¹Tôi sẽ kêu cầu cùng Ðức Chúa Trời, Phát tiếng hướng cùng Ðức Chúa Trời; Ngài ắt sẽ lắng tai nghe.

¹My cry goes to God! Indeed, I cry to God for help, and for him to listen to me.

²Trong Ngài gian truân tôi tìm cầu Chúa; Ban đêm tay tôi giơ thẳng lên không mỏi; Linh hồn tôi không chịu an ủi.

²In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord. My hand was stretched out in the night, and didn’t get tired. My soul refused to be comforted.

³Tôi nhớ đến Ðức Chúa Trời, bèn bồn chồn; Than thở, và thần linh tôi sờn mỏi.

⁴Chúa giữ mí mắt tôi mở ra; Tôi bị bối rối, không nói được.

⁴You hold my eyelids open. I am so troubled that I can’t speak.

⁵Tôi suy nghĩ về ngày xưa, Vì các năm đã qua.

⁵I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

⁶Ban đêm tôi nhắc lại bài hát tôi; Tôi suy gẫm trong lòng tôi, Và thần linh tôi tìm tòi kỹ càng.

⁶I remember my song in the night. I consider in my own heart; my spirit diligently inquires:

⁷Chúa há sẽ từ bỏ đến đời đời ư? Ngài há chẳng còn ban ơn nữa sao?

⁷“Will the Lord reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more?

⁸Sự nhơn từ Ngài há dứt đến mãi mãi ư? Lời hứa của Ngài há không thành đời đời sao?

⁸Has his loving kindness vanished forever? Does his promise fail for generations?

⁹Ðức Chúa Trời há quên làm ơn sao? Trong cơn giận Ngài há có khép lòng thương xót ư?

⁹Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?” Selah.

¹⁰Tôi bèn nói: Ðây là tật nguyền tôi; Nhưng tôi sẽ nhớ lại các năm về tay hữu của Ðấng Chí cao.

¹¹Tôi sẽ nhắc lại công việc của Ðức Giê-hô-va, Nhớ đến các phép lạ của Ngài khi xưa;

¹²Cũng sẽ ngẫm nghĩ về mọi công tác Chúa, Suy gẫm những việc làm của Ngài.

¹²I will also meditate on all your work, and consider your doings.

¹³Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời, chuyển động Chúa ở trong nơi thánh Có thần nào lớn bằng Ðức Chúa Trời chăng?

¹³Your way, God, is in the sanctuary. What god is great like God?

¹⁴Chúa là Ðức Chúa Trời hay làm phép lạ, Ðã tỏ cho biết quyền năng Chúa giữa các dân.

¹⁴You are the God who does wonders. You have made your strength known among the peoples.

¹⁵Chúa dùng cánh tay mình mà chuộc dân sự Chúa, Tức là con trai của Gia-cốp và của Giô-sép.

¹⁵You have redeemed your people with your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

¹⁶Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời, các nước đã thấy Chúa; Các nước đã thấy Chúa, bèn sợ; Những vực sâu cũng rúng động.

¹⁷Các mây đổ ra nước, Bầu trời vang ra tiếng. Và các tên Chúa bay đây đó.

¹⁸Tiếng sấm Chúa ở trong gió trốt; Chớp nhoáng soi sáng thế gian; Ðất bèn chuyển động và rung rinh.

¹⁸The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind. The lightnings lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook.

¹⁹Chuyển động Chúa ở trong biển, Các lối Chúa ở trong nước sâu, Còn các dấu bước Chúa không ai biết đến.

¹⁹Your way was through the sea; your paths through the great waters. Your footsteps were not known.

²⁰Chúa cậy tay Môi-se và A-rôn Mà dẫn dắt dân sự Ngài như một đoàn chiên.
