1Jadi', apa' meliu kabohe tuwu' -na Yesus ngkai mala'eka-e, kana tapelompehi mpu'u-e' mpokakamu kareba to ta'epe-mi, nee-neo' mpai' kamolaa-laaa-ta ngkai pepangala' -ta.
1For this reason we should give heed more abundantly to the things [we have] heard, lest in any way we should slip away.
2Apa' Atura Pue' to raparata hante wiwi mala'eka hi ntu'a-ta owi, uma ria kabalia' -na, pai' tauna to uma mpotuku' ba mpangala' bate mporata huku' ntuku' kehi-ra.
2For if the word which was spoken by angels was firm, and every transgression and disobedience received just retribution,
3Jadi', hangkedi' katomo-na pehuku' Alata'ala hi tauna to uma mposaile' kareba kalompea' to naparata Ana' Alata'ala hi kita'! Apa' meliu kalompe' -na kareba toe ngkai lolita to raparata mala'eka owi. Jadi', ane uma tasaile' kalompea' toe, bate uma-tale tebahaka ngkai huku' -e! Pue' Yesus moto-mi to lomo' -na mpopalele kareba kalompea' toe. Pai' tauna to mpo'epe kareba toe ngkai wiwi-na moto-mi, hira' to mpotutura-taka, alaa-na ta'inca kamakono-na.
3how shall *we* escape if we have been negligent of so great salvation, which, having had its commencement in being spoken [of] by the Lord, has been confirmed to us by those who have heard;
4Pai' Alata'ala mporohoi tena posabi' -ra, apa' nawai' -ra baraka' mpobabehi wori' nyala tanda mekoncehi pai' anu mobaraka', pai' ria wo'o-ra to nabagii baraka' ngkai Inoha' Tomoroli' ntuku' konoa-na moto, bona ria pakulea' -ra mpobago bago-na.
4God bearing, besides, witness with [them] to [it], both by signs and wonders, and various acts of power, and distributions of [the] Holy Spirit, according to his will?
5Bela mala'eka to mporata kuasa ngkai Alata'ala bona moparenta hi dunia' to bo'u mpai', hewa dunia' to talolita toi-e.
5For he has not subjected to angels the habitable world which is to come, of which we speak;
6Kuasa toe mpai' nawai' Alata'ala hi manusia'. Hi rala Buku Tomoroli' ria lolita to mpakanoto toe, moni-na hewa toi: O Pue' Ala, napa-ra-rawo manusia' pai' lue' nupenonoi-rae? Napa-i ana' manusia' pai' -i nutapari-e?
6but one has testified somewhere, saying, What is man, that thou rememberest him, or son of man that thou visitest him?
7Nupajadi' -i tepahi'ara' hangkedi' ngkai mala'eka, Nupomobohe-i pai' nuwai' -i huraa karabilaa'.
7Thou hast made him some little inferior to the angels; thou hast crowned him with glory and honour, [and hast set him over the works of thy hands;]
8Nuwai' -i kuasa mpoparentai butu nyala-na."
8thou hast subjected all things under his feet. For in subjecting all things to him, he has left nothing unsubject to him. But now we see not yet all things subjected to *him*,
9Aga tahilo-imi Yesus: bula-na tuwu' hi dunia' toi, tepahi'ara' -i hangkedi' ngkai mala'eka. Pai' tempo toi rapomobohe-imi pai' -i rawai' huraa karabilaa', apa' mporata-imi kaparia duu' -na mate. Apa' ngkai kabula rala-na Alata'ala, nabotuhi bona Yesus rapatehi jadi' tolo' woto hawe'ea manusia'.
9but we see Jesus, who [was] made some little inferior to angels on account of the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; so that by the grace of God he should taste death for every thing.
10Alata'ala mpopajadi' butu nyala-na, pai' hawe'ea to ria mpotuku' kabotu' -na. Patuju-na, doko' -i mpo'ongko' -ra tauna napajadi' ana' -na pai' napomobohe-ra. Toe pai' nabotuhi bona Yesus kana mporata kaparia duu' -na mate. Masipato' lia kabotu' -na Alata'ala toe, apa' ngkai kaparia to narata Yesus toe, Yesus jadi' Topetolo' to uma ria kakuraa' -na, to mpotate ohea to tatara bona mporata kalompea'.
10For it became him, for whom [are] all things, and by whom [are] all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make perfect the leader of their salvation through sufferings.
11Yesus mpomoroli' -ta ngkai jeko' -ta. Hi'a to mpomoroli' pai' kita' to napomoroli', hadua lau-damo Tuama-ta. Toe pai' uma-i me'ea' mpo'uli' kanapo'ompi' -ta.
11For both he that sanctifies and those sanctified [are] all of one; for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12Na'uli' Yesus mpo'uli' -ki Alata'ala hewa tohe'i: Kupomobohe hanga' -nu hi ompi' -ompi' -ku. Hi poromua topetuku' -nu morona' -a mpo'une' -ko."
12saying, I will declare thy name to my brethren; in [the] midst of [the] assembly will I sing thy praises.
13Na'uli' tena Yesus: Poncarumakaa-ku, Pue' Alata'ala-wadi." Ohe'i-ama, hangkaa-ngkania hante ana' -ana' to nawai' -ka Alata'ala."
13And again, I will trust in him. And again, Behold, I and the children which God has given me.
14Tauna to nahanga' ana' toera, manusia' hante wotoloka' to kana mate. Jadi', toe-mi pai' Yesus wo'o mewali manusia' pai' tuwu' hibalia hante manusia', bona ngkai kamate-na nagero kuasa Magau' Anudaa', to mpokeni kamatea hi manusia'.
14Since therefore the children partake of blood and flesh, he also, in like manner, took part in the same, that through death he might annul him who has the might of death, that is, the devil;
15Kamatea-na toe-mi to napo'ohea mpobahaka-ta ngkai kamatea. Apa' ri'ulu, tuwu' hewa batua ncuu-ta, apa' mpoka'eka' -ta kamatea.
15and might set free all those who through fear of death through the whole of their life were subject to bondage.
16Jadi', monoto-mi ta'inca: bela mala'eka to natulungi, kita' muli Abraham-hana to natulungi.
16For he does not indeed take hold of angels [by the hand], but he takes hold of the seed of Abraham.
17Toe pai' Yesus kana mewali manusia' pai' jadi' hibalia hante kita' ompi' -ompi' -na hi butu nyala-na, bona Hi'a jadi' Imam Bohe to ma'ahi' pai' to tida hi kampobago-na bago to nawai' -ki Alata'ala, mpohompo' jeko' ntodea.
17Wherefore it behoved him in all things to be made like to [his] brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things relating to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people;
18Yesus mporata kaparia nto'u-na rasori, toe pai' ma'ala-i mpotulungi tauna to rasori, apa' Hi'a, mporata pesori wo'o-i-hawo.
18for, in that himself has suffered, being tempted, he is able to help those that are being tempted.
