2 Corinthians

8

1Kakaliliua-na ompi', doko' ki'uli' -kokoi napa to jadi' hi rehe'i lau hi tana' Makedonia. Bohe petulungi-na Pue' hi ompi' hampepangalaa' -ni to Makedonia.
1Moreover, brethren, we make known to you the grace of God which hath been given in the churches of Macedonia;
2Mporata-ra pesori pai' kaparia to motomo lia. Aga hi rala kaparia-ra toe, goe' lia moto-ra. Pai' nau' mpe'ahii' moto tuwu' -ra, uma hangkedi' doi petulungi-ra to rapewai' mpotulungi doo-ra.
2how that in much proof of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.
3Kuhilo moto beiwa kabohe nono-ra mewai'. Mewai' -ra ntuku' pakulea' -ra, ba melabi tena ngkai pakulea' -ra. Uma ria to mpewuku-ra, kabula nono-ra moto-rawo.
3For according to their power, I bear witness, yea and beyond their power, [they gave] of their own accord,
4Merapi' mpu'u-ra bona kana kipiliu wo'o-ra-rawo mpewai' doi petulungi-ra hi to Kristen to hi tana' Yudea.
4beseeching us with much entreaty in regard of this grace and the fellowship in the ministering to the saints:
5Pewai' -ra toe, meliu ngkai to kisarumaka. Uma muntu' doi to rapewai'. Lomo' -lomo' -na mpewai' -ra nono-ra moto hi Pue' Ala. Mengkoru-ra hi konoa Pue', pai' hi kai' wo'o apa' lawi' toe konoa Pue'.
5and [this], not as we had hoped, but first they gave their own selves to the Lord, and to us through the will of God.
6Jadi', mpohilo kalompe' nono-ra to Makedonia toe-e, toe pai' mohawa' -kai hi rehe'i mpopahawa' wo'o-imi Titus tilou hi koi' ompi'. Hi'a moto-mi wengi to lomo' -na mpotulungi-koi mporumpu doi to doko' nipakatu hilou hi tana' Yudea. Jadi', toe pai' hi'a wo'o-mi to kihubui tilou mpaliliu pobago to lompe' toe hi laintongo' -ni.
6Insomuch that we exhorted Titus, that as he made a beginning before, so he would also complete in you this grace also.
7Ompi' -ompi', hi rala petuku' -ni hi Alata'ala, uma ria kakuraa' -ni: bohe pepangala' -ni, ni'inca tudui' to makono pai' ni'inca mpotudui' doo, wori' bago-ni mpotulungi doo, bohe ahi' -ni hi kai'. Toe-mi ompi' pai' kuperapi' bona neo' mpai' ria kakuraa' -ni hi rala pobago-ni mpotulungi doo to mpe'ahii' hi tana' Yudea.
7But as ye abound in everything, [in] faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and [in] all earnestness, and [in] your love to us, [see] that ye abound in this grace also.
8Uma ku'uli' -kokoi tohe'i hewa lolita hawa'. Patuju-ku doko' mpopo'incai-koi beiwa kabohe ahi' -ra to Makedonia mpewai' doi petulungi-ra hi doo, bona kuhilo rata hiapa wo'o-koiwo ahi' -ni.
8I speak not by way of commandment, but as proving through the earnestness of others the sincerity also of your love.
9For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might become rich.
11Jadi', tohe'i-mi lolita-ku ompi': ohea-na lia-mi ane nipohudu lau bago to nitepu'u-mi hi mpae to liu, apa' lawi' koi' -mi ompi' to lomo' -na doko' mporumpu doi petulungi-ni toe-e, pai' koi' wo'o-mi to lomo' -na mpotepu'u mporumpu doi toi. Jadi', hewa kabaka' -ni mohawa' wengi, kusarumaka bate toe wo'o mpai' kabaka' -ni mpokaliliu bago toi rata hiapa pakulea' -ni.
10And herein I give [my] judgment: for this is expedient for you, who were the first to make a beginning a year ago, not only to do, but also to will.
12Apa' ane ria nono-ta mewai', pai' -ta mewai' ntuku' napa-hawo to ria hi kita', goe' -i Alata'ala mpodoa pewai' -ta toe. Uma-i mperapi' pewai' to meliu ngkai pakulea' -ta.
11But now complete the doing also; that as [there was] the readiness to will, so [there may be] the completion also out of your ability.
13Bela patuju-ku mpopokoloi-koi to motomo alaa-na nakakurai' -koi, pai' tau ntani' -na morasi'. Patuju-ku bona hibaa-balia katuwu' -ni.
12For if the readiness is there, [it is] acceptable according as [a man] hath, not according as [he] hath not.
14Tempo toi, apa' lawi' hono' hi koi', toto-na moto-mi ane koi' mpohonoi' kakuraa' -ra to hi tana' Yudea.
13For [I say] not [this] that others may be eased [and] ye distressed;
15Tohe'i hewa lolita Buku Tomoroli' owi to mpo'uli': Tauna to mporumpu wori', uma ria pelabia-na. Pai' tauna to mporumpu hangkedi', uma wo'o-i-hawo naka'otii."
14but by equality: your abundance [being a supply] at this present time for their want, that their abundance also may become [a supply] for your want; that there may be equality:
16Ku'uli' tarima kasi hi Alata'ala, apa' Hi'a to mobago hi rala nono-na Titus alaa-na ria mpu'u nono-na doko' mpotulungi-koi. Nono-na Titus doko' mpotulungi-koi toe hibalia hante nono-kai kai' wo'o.
15as it is written, He that [gathered] much had nothing over; and he that [gathered] little had no lack.
17Kipekune' -i: "Dota-ko kihubui hilou hi Korintus mpotulungi-ra mpo'urusi pomporumpu-ra doi toe-e?" Natompoi': "Dota moto-a!" Meliu ngkai toe, ngkai konoa-na moto wo'o-hawo, ria ami' -mi hi nono-na doko' mpencuai' -koi.
16But thanks be to God, who putteth the same earnest care for you into the heart of Titus.
18Dohe Titus, kihubui wo'o hadua ompi' -ta tilou. Hawe'ea topepangala' hi Pue' Yesus mpo'une' ompi' -ta toii ngkai pobago-na mpokeni Kareba Lompe'.
17For he accepted indeed our exhortation; but being himself very earnest, he went forth unto you of his own accord.
19Uma muntu' toe, hawe'ea to Kristen hi rehe'i lau tungkai' mpopelihi-i bona hi'a to mpodohei-kai hi pomakoa' -kai mpai' hilou hi tana' Yudea, mpokeni doi pewai' -ni hilou hi ompi' hampepangalaa' -ta hi ria to hi rala kasusaa'. Apa' patuju pomako' -kai toi-e, bona hanga' Pue' rapomobohe, pai' bona ompi' -ta to hi Yudea mpohilo kamoroli' nono-ta mpotulungi-ra.
18And we have sent together with him the brother whose praise in the gospel [is spread] through all the churches;
20Patuju-kai mpohubui ompi' -ta to hadua toii tilou dohe Titus, apa' doko' kipelompehi bona neo' mpai' ria to mpo'uli' uma monoa' po'ingku-kai hi pongkeni-kai pewai' to bohe toi.
19and not only so, but who was also appointed by the churches to travel with us in [the matter of] this grace, which is ministered by us to the glory of the Lord, and [to show] our readiness:
21Toe pai' ki'atoro' ami' kahema-ra doo-kai hi pomakoa' -kai toi-e, bona monoto kamonoa' po'ingku-kai, uma muntu' hi poncilo Pue', hi poncilo manusia' wo'o.
20Avoiding this, that any man should blame us in [the matter of] this bounty which is ministered by us:
22Jadi', dohe Titus pai' ompi' -ta to hadua toei-e we'i, ria wo'o hadua-pi to kihubui tilou. Ompi' -ta tohe'ii, wori' ngkani-mi kihilo po'ingku-na hi rala wori' nyala bago, pai' ki'inca kabaka' -na mpongawa' pobago Pue'. Pai' wae lau, doko' mpu'u-i mpotulungi-koi to hi Korintus mpo'urusi pomporumpu-ni doi toi, apa' nasarumaka lia-koi.
21for we take thought for things honorable, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
23Ane Titus-hana, ema' hampobagoa-ku to kuhubui tilou mpotulungi-koi. Ane doo-na to rodua to mpo'emai' -i tilou-e, tauna to tungkai' rasuro to Kristen hi rehe'i lau mpo'urusi porumpu doi toi. Kehi-ra mpomobohe hanga' Kristus.
22and we have sent with them our brother, whom we have many times proved earnest in many things, but now much more earnest, by reason of the great confidence which [he hath] in you.
24Jadi', kuperapi' bona nitarima lompe' -ra-rawo, pai' nipopohiloi-ra ahi' -ni, bona hawe'ea to Kristen mpo'inca kama'ahi' -ni pai' ra'inca wo'o kamakono-na lolita pe'une' -kai mpo'une' -koi.
23Whether [any inquire] about Titus, [he is] my partner and [my] fellow-worker to you-ward, or our brethren, [they are] the messengers of the churches, [they are] the glory of Christ.
24Show ye therefore unto them in the face of the churches the proof of your love, and of our glorying on your behalf.
