Hebrews

3

1Ompi' -ompi' to napobagia Alata'ala pai' to nakio' mesua' hi suruga! Penoto' kahema-nai Suro Alata'ala pai' Imam Bohe to taparasaya, Hi'a-mi Yesus.
1Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of [the] heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus,
2Tida-i mpokamu bago to nahubui-ki Alata'ala, hewa Musa wo'o owi tida mpokamu bago-na mpewili' tomi Alata'ala-- batua-na, mpewili' ntodea-na Alata'ala.
2who is faithful to him that has constituted him, as Moses also in all his house.
3Penoto' -i Yesus, apa' masipato' -i mporata pebila' to meliu ngkai Musa, hewa hadua tauna to mpowangu tomi meliu karabila' -na ngkai tomi to nawangu.
3For *he* has been counted worthy of greater glory than Moses, by how much he that has built it has more honour than the house.
4Butu tomi, bate ria-hawo to mpobabehi. Aga to mpobabehi butu nyala-na, Alata'ala.
4For every house is built by some one; but he who has built all things [is] God.
5Musa tida mpokamu bago-na mpewili' ntodea Alata'ala, hewa hadua topobago to tida mpokamu bago-na hi rala tomi pue' -na. Pai' napa to nababehi Musa toe mpowalatu kalompea' to napopehuwu Alata'ala ngkabokoa'.
5And Moses indeed [was] faithful in all his house, as a ministering servant, for a testimony of the things to be spoken after;
6Hiaa' Kristus, bela-i muntu' topobago-wadi, Ana' Alata'ala mpu'u-i-hana, to tida mpokamu bago-na jadi' Pangkeni to mpohawai' hawe'ea ihi' tomi Alata'ala. Ihi' tomi Alata'ala toe, kita' toi-mi lau ompi', asala tida oa' nono-ta mposarumaka Yesus-wadi, pai' neo' -ta morara'.
6but Christ, as Son over his house, whose house are *we*, if indeed we hold fast the boldness and the boast of hope firm to the end.
7Jadi', ompi' -ompi', pe'epei paresa' Inoha' Tomoroli' to te'uki' hi rala Buku Tomoroli' owi. Na'uli' hewa toi: Eo toe lau, ane ni'epe-damo libu' Alata'ala-e,
7Wherefore, even as says the Holy Spirit, To-day if ye will hear his voice,
8neo' nipakatu'a nono-ni hewa ntu'a-ni owi, to nakeni nabi Musa malai ngkai tana' Mesir. Ntu'a-ni owi mposapuaka Alata'ala pai' rasori-i hi papada to wao' raponciloi-ki kamosabara-na.
8harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness;
9Na'uli' Alata'ala: `Ntu'a-ni mposori-a pai' mpemai-mai roe-ku, hiaa' bo rahilo hante mata-ra moto-mi napa to kubabehi-raka rala-na opo' mpulu' mpae.
9where your fathers tempted [me], by proving [me], and saw my works forty years.
10Toe pai' gigi nono-ku hi tauna toera, apa' mekahia' oa' -ra, oja' -ra mpotuku' konoa-ku.
10Wherefore I was wroth with this generation, and said, They always err in heart; and *they* have not known my ways;
11Moroe-a, pai' alaa-ku mosumpa, ku'uli': uma mpu'u-ra mpai' ma'ala mesua' hi rala ngata to ke kuwai' -raka, pai' uma-ra mporatai pento'oa dohe-ku.'"
11so I swore in my wrath, If they shall enter into my rest.
12Ompi' -ompi', pelompehi-koie', nee-neo' mpai' ria-koi to hewa toe kadada'a nono-ni, neo' mpai' ria-koi to uma mepangala' alaa-na nitilingkurihi-mi Alata'ala to Tuwu'!
12See, brethren, lest there be in any one of you a wicked heart of unbelief, in turning away from [the] living God.
13Agina momerohoi ngkanono-koi butu-butu eo-na, bona neo' mpai' ria-koi to nabagiu jeko' duu' -na motu'a-mi nono-ni. Momerohoi ngkanono-koi bula-ni tuwu' -pidi hi tempo to rahanga' "eo toe lau,"-- batua-na, bula-na ria-pidi loga-ni.
13But encourage yourselves each day, as long as it is called To-day, that none of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14Apa' kita' tohe'i, mporata-tamo bagia hi rala Kristus, asala napa to taparasaya ngkai lomo' -na takakamu ncuu hante nono to uma morara' duu' hi ka'omea-na.
14For we are become companions of the Christ if indeed we hold the beginning of the assurance firm to the end;
15Momerohoi ngkanono-koi butu-butu eo-na, hewa to te'uki' hi rala ayat to tabasa we'i to mpo'uli': Eo toe lau, ane ni'epe-damo libu' Alata'ala-e, neo' nipakatu'a nono-ni, hewa ntu'a-ni owi to mesapuaka."
15in that it is said, To-day if ye will hear his voice, do not harden your hearts, as in the provocation;
16Apa' ane to Yahudi to napakeni nabi Musa malai ngkai tana' Mesir owi, ra'epe moto-mi libu' Alata'ala, tapi' ka'omea-na rasapuaka.
16(for who was it, who, having heard, provoked? but [was it] not all who came out of Egypt by Moses?
17Toe pai' nakaroe-ra rala-na opo' mpulu' mpae. Mate omea-ramo hi rala papada to wao' sabana jeko' -ra.
17And with whom was he wroth forty years? [Was it] not with those who had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
18To Yahudi toe-ramole to natoa' Alata'ala hante sumpa-na to mpo'uli': "Uma mpu'u-ra ma'ala mporata pento'oa dohe-ku." Uma-ra napiliu mporata pento'oa-na toe, apa' uma-ra mengkoru hi Hi'a.
18And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to those who had not hearkened to the word?
19Jadi', monoto-mi ta'inca ka'uma-ra rapiliu mesua' pai' mporata pento'oa dohe Alata'ala apa' uma-ra mepangala'.
19And we see that they could not enter in on account of unbelief;)
