1The righteous perishes, and no man lays it to heart; and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil.
1以色列拜偶像受谴责
2He enters into peace; they rest in their beds, each one who walks in his uprightness.
2行事为人正直的，死后必得进入平安，在他们的坟墓里享安息。
3“But draw near here, you sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the prostitute.
3但你们这些巫妇的儿子，奸夫和妓女的后裔啊！你们都走近这里行奸淫吧！
4Against whom do you sport yourselves? Against whom do you make a wide mouth, and stick out your tongue? Aren’t you children of disobedience, a seed of falsehood,
4你们戏弄谁呢？你们张大嘴巴，伸长舌头戏弄谁呢？你们不是悖逆的孩子吗？不是虚谎的后裔吗？
5you who inflame yourselves among the oaks, under every green tree; who kill the children in the valleys, under the clefts of the rocks?
5你们在橡树林中，在青翠树下欲火焚心；在山谷间，在岩穴里，宰杀自己的孩子作祭牲。
6Among the smooth stones of the valley is your portion; they, they are your lot; you have even poured a drink offering to them. You have offered an offering. Shall I be appeased for these things?
6在山谷中光滑的石头里有你的分；只有它们是你所要得的分！你也向它们浇了奠祭，献上了供物。这些事我岂能容忍不报复呢？
7On a high and lofty mountain you have set your bed; there also you went up to offer sacrifice.
7你在高高的山上安设你的床榻，又上到那里去献祭。
8Behind the doors and the posts you have set up your memorial: for you have uncovered to someone besides me, and have gone up; you have enlarged your bed, and made you a covenant with them: you loved their bed where you saw it.
8你在门后，在门框后，安设了外族神的记号；你远离了我，裸露了自己，就上床去，又扩张你的床，你也与他们立约；你爱他们的床，看他们的下体（“下体”原文作“手”）。
9You went to the king with oil, and increased your perfumes, and sent your ambassadors far off, and debased yourself even to Sheol Sheol is the place of the dead. .
9你带着油走到君王那里，并且加多了你的香料，差派使者到远方去，你甚至自己下到阴间去！
10You were wearied with the length of your way; yet you didn’t say, ‘It is in vain.’ You found a reviving of your strength; therefore you weren’t faint.
10你因路途遥远而困乏，却不说：“没有希望了！”因为你找着了生命的力量，所以你不觉得疲倦。
11“Of whom have you been afraid and in fear, that you lie, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? Haven’t I held my peace even of long time, and you don’t fear me?
11你怕谁？你因谁而惧怕，以致你对我说谎呢？你不记念我，也不把我放在心上，是不是因为我长久缄默，你就不惧怕我呢？
12I will declare your righteousness; and as for your works, they shall not profit you.
12我要说明你的公义和你所作的，但它们都必与你无益。
13When you cry, let those who you have gathered deliver you; but the wind shall take them, a breath shall carry them all away: but he who takes refuge in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain.”
13你呼求的时候，让你所收集的偶像拯救你吧！但一阵风要把它们全都刮走，一口气要把它们全部吹去。然而那投靠我的，必承受地土，得着我的圣山作产业。
14He will say, “Cast up, cast up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling-block out of the way of my people.”
14谦卑者与作恶者的分别必有人说：“你们要填高，要填高，要修平道路；把障碍物从我子民的路上除掉。”
15For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.
15因为那至高无上、永远存在、他名为圣的这样说：“虽然我住在至高至圣的地方，却与心灵痛悔和谦卑的人同在，要使谦卑人的灵苏醒，也使痛悔人的心苏醒。
16For I will not contend forever, neither will I be always angry; for the spirit would faint before me, and the souls who I have made.
16我必不永远争辩，也不长久发怒，因为这样，人的灵，就是我所造的人，在我面前就要发昏。
17For the iniquity of his covetousness was I angry, and struck him; I hid myself and was angry; and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.
17因他贪婪的罪孽，我发怒了；我击打他，向他掩面，并且发怒，他仍然随着自己的心意背道。
18I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.
18他的道路，我看见了，我却要医治他，引导他，把安慰赏赐他和他的哀悼者。
19I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near,” says Yahweh; “and I will heal them.”
19我创造嘴唇的果子：平安，平安，归给远处的人，也归给近处的人。”耶和华说：“我要医治他。”
20But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it can’t rest, and its waters cast up mire and dirt.
20恶人却像翻腾的海，不能平静，海中的水不住翻起污秽和淤泥来。
21“There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”
21我的 神说：“恶人必没有平安。”
