1Aga neo' ni'uli' wae, mpope'une' wo'o-makai toi-e! Uma-kai hewa guru agama to hantongo' tetura lou. Karata-ra hi ngata-ni, mpopehuwu-ra sura pe'une' ngkai doo bona nitarima-ra. Pai' ane me'ongko' -rapa ngkai ngata-ni, merapi' wo'o-ramo sura pe'une' ngkai koi'. Kai' uma mingki' mporata sura to hewa tetu.
1Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or do we need, as some, commendatory letters to you, or [commendatory] from you?
2Koi' moto-mile sura pe'une' kakamua-kaie. Koi' hewa sura to te'uki' rala nono-kai, apa' kipoka'ahi' -koi. Hiapa pomakoa' -kai, kitutura hi hawe'ea tauna kanitarima-na Kareba Lompe' to kikeni.
2*Ye* are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read of all men,
3being manifested to be Christ's epistle ministered by us, written, not with ink, but [the] Spirit of [the] living God; not on stone tables, but on fleshy tables of [the] heart.
4Pai' daho' -kai mpotompo'wiwi woto-kai moto hewa toe-e, apa' mposarumaka Alata'ala-kai, pai' Kristus to mpopelihi-kai jadi' topobago-na.
4And such confidence have we through the Christ towards God:
5Uma ki'uli' wae, kipakule' moto ngkamu bago toi. Uma ngkai pakulea' -kai moto, Alata'ala-hana to mpowai' -kai pakulea'.
5not that we are competent of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our competency [is] of God;
6Nawai' -kai pakulea' jadi' topobago-na to mpokeni Pojanci-na to bo'u hi manusia'. Pojanci-na to bo'u toe, bela atura-atura to te'uki' -wadi. Pojanci-na to bo'u toe, kanawai' -ta katuwua' to bo'u ngkai Inoha' Tomoroli'. Apa' ane doko' jadi' monoa' -ta hi poncilo Alata'ala hi kampotuku' -ta atura to te'uki' -wadi, bate mporata-ta kamatea. Tapi' ane mpotuku' -ta Alata'ala ngkai baraka' Inoha' Tomoroli', mporata-ta katuwua' to lompe' duu' kahae-hae-na.
6who has also made us competent, [as] ministers of [the] new covenant; not of letter, but of spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit quickens.
Atura Pue' to te'uki' hi watu toe mpokeni kamatea hi manusia', apa' uma takulei' mpotuku'. Aga nau' wae, bohe moto wo'o kabaraka' -na Alata'ala to rahilo to Yahudi hi lio-na Musa nto'u toe. Jadi', ane hewa toe kabaraka' -na atura to mpokeni kamatea,
7(But if the ministry of death, in letters, graven in stones, began with glory, so that the children of Israel could not fix their eyes on the face of Moses, on account of the glory of his face, [a glory] which is annulled;
8peliu-liu-nami kabaraka' -na Pojanci Alata'ala to bo'u, to mpowai' -ta Inoha' Tomoroli' hi rala nono-ta.
8how shall not rather the ministry of the Spirit subsist in glory?
9To Yahudi owi jadi' masala' hi poncilo Alata'ala apa' ratiboki Atura-na. Aga nau' wae, uma mowo kabaraka' -na Alata'ala to rahilo to Yahudi nto'u toe. Jadi', hangkedi' kabaraka' -na Pojanci Alata'ala to bo'u, apa' Pojanci-na toe mpomonoa' -ta hi poncilo-na.
9For if the ministry of condemnation [be] glory, much rather the ministry of righteousness abounds in glory.
10Bohe moto kabaraka' -na Pojanci to ri'ulu. Tapi' ane tapopohibalia baraka' toe hante baraka' Pojanci to bo'u, ma'ala ta'uli': to ri'ulu uma-pi ria kabaraka' -na.
10For also that [which was] glorified is not glorified in this respect, on account of the surpassing glory.
11Apa' ane mobaraka' Pojanci to ri'ulu to hampai' -wadi, meliu-liu kabaraka' -na Pojanci to bo'u to tida duu' kahae-hae-na.
11For if that annulled [was introduced] with glory, much rather that which abides [subsists] in glory.
12Jadi', apa' bohe poncarumakaa-kai hi Pojanci Alata'ala to bo'u-e, daho' -kai mpopalele Kareba Lompe' hante kanoto-noto-na.
12Having therefore such hope, we use much boldness:
13Uma ria to kiwunii'. Uma-kai hewa nabi Musa owi, to mpowuni lio-na hante karamua-na. Nakaramuai lio-na bona to Yahudi uma mpohiloi pehini-na to mo'uncu moto duu' -na ora.
13and not according as Moses put a veil on his own face, so that the children of Israel should not fix their eyes on the end of that annulled.
14Pai' to Yahudi toera-rawo, tebohotii wo'o-rawo pekiri-ra, uma rapaha patuju-na Atura Pue'. Duu' rata tempo toi, ane mpobasa-ra sura Pojanci to mahae, ma'ala ta'uli': ria oa' -pidi karamua to mpoputu' pekiri-ra. Sampale ane mepangala' -ra hi Kristus, pai' monoto-di nono-ra.
14But their thoughts have been darkened, for unto this day the same veil remains in reading the old covenant, unremoved, which in Christ is annulled.
15Duu' rata tempo toi, ane mpobasa-ra sura to na'uki' nabi Musa, ma'ala ta'uli' teputu' oa' -pidi nono-ra hante karamua.
15But unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil lies upon their heart.
16Aga ane mobali' -mi nono-ra pai' -ra mepangala' -mi hi Pue', karamua toe telali moto-mi ngkai nono-ra.
16But when it shall turn to [the] Lord, the veil is taken away.)
17Apa' Pue', Hi'a-mi Inoha' Tomoroli'. Pai' ane Inoha' Pue' mo'oha' hi rala nono-ta, tebahaka-tamo ngkai hawe'ea to mpogaa' -ta ngkai Pue'.
17Now the Lord is the Spirit, but where the Spirit of [the] Lord [is, there is] liberty.
18Jadi', hawe'ea-ta to mepangala' hi Pue', uma-pi ria karamua to mpoputu' nono-ta. Ta'inca kabaraka' -na Pue', pai' baraka' -na toe mpobalii' ncuu-mi nono-ta. Kahaa-haea, katedoo-donihia baraka' Pue' hi rala tuwu' -ta duu' -na hibalia hante Hi'a-tamo. Inoha' Pue' moto-mi to mpobago bago toe hi rala nono-ta.
18But *we* all, looking on the glory of the Lord, with unveiled face, are transformed according to the same image from glory to glory, even as by [the] Lord [the] Spirit.
