1Oti toe, Pue' Yesus mpelihi wo'o-mi pitu mpulu' topetuku' to ntani' -na pai' nahubui-ra momako' rodua-rodua meri'ulu ngkai Hi'a hilou hi butu-butu ngata to natara mpai'.
1Now after these things, the Lord also appointed seventy others, and sent them two by two ahead of him literally, “before his face” into every city and place, where he was about to come.
2Na'uli' mpo'uli' -raka: "Tauna to doko' mpo'epe Kareba Lompe' ma'ala rarapai' -ki pae to taha'. Wori' pae to kana rapepae, aga topepae uma-ra wori'. Toe pai' kana mekakae-koi hi pue' bonea, niperapi' bona nahubui tauna hilou mepae hi bonea-na.
2Then he said to them, “The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest.
3"Hilou-mokoi, aga pelompehi, apa' kuhubui-koi hilou hi olo' tauna to dada'a. Koi' mpai' hewa bima hi olo' serigala.
3 Go your ways. Behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.
4Neo' ngkeni karepe' doi ba boku ba sapatu' ropasa. Neo' mengkahae mpololitai tauna hi lengko ohea.
4 Carry no purse, nor wallet, nor sandals. Greet no one on the way.
5"Ane mesua' -koi hi rala tomi hantomi, ncaliu ni'uli': `Kalompea' ngkai Pue' rata hi koi' pue' tomi!'
5 Into whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace be to this house.’
6Ane lompe' nono-ra pue' tomi mpotarima-koi, bate nagane' mpu'u-ra mpai' Pue' Ala. Aga ane uma-rada dota mpotarima-koi, uma-ra mpai' mporata rasi' ngkai pegane' -ni tetu.
6 If a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you.
7Hantomi lau-wadi po'ohaa' -ni, neo' -koi pantoli-ntoli hi kahantomi-na bula-ni mpokeni Kareba Lompe' hi ngata tetu. Pongkoni' napa to rawai' -kokoi, koni' -mi-hana, apa' topobago masipato' mpotarima gaji' -na.
7 Remain in that same house, eating and drinking the things they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Don’t go from house to house.
8"Ane mesua' -koi hi rala ngata pai' -koi ratarima, koni' -mi-hana napa to ratonu-kokoi.
8 Into whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat the things that are set before you.
9Paka'uri' topeda' to hi rala ngata, pai' uli' -raka pue' ngata: `Rata-mi tempo-na, Alata'ala jadi' Magau' hi laintongo' -ni.'
9 Heal the sick who are therein, and tell them, ‘The Kingdom of God has come near to you.’
10Aga ane mesua' -koi hi rala ngata pai' uma-koi ratarima, hilou-mokoi hi karajaa pai' mpo'uli':
10 But into whatever city you enter, and they don’t receive you, go out into its streets and say,
11`Nau' awu ngata-ni to mentaka' hi palanta' witi' -kai, kitonta bona nihilo. Aga kiwoi-koie': neo' rata-mi tempo-na Alata'ala jadi' Magau'!'"
11 ‘Even the dust from your city that clings to us, we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the Kingdom of God has come near to you.’
12Na'uli' wo'o-mi Yesus hi topetuku' -na: "Ku'uli' -kokoi, hi Eo Kiama, meliu pehuku' -na Alata'ala mpohuku' pue' ngata toera ngkai pehuku' -na hi pue' ngata Sodom owi.
12 I tell you, it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.
13"Silaka-koi to Yahudi to mo'oha' hi ngata Korazim pai' hi Betsaida! Wori' moto-mi tanda mekoncehi kubabehi hi ngata-ni, aga uma oa' -koi medea ngkai jeko' -ni. Ane rapa' -na tanda mekoncehi toe rababehi hi rala ngata Tirus pai' Sidon, ke mahae-ramo-rana medea ngkai jeko' -ra, nau' bela-ra to Yahudi. Ke mpo'ala' karu' -ramo rapohea, pai' mohura-ra mpohawui' woto-ra hante awu, tanda kasoho' nono-ra.
13 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon which were done in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14Jadi', hi Eo Kiama mpai', meliu-pi pehuku' -na Alata'ala hi koi' ngkai pehuku' -na hi to Tirus pai' to Sidon.
14 But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.
15"Pai' koi' wo'o to Kapernaum! Ha ni'uli' -koina na'ongko' napomolangko-koi mpai' Alata'ala-e? Uma-e'! Natadi pai' nahuku' lau-dakoi mpai'."
15 You, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades. Hades is the lower realm of the dead, or Hell.
16Oti toe, Yesus mololita tena hi topetuku' -na, na'uli': "Tauna to mpotarima lolita-ni, batua-na lolita-ku Aku' to ratarima. Tauna to mposapuaka-koi, batua-na Aku' to rasapuaka. Pai' tauna to mposapuaka-a, mposapuaka wo'o-ra Pue' Ala to mposuro-a."
16 Whoever listens to you listens to me, and whoever rejects you rejects me. Whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.”
17Ba hangkuja kahae-na ngkai toe, nculii' -ramo topetuku' to pitu mpulu' toera. Goe' mpu'u-mi nono-ra, ra'uli' -ki Yesus: "Pue', bangku' seta wo'o mengkoru hi kai' pai' metibo' -ra, ane kipopalai-ra hante hanga' -nu."
17The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!”
18Na'uli' Yesus: "Kuhilo-di Magau' Anudaa' -e monawu' ngkai langi' hewa kila'!
18He said to them, “I saw Satan having fallen like lightning from heaven.
19Jadi', bona ni'inca: kuwai' -mokoi kuasa, bona ma'ala-koi mpolisa ule ba lipa pai' mpodagi hawe'ea karohoa bali' -ta. Uma hema to mposerohi-koi.
19 Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you.
20Aga nau' wae, neo' nipokagoe' kamengkoru-ra seta hi koi'. Agina mpokagoe' -koi kate'uki' -nami hanga' -ni hi rala suruga."
20 Nevertheless, don’t rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
21Nto'u toe Yesus nakuasai Inoha' Tomoroli', pai' -i mololita ngkai kagoe' nono-na, na'uli': "O Mama, Pue' langi' pai' dunia'! Mpo'uli' -a tarima kasi, apa' hawe'ea toe lau nupopohiloi-raka tauna to uma pe'incai, tapi' nuwunii' -raka tauna to nginca pai' tauna to pante. Apa' wae-mi konoa-nu Mama.
21In that same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, “I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in your sight.”
22"Hawe'ea-na natonu-maka Tuama-ku. Uma ria haduaa to mpo'inca kahema-ku Aku' Ana' Alata'ala, muntu' Tuama-ku to mpo'inca-a. Wae wo'o uma ria to mpo'incai hema-i Tuama-ku, muntu' Aku' Ana' -na to mpo'inca-i, pai' hema-hema to kupopo'incai kahema-nai Tuama-ku."
22Turning to the disciples, he said, “All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is, except the Father, and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whomever the Son desires to reveal him.”
23Ngkai ree, bona neo' ra'epe doo, me'ili' -imi hi ana'guru-na, na'uli' -raka: "Morasi' mpu'u-koi, apa' nihilo-mi-koina hawe'ea tohe'i.
23Turning to the disciples, he said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see the things that you see,
24Apa' wori' moto nabi pai' magau' owi to doko' mpohilo napa to nihilo koi' toi, aga uma-rana rahiloi. Doko' lia-ra mpo'epe napa to ni'epe-mi koi', aga uma-rana ra'epei."
24 for I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see the things which you see, and didn’t see them, and to hear the things which you hear, and didn’t hear them.”
25Ria hadua guru agama Yahudi to doko' mpemai-mai kasala' petompoi' Yesus. Napekune' -i: "Guru, napa-hawo to kana kubabehi bona mporata-a katuwua' to lompe' duu' kahae-hae-na?"
25Behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”
26Na'uli' Yesus: "Napa to te'uki' hi rala Atura Pue'? Beiwa to nubasa?"
26He said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you read it?”
27Natompoi' guru agama toei: `Kana tapoka'ahi' Pue' -ta Pue' Alata'ala hante nono-ta mpu'u, tatonu hawe'ea katuwu' -ta hi Hi'a, tapoka'ahi' -i hudu pakulea' -ta, pai' hudu inca-ta.' Pai' `Kana tapoka'ahi' doo-ta hewa pompoka'ahi' -ta woto-ta moto.'"
27He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; Deuteronomy 6:5 and your neighbor as yourself.” Leviticus 19:18
28Na'uli' Yesus: "Kono-mi petompoi' -nu. Babehi-mi hewa tetu, mporata moto-ko mpai' katuwua' to lompe'."
28He said to him, “You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live.”
29Aga guru agama toei uma dota radagi, mpoperaha-i kamonoa' po'ingku-na. Toe pai' na'uli': "Hiaa' hema doo-ku to kana kupoka'ahi' -e?"
29But he, desiring to justify himself, asked Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?”
30Natompoi' Yesus: "Ria hadua tomane to mako' ngkai Yerusalem mana'u hilou hi ngata Yerikho. Hi lengko ohea-i mpohirua' -ki toperampaki. Ra'agoi-i rewa-na pai' pohea-na, pai' -i rapao' duu' -na neo' mate, pai' rapalahii moto-imi hi ohea.
30Jesus answered, “A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who both stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31Ko'ia mahae ngkai ree, ria wo'o-hawo hadua imam ntara hi ohea toe. Kanahilo-na tauna to weho toei, napelelii' pai' kaliliu moto-i.
31 By chance a certain priest was going down that way. When he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32Wae wo'o, hadua topobago hi Tomi Alata'ala liu hi ree. Kanahilo-na tauna to weho toei, napelelii' wo'o-i-wadi-hawo pai' -i kaliliu.
32 In the same way a Levite also, when he came to the place, and saw him, passed by on the other side.
33"Uma mahae ngkai ree, liu wo'o-hawo hadua to Samaria to bula-na hi pomakoa' -na. Kanahilo-na tauna to weho toei, metumu' -mi ahi' -na.
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he traveled, came where he was. When he saw him, he was moved with compassion,
34Kahilou-nami mpomohui' -i, nabohoi' weho-na hante lana pai' anggur pai' nawewe. Oti toe napopehawi' -i hi keledai-na pai' nakeni-i hilou hi tomi torata, pai' napodoo-i hi ree.
34 came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. He set him on his own animal, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, and gave them to the host, and said to him, ‘Take care of him. Whatever you spend beyond that, I will repay you when I return.’
36Hudu-mi jarita-na toe, napekune' Yesus hi guru agama toei, na'uli': "Ntuku' pomporataa-nu, ngkai to tolu toera, hema-ra to ma'ahi' hi doo to rarampaki toei?"
36 Now which of these three do you think seemed to be a neighbor to him who fell among the robbers?”
37Natompoi' guru agama toei: "Tauna to mpotulungi-i." Na'uli' Yesus: "Koi' -moko, babehi wo'o-kowo hewa tetu."
37He said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”
38Rala pomakoa' -ra toe, Yesus pai' ana'guru-na mehani hi ngata. Hi rala ngata toe, ria hadua tobine to rahanga' Marta to mpotorata Yesus.
38It happened as they went on their way, he entered into a certain village, and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
39Ria wo'o ompi' -na Marta, tobine wo'o-wadi, hanga' -na Maria. Maria toei mohura mohu' hi witi' -na Yesus ntora mpe'epei lolita-na.
39She had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.
40Hiaa' Marta-hana, sese' -i-damo mpo'urusi torata. Kahilou-nami Marta hi Yesus pai' na'uli' -ki: "Pue', ha nupokono ompi' -ku tetui mpelele' -a mobago hadudua-ku! Uli' -ki pe' mpongawa' -ae."
40But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she came up to him, and said, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister left me to serve alone? Ask her therefore to help me.”
41Na'uli' Pue' Yesus: "Ee' Marta! Sese' pai' kawuhe rahi-ko mpenonoi to wori' nyala.
41Jesus answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things,
42Hiaa' kakono-na, to paraluu nubabehi hanyala lau-wadi, toe-mi mpo'epe Lolita Alata'ala. Ane Maria, napelihi-mi bagia to lompe', pai' bagia toe uma mpai' ra'alai' ngkai hi'a."
42 but one thing is needed. Mary has chosen the good part, which will not be taken away from her.”
