และคำนั้นจะเข้าไปในเรือนของโจร และในเรือนของคนที่ปฏิญาณเท็จโดยออกนามของเรา และคำนี้จะค้างคืนอยู่ในเรือน ผลาญเรือนนั้นเสียทั้งตัวไม้และศิลา"

⁴I will cause it to go out,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and it will enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name; and it will remain in the midst of his house, and will destroy it with its timber and its stones.”

⁵ทูตสวรรค์ผู้ที่สนทนากับข้าพเจ้าได้ออกมาพูดกับข้าพเจ้าว่า "จงเงยหน้าขึ้นดูว่า สิ่งที่ออกไปนั้นคืออะไร"

⁵Then the angel who talked with me came forward, and said to me, “Lift up now your eyes, and see what is this that is appearing.”

⁶ข้าพเจ้าจึงว่า "นั่นคืออะไร" ท่านจึงตอบว่า "นี่คือเอฟาห์ที่ออกไป" และท่านจึงว่า "นี่คือสิ่งคล้ายคลึงในแผ่นดินทั้งสิ้น"

⁶I said, “What is it?” He said, “This is the ephah An ephah is a measure of volume of about 22 litres, 5.8 U. S. gallons, or about 2/3 of a bushel. basket that is appearing.” He said moreover, “This is their appearance in all the land

⁷และ ดูเถิด ตะกั่วหนึ่งตะลันต์ก็ถูกยกขึ้น และมีผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งนั่งอยู่ในเอฟาห์นั้น

⁷(and behold, a talent A talent is a weight of about 34 kilograms or 75 pounds. of lead was lifted up); and this is a woman sitting in the midst of the ephah basket.”

⁸และเขากล่าวว่า "นี่คือความชั่ว" และท่านก็ผลักนางนั้นเข้าไปในเอฟาห์ แล้วก็ผลักลูกน้ำหนักที่ทำด้วยตะกั่วนั้นปิดปากมันไว้

⁸He said, “This is Wickedness”; and he threw her down into the midst of the ephah basket; and he threw the weight of lead on its mouth.

⁹แล้วข้าพเจ้าก็เงยหน้าขึ้นแลเห็น ดูเถิด มีผู้หญิงสองคนออกมานั่น มีลมอยู่ในปีกของนาง นางมีปีกเหมือนปีกของนกกระสาดำ และนางก็ยกเอฟาห์ขึ้นระหว่างโลกและฟ้าสวรรค์

⁹Then lifted I up my eyes, and saw, and behold, there were two women, and the wind was in their wings. Now they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the ephah basket between earth and the sky.

¹⁰แล้วข้าพเจ้าจึงพูดกับทูตสวรรค์ผู้ที่สนทนากับข้าพเจ้าว่า "นางเหล่านั้นจะนำเอฟาห์ไปที่ไหน"

¹⁰Then I said to the angel who talked with me, “Where are these carrying the ephah basket?”

¹¹ท่านตอบข้าพเจ้าว่า "ไปยังแผ่นดินชินาร์ไปสร้างเรือนไว้ให้เอฟาห์ เมื่อเตรียมอย่างนี้เสร็จแล้ว นางเหล่านั้นจะวางเอฟาห์ไว้บนฐานของมัน"

¹¹He said to me, “To build her a house in the land of Shinar. When it is prepared, she will be set there in her own place.”
