Ephesians

6

1Ana' -ana', tuku' hawa' totu'a-ni hewa kampotuku' -ni Pue', apa' toe to masipato' nibabehi.
1Children, obey your parents in [the] Lord, for this is just.
2Hi rala Buku Tomoroli' te'uki' parenta toi: "Kana tabila' tina pai' tuama-ta." Ngkai parenta to hampulu', lako' toi-di parenta to ria janci-na.
2Honour thy father and thy mother, which is the first commandment with a promise,
3Janci toe: "Ane tabila' tina pai' tuama-ta, lompe' pai' moloe tuwu' -ta hi rala dunia' toi."
3that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest be long-lived on the earth.
4Pai' koi' to tuama, neo' nipedahi nono ana' -ni. Pewili' -ra-dile, tudui' pai' paresai' -ra hante paresa' to ngkai Pue'.
4And [ye] fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in [the] discipline and admonition of [the] Lord.
5Ompi' -ompi' -ku to rapobatua, tuku' hawa' maradika-ni hi rala dunia' toi. Bila' pai' pengkorui-ra ngkai kabula nono-ni. Toe nibabehi hewa pengkoru-ni hi Kristus.
5Bondmen, obey masters according to flesh, with fear and trembling, in simplicity of your heart as to the Christ;
6Neo' nibabehi toe nto'u-na nahilo maradika-ni-wadi bona ngalai' ra'une' manusia' -wada-koi. Mobago-koi hewa batua Kristus to mpotuku' konoa Alata'ala hante nono mpu'u.
6not with eye-service as men-pleasers; but as bondmen of Christ, doing the will of God from [the] soul,
7Mobago hante kagoe' nono-ni, niponcawa pobago-ni hi Pue', uma muntu' hi manusia'.
7serving with good will as to the Lord, and not to men;
8Penonoi-koi: butu dua tauna to mpobabehi bago to lompe' bate mporata hiwili-na ngkai Pue', lompe' batua lompe' to bela-i batua.
8knowing that whatever good each shall do, this he shall receive of [the] Lord, whether bond or free.
9Pai' koi' -koiwo to ramaradika, wae wo'o-koiwo kehi-ni hi batua-ni. Neo' -koiwo nipongasai' -ra. Apa' penonoi-koi: koi' to ramaradika pai' batua-nie, hadua lau-wadi Pue' -ni, Hi'a-mi Pue' to hi rala suruga. Uma-i-hana mpelence tauna.
9And, masters, do the same things towards them, giving up threatening, knowing that both their and your Master is in heaven, and there is no acceptance of persons with him.
10Ka'omea-na ompi', kana moroho-ta hante karohoa to tarata ngkai kabaraka' -na Pue', lawi' mosidai' -tamo hante Hi'a.
10For the rest, brethren, be strong in [the] Lord, and in the might of his strength.
11Henta-mi hawe'ea rewa mpanga'e to naporodo-taka Alata'ala, bona moroho pokore-ta mpo'ewa akala-akala Magau' Anudaa'.
11Put on the panoply of God, that ye may be able to stand against the artifices of the devil:
12Apa' hi panga'e-ta toi-e, uma-ta mpo'ewa manusia'. Mpo'ewa-ta to mokuasa pai' anu mobaraka' to uma kahiloa. Mpo'ewa-ta tadulako-tadulako kabengia to mokuasa hi wongko dunia'. Mpo'ewa-ta wori' nyala seta pai' anudaa' to mpokuasai raoa.
12because our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against principalities, against authorities, against the universal lords of this darkness, against spiritual [power] of wickedness in the heavenlies.
13Ngkai toe-mi, henta-mi hawe'ea rewa mpanga'e to ngkai Alata'ala, bona ane rata eo panga'ea, tapakule' moto mpai' mpo'ewa perumpa' -perumpa' bali', bona rata hi kahudua panga'ea, bate moroho oa' pokore-ta.
13For this reason take [to you] the panoply of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having accomplished all things, to stand.
14Jadi', pakaroho mpu'u pokore-ta hante rewa mpanga'e to ngkai Alata'ala. Pakaroho petuku' -ta hi tudui' to makono, taponcawa salepe' to taperii hi hope' -ta bona neo' -ta lempe'. Pakanoa' po'ingku-ta, taponcawa baju ahe' to mpetalawai' woto-ta ngkai pesori.
14Stand therefore, having girt about your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
15Kana sadia-ta mpopalele Kareba Lompe' to mpopohintuwu' manusia' hante Alata'ala, taponcawa sapatu' to mpakaroho pokore-ta.
15and shod your feet with [the] preparation of the glad tidings of peace:
16Pai' hi butu nyala-na kana moroho pepangala' -ta hi Alata'ala-wadi. Pepangala' -ta toe taponcawa kaliawo to tatamaeo ncuu. Hante pepangala' -ta toe, ma'ala tajungki' hawe'ea rewa mpanga'e to memoho' to natoa' -taka anudaa'.
16besides all [these], having taken the shield of faith with which ye will be able to quench all the inflamed darts of the wicked one.
17Kana tasarumaka Alata'ala to mpobahaka-tamo ngkai huku' jeko' -ta. Katebahaka-ta ngkai huku' jeko' -ta toe taponcawa songko ahe' to mporohoi-ta bona tida nono-ta. Pai' Lolita Alata'ala taponcawa piho' to ngkai Inoha' Tomoroli'.
17Have also the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God's word;
18Pai' hi rala panga'e-ni mpo'ewa Magau' Anudaa' toe, mosampaya pai' mekakae oa' -koi hi Alata'ala. Hi butu nyala-na mosampaya-koi ntuku' petete' Inoha' Tomoroli'. Hi rala posampaya-ni toe, kana mojaga oa' pai' neo' lempe', neo' nibahakai mposampayai hawe'ea topepangala' hi Pue' Yesus.
18praying at all seasons, with all prayer and supplication in [the] Spirit, and watching unto this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints;
19Pai' niposampayai wo'o-a-kuwo, bona nto'u-ku mololita, Alata'ala mpowai' -a pololita to manopa', bona bia' -a mpoparata Kareba Lompe' to uma ra'incai manusia' ngkai owi.
19and for me in order that utterance may be given to me in [the] opening of my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the glad tidings,
20Pue' Yesus mpo'ongko' -a jadi' suro-na, bona mpokeni-a Kareba Lompe', duu' -na ohe'i-ama hi rala tarungku'. Jadi', posampayai-a-kuwo bona bia' -a mpololita Kareba Lompe' toe hewa to kasipato' -na.
20for which I am an ambassador [bound] with a chain, that I may be bold in it as I ought to speak.
21Jadi', bona ni'inca kababeiwa-ku pai' kababeiwa-na pobago-ku, mposuro-a ompi' -ta Tikhikus tilou, bona hi'a-damo mpo'uli' -kokoi napa omea to majadi' hi rehe'i. Tikhikus toei, ompi' -ta to tape'ahi', pai' topobago to tida hi rala pobago Pue'.
21But in order that *ye* also may know what concerns me, how I am getting on, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in [the] Lord, shall make all things known to you;
22Toe pai' kusuro-i tilou bona mpo'uli' -kokoi hi retu kabeiwa-nakai, bona tetanta'u nono-ni.
22whom I have sent to you for this very thing, that ye may know of our affairs and that he may encourage your hearts.
23Kusarumaka Alata'ala to Tuama pai' Pue' Yesus Kristus mpowai' kalompea' tuwu' hi hawe'ea ompi' hampepangalaa' -ku. Kusarumaka Alata'ala mpodonihii ahi' -ni pai' pepangala' -ni.
23Peace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God [the] Father and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.
24Pue' mpogane' hawe'ea tauna to mpoka'ahi' Pue' -ta Yesus Kristus hante ahi' to uma ria ka'oraa-na.
24Grace with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruption.
