Ephesians

4

1Ngkai toe-mi ompi' -ompi', ohe'i paresa' ngkai aku' to ratarungku' sabana pobago-ku hi Pue': kuparesai' -koi bona mo'ingku-koi hewa to masipato' hi ana' Alata'ala, apa' lawi' nakio' -mokoi jadi' ana' -na.
1*I*, the prisoner in [the] Lord, exhort you therefore to walk worthy of the calling wherewith ye have been called,
2Kana dingki' nono-ta pai' mo'olu oa' kehi-ta hi butu nyala-na. Neo' mpotima' kasalaa' doo, agina mosabara pai' moloe ahi' -ta hi himpau kita'.
2with all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, bearing with one another in love;
3Peloo-lompehi bona neo' ria posisalaa, apa' Inoha' Tomoroli' -mi to mpopohintuwu' -ta omea. Kahintuwuaa' -ta toe kana tapewili' lompe'.
3using diligence to keep the unity of the Spirit in the uniting bond of peace.
4Hawe'ea-ta to mepangala' hi Yesus Kristus, hewa to hawoto lau-ta-wadi, pai' hadua lau-wadi Inoha' Tomoroli' to hi rala nono-ta omea. Hibalia-wadi poncarumakaa-ta omea, apa' Alata'ala mpokio' -ta jadi' ana' -na.
4[There is] one body and one Spirit, as ye have been also called in one hope of your calling;
5Hadua-wadi Pue' -ta, hanyala-wadi pepangala' -ta, pai' hibalia wo'o-wadi karaniu' -ta hi petuku' -ta hi Pue' Yesus.
5one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
6Hadua lau-wadi Alata'ala to Tapotuama omea, pai' Hi'a to mpokuasai omea, to mpobago omea, pai' to mpo'ohai' -ta omea.
6one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in us all.
7Aga nau' ria kahibalia-ta toe, uma hibalia kola' -ta, apa' hi butu-butu dua-nata hore-hore rawai' pakulea' mpokamu bago Pue', ntuku' napa to nakolai' -taka Kristus.
7But to each one of us has been given grace according to the measure of the gift of the Christ.
8Toe pai' ria lolita Buku Tomoroli' owi to mpolowa Kristus, moni-na hewa toi: Ka'oti-na mpodagi bali' -na, ngkahe' -imi hilou hi po'ohaa' to hi kalangkoa-na, pai' -i mpobagi rasi' hi ntodea-na."
8Wherefore he says, Having ascended up on high, he has led captivity captive, and has given gifts to men.
9Napa batua-na lolita tohe'e? Ane ngkahe' -i hilou hi kalangkoa-na, tantu mana'u ncala' -i tumai hi kadingkia' -na, batua-na hi dunia' tohe'i.
9But that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth?
10Kristus to mana'u toei, Hi'a wo'o-wadi to ngkahe' hilou duu' -na mporata-i pohuraa to meliu kalangko-na ngkai hawe'ea to hi langi', bona Hi'a to mpokuasai butu nyala-na.
10He that descended is the same who has also ascended up above all the heavens, that he might fill all things;
11Kristus toe-imi to mpobagi rasi' hi topetuku' -na: hantongo' -ra nawai' pakulea' jadi' suro-na, hantongo' nawai' pakulea' jadi' nabi to mpohowa' lolita Alata'ala, hantongo' nawai' pakulea' mpopalele Kareba Lompe' hi tauna to ko'ia mpo'epei, pai' hantongo' wo'o nawai' pakulea' jadi' pangkeni to mpewili' pai' to mpotudui' hawe'ea topetuku' -na.
11and *he* has given some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some shepherds and teachers,
12Nabagi-taka rasi' toe bona hawe'ea topetuku' -na rarewai hono', bona tapakule' mpewili' bago-na pai' bona kamoroo-rohoa posidaia' -ta hante Hi'a pai' hi himpau ompi' hampepangalaa' -ta hi rala Woto Kristus.
12for the perfecting of the saints; with a view to [the] work of [the] ministry, with a view to the edifying of the body of Christ;
13Nabagi-taka rasi' toe, duu' -na rata mpai' tempo-na kita' omea jadi' hanono lau-ta-damo apa' kita' omea mpo'inca pai' mpopangala' Ana' Alata'ala. Kamoroo-rohoa pai' kamonoo-notoa-tamo, duu' -na uma-pi ria kakuraa' -ta, hibalia hante Kristus-tamo.
13until we all arrive at the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, at [the] full-grown man, at [the] measure of the stature of the fulness of the Christ;
14Ane hewa toe-tamo, uma-tapa hewa ana' -ana' to jolia rabagiu ba hewa rauniri to nawaro ngolu' hilou tumai. Uma-tapa katuku' -tuku' hinyai' tudui' -tudui', uma-pi ncaliu ta'ome' lolita tauna to doko' mpobagiu-ta hante akala-ra to mepanawu'.
14in order that we may be no longer babes, tossed and carried about by every wind of *that* teaching [which is] in the sleight of men, in unprincipled cunning with a view to systematized error;
15Uma-tapa jolia rabagiu apa' moroho-mi pengkamu-ta hi tudui' to makono hante nono to ma'ahi'. Kamoroo-rohoa pai' kamonoo-notoa-ta hi butu nyala-na, duu' -na hibalia-tamo hante Kristus. Kristus toei taponcawa Woo' -ta,
15but, holding the truth in love, we may grow up to him in all things, who is the head, the Christ:
16pai' kita' omea rarapai' -ki bagia ngkai Woto Kristus. Ane hi woto manusia', butu nyala bagia-na momeduncu lompe' pai' mome'umpu' lompe' bona jadi' hawoto lau. Wae wo'o kita' to mepangala' hi Kristus: ngkai posidaia' -ta hante Hi'a, mosidai' -tamo hi himpau kita'. Pai' ane butu-butu dua-nata hore-hore mpewili' bago to nabagii-taka Pue', kamoroo-rohoa petuku' -ta hi Pue', pai' katedoo-donihia kahintuwuaa' -ta hadua bo hadua sabana ahi' -ta hi himpau kita'.
16from whom the whole body, fitted together, and connected by every joint of supply, according to [the] working in [its] measure of each one part, works for itself the increase of the body to its self-building up in love.
17Ngkai toe-mi, hante kuasa to nawai' -ka Pue' tohe'i, ku'uli' pai' kuparesai' -koi hante kanoto-noto-na: neo' -pi nituku' po'ingku tauna to uma mpo'incai Alata'ala, apa' uma mokalaua pekiri-ra.
17This I say therefore, and testify in [the] Lord, that ye should no longer walk as [the rest of] the nations walk in [the] vanity of their mind,
18Mobengi nono-ra. Uma raratai katuwua' to ngkai Alata'ala, apa' uma mpu'u ra'incai tudui' to makono ngkai Alata'ala. Uma ra'incai apa' ngkai kamotu'a nono-ra.
18being darkened in understanding, estranged from the life of God by reason of the ignorance which is in them, by reason of the hardness of their hearts,
19Uma-pi ra'incai me'ea', alaa-na mpotuku' -ra konoa woto-ra to dada'a, pai' rapokono rahi mpobabehi butu nyala gau' to uma tumotoa.
19who having cast off all feeling, have given themselves up to lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greedy unsatisfied lust.
20Hiaa' koi', bela gau' to hewa toe to natudui' -kokoi Kristus.
20But *ye* have not thus learnt the Christ,
21Tantu ni'epe-mi libu' -na, pai' ngkai posidaia' -ni hante Hi'a ratudui' -mokoi tudui' to makono to tarata ngkai Yesus.
21if ye have heard him and been instructed in him according as [the] truth is in Jesus;
22Ratudui' -mokoi hewa toi: kana nibahakai po'ingku-ni to ri'ulu to nituku' kako'ia-ni mepangala' hi Pue'. Hawe'ea kahinaa to nituku' nto'u toe mpopanawu' -koi pai' mpogero katuwu' -ni.
22[namely] your having put off according to the former conversation the old man which corrupts itself according to the deceitful lusts;
23Ratudui' -koi mpobahaka po'ingku-ni to ri'ulu toe, pai' mpopebo'ui nono bo pekiri-ni hi Alata'ala.
23and being renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24and [your] having put on the new man, which according to God is created in truthful righteousness and holiness.
25Toe-mi ompi', bahakai mpu'u-mi po'ingku-ni to ri'ulu toe: neo' -pi moboa', agina mpo'uli' to monoa' hi doo, apa' kita' omea bagia ngkai Woto Kristus-tamo.
25Wherefore, having put off falsehood, speak truth every one with his neighbour, because we are members one of another.
26Ane moroe, neo' roe-ta tohe'e mpakeni-ta mojeko'. Neo' -ta moroe duu' limpa eo,
26Be angry, and do not sin; let not the sun set upon your wrath,
27bona neo' mpai' ria loga-na Magau' Anudaa' mposori-ta.
27neither give room for the devil.
28Tauna to biasa manako, neo' -pi-hawo manako oa'. Agina mobago-ra hante pale-ra moto mpali' pongkoni' -ra, bona ma'ala-ra mpobagii doo to nakakurai'.
28Let the stealer steal no more, but rather let him toil, working what is honest with [his] hands, that he may have to distribute to him that has need.
29Neo' ria lolita to dada'a howa' ngkai wiwi-ta. Agina mpohowa' lolita to mpotulungi pai' mporohoi nono doo, hewa to masipato'. Lolita to hewa toe mpokeni kalompea' hi tauna to mpo'epe.
29Let no corrupt word go out of your mouth, but if [there be] any good one for needful edification, that it may give grace to those that hear [it].
30Pelompehi po'ingku-ta bona neo' mpopedahi nono Inoha' Tomoroli' to nawai' -taka Alata'ala. Kiwoi-e': Inoha' Tomoroli' toei hewa saa' hi rala nono-ta, apa' Hi'a to jadi' pompetonoi-na kakita' -na bagia-na Alata'ala. Ngkai karia-na Inoha' Tomoroli' hi rala nono-ta toe, monoa' -mi ta'inca karata mpai' tempo-na Alata'ala mpobahaka mpu'u-ta ngkai dunia' to dada'a toi.
30And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with which ye have been sealed for [the] day of redemption.
31Jadi', bahaka-mi hawe'ea kehi to hewa toi: jolia peda' nono, moroe pai' mowuku nono, motuda', metipo' pai' metuntui'-- bahaka-mi omea hante hawe'ea kehi ntani' -na to dada'a.
31Let all bitterness, and heat of passion, and wrath, and clamour, and injurious language, be removed from you, with all malice;
32Kana lompe' nono-ta pai' momepoka'ahi' -ta hadua bo hadua, pai' mpo'ampungi sala' doo, hewa Alata'ala mpo'ampungi sala' -ta sabana posidaia' -ta hante Kristus.
32and be to one another kind, compassionate, forgiving one another, so as God also in Christ has forgiven you.
