¹และข้าพเจ้าได้หันกลับ เงยหน้าขึ้นอีกแลเห็น ดูเถิด มีรถรบสี่คันออกมาระหว่างภูเขาสองลูก ภูเขาเหล่านั้นเป็นภูเขาทองสัมฤทธิ์

¹Again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

²รถรบคันแรกเทียมม้าแดง รถรบคันที่สองม้าดำ

²In the first chariot were red horses; in the second chariot black horses;

³รถรบคันที่สามม้าขาว รถรบคันที่สี่ม้าด่างสีเทา

³in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot dappled horses, all of them powerful.

⁴แล้วข้าพเจ้าจึงถามทูตสวรรค์ผู้ที่สนทนากับข้าพเจ้าว่า "เจ้านายเจ้าข้า เหล่านี้คืออะไร"

⁴Then I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?”

⁵และทูตสวรรค์นั้นตอบข้าพเจ้าว่า "เหล่านี้เป็นวิญญาณสี่ดวงแห่งฟ้าสวรรค์ ซึ่งออกมาหลังจากที่ได้ยืนอยู่ต่อพระพักตร์ขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งพิภพทั้งสิ้นแล้ว

⁵The angel answered me, “These are the four winds of the sky, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

⁶ม้าดำตรงไปยังประเทศเหนือ ตัวขาวติดตามม้าดำไป และตัวสีด่างตรงไปยังประเทศใต้"

⁶The one with the black horses goes out toward the north country; and the white went out after them; and the dappled went forth toward the south country.”

⁷และตัวสีเทาออกไป พวกมันก็ร้อนใจที่จะออกไปและตรวจตราพื้นพิภพ และท่านกล่าวว่า "ไปซิ ไปตรวจตราพิภพ" ดังนั้นม้าเหล่านั้นจึงตรวจตราพิภพ

⁷The strong went out, and sought to go that they might walk back and forth through the earth: and he said, “Go around and through the earth!” So they walked back and forth through the earth.

⁸แล้วท่านจึงร้องบอกข้าพเจ้าว่า "ดูเถิด ม้าเหล่านี้ที่ไปยังประเทศเหนือนั้นได้กระทำให้จิตวิญญาณของเราสงบนิ่งในประเทศเหนือนั้น"

⁸Then he called to me, and spoke to me, saying, “Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.”

⁹และพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าว่า

⁹The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

¹⁰"จงนำเอาเฮลดัย โทบียาห์ และเยดายาห์ไปเสียจากบรรดาเชลย ผู้ซึ่งกลับจากบาบิโลน ในวันเดียวกันนั้นไปยังเรือนของโยสิยาห์ บุตรชายเศฟันยาห์

¹⁰“Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have come from Babylon.

¹¹จงเอาเงินและทองคำทำเป็นมงกุฎหลายมงกุฎ และสวมบนศีรษะของโยชูวาบุตรชายเยโฮซาดัก มหาปุโรหิต

¹¹Yes, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;

¹²และกล่าวแก่เขาว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด ชายผู้ที่มีชื่อว่าพระอังกูร เพราะท่านจะไพบูลย์ในสถานที่ของท่าน และจะสร้างพระวิหารของพระเยโฮวาห์

¹²and speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says Yahweh of Armies, “Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build Yahweh’s temple;

¹³ท่านผู้นี้แหละจะเป็นผู้สร้างพระวิหารของพระเยโฮวาห์ และจะรับเกียรติศักดิ์ และจะประทับและปกครองอยู่บนราชบัลลังก์ของท่าน และท่านจะเป็นปุโรหิตอยู่บนราชบัลลังก์ของท่าน และการหารือกันอย่างสันติจะมีอยู่ระหว่างท่านทั้งสอง'

¹³even he shall build Yahweh’s temple; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on his throne; and he shall be a priest on his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

¹⁴และมงกุฎเหล่านั้นจะอยู่ในพระวิหารของพระเยโฮวาห์ เพื่อให้เป็นที่ระลึกถึงเฮเลม โทบียาห์ เยดายาห์ และเฮ็น บุตรชายของเศฟันยาห์

¹⁴The crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in Yahweh’s temple.

¹⁵บรรดาผู้ที่อยู่ห่างไกลจะมาช่วยสร้างพระวิหารของพระเยโฮวาห์ และท่านทั้งหลายจะทราบว่า พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาทรงใช้ข้าพเจ้ามายังท่าน ถ้าท่านทั้งหลายจะเชื่อฟังพระสุรเสียงของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านอย่างเคร่งครัด สิ่งนี้จะเป็นไปดังกล่าวนั้น"

¹⁵Those who are far off shall come and build in Yahweh’s temple; and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you. This will happen, if you will diligently obey the voice of Yahweh your God The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “Elohim.” .”’”
