2 Corinthians

7

1Jadi', ompi' -ku to kupe'ahi', apa' lawi' ria-taka janci Alata'ala toe-e, wae-pi, kana tabahaka hawe'ea to mpakada'a-ta, lompe' to kahiloa, lompe' to hi rala nono-ta. Kana tatuku' Alata'ala hante nono-ta mpu'u, pai' tapoka'eka' mpobabehi to uma napokonoi.
1Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2Ompi' -ompi'! Neo' -pi ria posisalaa-ta, tarima-makai hi rala nono-ni! Uma bara ria sala' -kai ba hi hema-hema, uma-kai ria mpakarugi hema-hema, uma-kai mpali' porasia' ngkai hema-hema.
2Open your hearts to us: we wronged no man, we corrupted no man, we took advantage of no man.
3Mololita-a hewa tohe'i, uma ba mposalai' -koi ompi'. Apa' hewa to ku'uli' we'i, bohe ahi' -kai hi koi'-- ba mate ba tuwu' -kai, bate kipoka'ahi' -koi.
3I say it not to condemn [you]: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die together and live together.
4Uma-a koro' mpololitai-koi hante kalonto' -lonto' -na hewa tohe'i-e ompi'. Bohe lia nono-ku sabana koi' ompi'. Nau' wori' kaparia mporumpa' -kai, terohoi moto-mi nono-ku tohe'i-e, pai' goe' lia-a mpokagoe' -koi.
4Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying on your behalf: I am filled with comfort, I overflow with joy in all our affliction.
6Napa pai' ku'uli' terohoi-mi nono-kue, ompi'? Apa' goe' -a mpo'epe kareba to nakeni Titus ngkai koi'. Hewa to kututura-mi we'i, me'ongko' -makai ngkai ngata Troas tumai hi Makedonia. Aga karata-kai hi rehe'i, bate uma oa' rodo nono-kai. Ngki'ii ngka'ana narumpa' -kai kaparia. Ria to mposisala-kakai, hamali me'eka' wo'o-kai. Mere' mpu'u-mi nono-kai nto'u toe. Aga tarima kasi ku'uli' hi Alata'ala, apa' nto'u toe-mi karata-na Titus mpokeni kareba ngkai koi' ompi'. Jadi', nono-kai to mere' napakaroho-mi Alata'ala hi karata-na Titus toe.
5For even when we were come into Macedonia our flesh had no relief, but [we were] afflicted on every side; without [were] fightings, within [were] fears.
7Moroho nculii' -mi nono-kai mpohilo Titus rata. Pai' meliu ngkai toe, goe' -kai mpo'epe lolita-na to nakeni ngkai koi'. Mpo'epe toe, hangkedi' kagoe' -ku ompi'.
6Nevertheless he that comforteth the lowly, [even] God, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
8Nau' ihi' sura-ku wengi mpopihii nono-ni, aga uma soho' nono-ku mpo'uki' sura toe. Lomo' -lomo' -na soho' moto nono-ku, apa' ku'inca bate susa' mpai' nono-ni mpobasa sura toe. Tapi' kasusa' nono-ni tetu hampai' -wadi.
7and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort wherewith he was comforted in you, while he told us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced yet more.
9Jadi', toe pai' ku'uli' uma soho' nono-ku. Goe' lau-ada! Uma-a goe' apa' ria-mi kasusaa' -ni. Goe' -a apa' kasusaa' -ni tetu mpokeni-koi medea ngkai kehi-ni to uma lompe'. Apa' nau' susa' nono-ni mpobasa sura-ku toe, kasusa' nono-ni toe napo'ohea lau Alata'ala mpokeni rasi' hi koi'. Jadi', uma-koi morugi sabana sura-ku toe.
8For though I made you sorry with my epistle, I do not regret it: though I did regret [it] (for I see that that epistle made you sorry, though but for a season),
10Apa' ane kasusaa' nono to ntuku' konoa Alata'ala, kasusaa' toe mpokeni-ta medea ngkai kehi-ta to dada'a, alaa-na Alata'ala mpohore-ta ngkai huku' jeko' -ta. Pai' kasusaa' toe uma taposoho' -ki nono. Tapi' ane susa' nono hewa to biasa hi tauna to uma mepangala' hi Alata'ala, kasusaa' toe uma mpokeni-ta medea ngkai kehi-ta to dada'a, alaa-na mporata-ta kamatea to mpogaa' -ta ngkai Alata'ala.
9I now rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye were made sorry unto repentance; for ye were made sorry after a godly sort, that ye might suffer loss by us in nothing.
11Kasusaa' -ni mpobasa sura-ku toe wengi, mpu'u-mpu'u kasusaa' to ntuku' konoa Alata'ala. Penonoi lompe' -koi ba napa wua' -na kasusaa' -ni toe. Ngkai kasusaa' -ni toe, ria mpu'u nono-ni doko' mpobabehi to monoa'. Ni'uli' uma-koi tono' hi tauna to mposapuaka-kai. Nipokahuku' jeko' -ra tauna to masala', nipoka'eka' mpotuku' kehi-ra. Lentora-mokoi mpokalentorai-a, nituku' -mi hawa' -ku, sadia moto-koi mpohuku' tauna to masala'. Hi butu nyala-na monoto-mi kamoroli' mpontolumanu' -na nono-ni hi kara-kara toe.
10For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, [a repentance] which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
12Toe-mi ompi', bela patuju-ku mpo'uki' sura toe wengi bona nipokahuku' -i to masala'. Bela wo'o patuju-ku mpetalawai' to narumpa' sala'. Alata'ala sabi' -ku! Patuju-ku mpo'uki' sura toe-le, bona monoto-mi hi koi' beiwa kabohe ahi' -ni hi kai'.
11For behold, this selfsame thing, that ye were made sorry after a godly sort, what earnest care it wrought in you, yea what clearing of yourselves, yea what indignation, yea what fear, yea what longing, yea what zeal, yea what avenging! In everything ye approved yourselves to be pure in the matter.
13Jadi', apa' nitarima lompe' -mi-hawo sura-ku toe-e, terohoi-mi nono-kai toi-e! Terohoi mpu'u-mi nono-kai ompi', pai' meliu ngkai toe, goe' lia-kai mpohilo wo'o kagoe' -na Titus. Morawa-mi nono-na mpohilo kehi-ni bula-na retu dohe-ni.
12So although I wrote unto you, I [wrote] not for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be made manifest unto you in the sight of God.
14Kako'ia-na kuhubui-i tilou wengi, kututura ami' -miki hawe'ea kalompe' nono-ni, kupomobohe hanga' -ni. Rasi' -di ompi', uma wa nipaka'ea' -ae. Hewa hawe'ea to ku'uli' -kokoi, makono omea, wae wo'o hawe'ea to kuparata-ki Titus mpo'une' -koi, uma wa ria to sala', makono omea moto.
13Therefore we have been comforted: And in our comfort we joyed the more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit hath been refreshed by you all.
15Hiaa' hi'a wo'o-hawo, tampai-mi ahi' -na hi koi', apa' nakiwoi beiwa ompi' -ompi' omea mpotuku' hawa' -na. Nau' hangkale' me'eka' -koi, nitarima moto-imi pai' nipengkorui-i.
14For if in anything I have gloried to him on your behalf, I was not put to shame; but as we spake all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be truth.
16Jadi' ompi' -ompi', hangkani-pi ku'uli': goe' lia-ama toi-e, apa' lompe' nculii' -mi posidaia' -ta, ma'ala-ama mposarumaka-koi hi butu nyala-na.
15And his affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
16I rejoice that in everything I am of good courage concerning you.
