¹A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit.

¹弥赛亚及他的国度

²The Spirit of Yahweh will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh.

²耶和华的灵必停留在他身上，就是智慧的灵和聪明的灵，谋略的灵和能力的灵，知识的灵和敬畏耶和华的灵。

³His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;

³他必以敬畏耶和华为乐。他不凭眼睛所见的施行审判，也不凭耳朵所听的断定是非；

⁴but with righteousness he will judge the poor, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.

⁴却要以公义审判贫穷人，以正直判断地上的困苦人；以口中的杖击打世界，以嘴里的气杀死恶人。

⁵Righteousness will be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his waist.

⁵公义必作他腰间的带子，信实必作他胁下的带子。

⁶The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat; The calf, the young lion, and the fattened calf together; and a little child will lead them.

⁶豺狼必与绵羊羔同住，豹子要与山羊羔同卧，牛犊、幼狮和肥畜必同群；小孩子要牵引它们。

⁷The cow and the bear will graze. Their young ones will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the ox.

⁷牛必与母熊一同吃食，牛犊必与小熊一起躺卧；狮子就像牛一般吃草。

⁸The nursing child will play near a cobra’s hole, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.

⁸吃奶的婴儿必在虺蛇的洞口玩耍，断奶的孩子必放他的手在毒蛇的穴上。

⁹They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea.

⁹在我整个圣山上面，这一切都不行伤害或毁灭之事；因为认识耶和华的知识要充满大地，好像海水覆盖海洋一般。

¹⁰It will happen in that day that the nations will seek the root of Jesse, who stands as a banner of the peoples; and his resting place will be glorious.

¹⁰预言被掳的人回归到那日，耶西的根必竖立起来，作万族的旗帜；列国的人必寻求他，他安息之所必大有荣耀。

¹¹It will happen in that day that the Lord will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

¹¹到那日，主必再用自己的手，赎回他子民中的余民，就是从亚述、埃及、巴忒罗、古实、以拦、示拿和哈马，以及众海岛所剩下的。

¹²He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

¹²他必向列国竖起旗帜，召聚以色列被掳去的人，又从地的四方聚集分散了的犹大人。

¹³The envy also of Ephraim will depart, and those who persecute Judah will be cut off. Ephraim won’t envy Judah, and Judah won’t persecute Ephraim.

¹³以法莲的嫉妒必消除，那敌视犹大的必被剪除；以法莲必不再嫉妒犹大，犹大也必不再敌视以法莲。

¹⁴They will fly down on the shoulders of the Philistines on the west. Together they will plunder the children of the east. They will extend their power over Edom and Moab, and the children of Ammon will obey them.

¹⁴他们要向西飞，扑在非利士人的山麓上，一起掳掠东方人；他们必把手伸到以东和摩押之上，亚扪人必顺服他们。

¹⁵Yahweh will utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his scorching wind he will wave his hand over the River, and will split it into seven streams, and cause men to march over in sandals.

¹⁵耶和华必使埃及的海湾干涸；他要用热风在大河之上挥手，他要击打它，使它分成七道支流，使人走过去也不会把鞋弄湿。

¹⁶There will be a highway for the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, like there was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

¹⁶为着　神的余民，就是那些在亚述剩下归回的，必有一条大路给他们归回，正如以色列人从埃及地上来的日子一样。
