¹Now Yahweh said to Abram, “Get out of your country, and from your relatives, and from your father’s house, to the land that I will show you.

¹亚伯兰蒙　神呼召

²I will make of you a great nation. I will bless you and make your name great. You will be a blessing.

²我必使你成为大国，赐福给你，使你的名为大，你也必使别人得福，

³I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you. All of the families of the earth will be blessed in you.”

³给你祝福的，我必赐福给他；咒诅你的，我必咒诅他；地上的万族，都必因你得福。”

⁴So Abram went, as Yahweh had spoken to him. Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed out of Haran.

⁴亚伯兰就照着耶和华吩咐他的去了；罗得也和他同去。

⁵Abram took Sarai his wife, Lot his brother’s son, all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls whom they had gotten in Haran, and they went to go into the land of Canaan. Into the land of Canaan they came.

⁵亚伯兰离开哈兰的时候，已经七十五岁。亚伯兰带着他的妻子撒莱和侄儿罗得以及他们在哈兰所积蓄的一切财物，和所获得的人口，一同出来，要到迦南地去。后来他们到了迦南地。

⁶Abram passed through the land to the place of Shechem, to the oak of Moreh. The Canaanite was then in the land.

⁶亚伯兰穿过那地，到了示剑的地方，摩利的橡树那里。当时，迦南人住在那地。

⁷Yahweh appeared to Abram and said, “I will give this land to your seed or, offspring .” He built an altar there to Yahweh, who appeared to him.

⁷耶和华向亚伯兰显现，说：“我要把这地赐给你的后裔。”亚伯兰就在那里为向他显现的耶和华筑了一座祭坛。

⁸He left from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to Yahweh and called on the name of Yahweh.

⁸后来他从那里迁到伯特利东边的山地，搭起帐棚。西边是伯特利，东边是艾城；他在那里也为耶和华筑了一座祭坛，呼求耶和华的名。

⁹Abram traveled, going on still toward the South.

⁹亚伯兰又起程，渐渐移到南地去。

¹⁰There was a famine in the land. Abram went down into Egypt to live as a foreigner there, for the famine was severe in the land.

¹⁰亚伯兰下埃及当时，那地发生饥荒，亚伯兰就下到埃及去，要在那里寄居；因为那地的饥荒十分严重。

¹¹It happened, when he had come near to enter Egypt, that he said to Sarai his wife, “See now, I know that you are a beautiful woman to look at.

¹¹快要到达埃及的时候，亚伯兰对他的妻子撒莱说：“看哪，我知道你是个美貌的女人。

¹²It will happen, when the Egyptians will see you, that they will say, ‘This is his wife.’ They will kill me, but they will save you alive.

¹²埃及人看见你的时候，必会说：‘这是他的妻子’，他们就会杀我，却叫你活着。

¹³Please say that you are my sister, that it may be well with me for your sake, and that my soul may live because of you.”

¹³请你说你是我的妹妹，使我因你的缘故可以平安无事，我的性命也可以因你的缘故得以保全。”

¹⁴It happened that when Abram had come into Egypt, the Egyptians saw that the woman was very beautiful.

¹⁴果然，亚伯兰进入埃及的时候，埃及人就注视那女人，因为她十分美丽。

¹⁵The princes of Pharaoh saw her, and praised her to Pharaoh; and the woman was taken into Pharaoh’s house.

¹⁵法老的一些大臣看见了撒莱，就在法老面前称赞她；于是那女人被带进法老的宫里去。

¹⁶He dealt well with Abram for her sake. He had sheep, cattle, male donkeys, male servants, female servants, female donkeys, and camels.

¹⁶亚伯兰因这女人的缘故就被优待，得了许多牛羊、公驴、母驴、仆婢和骆驼。

¹⁷Yahweh plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram’s wife.

¹⁷耶和华因为亚伯兰的妻子撒莱的缘故，就用严重的灾病打击法老和他的全家。

¹⁸Pharaoh called Abram and said, “What is this that you have done to me? Why didn’t you tell me that she was your wife?

¹⁸于是，法老把亚伯兰召了来，对他说：“你向我作的是什么？你为什么不告诉我她是你的妻子呢？

¹⁹Why did you say, ‘She is my sister,’ so that I took her to be my wife? Now therefore, see your wife, take her, and go your way.”

¹⁹你为什么说她是你的妹妹，以致我娶了她作妻子呢？现在，你的妻子在这里，带她走吧！”

²⁰Pharaoh commanded men concerning him, and they brought him on the way with his wife and all that he had.

²⁰法老吩咐臣仆，他们就把亚伯兰和他的妻子，以及他所有的一切都送走了。
