1Behold, Yahweh’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; neither his ear heavy, that it can’t hear:
1先知谴责人民的罪
2but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
2而是你们的罪孽使你们与你们的 神隔绝；你们的罪恶使他掩面不顾你们，不听你们的祷告。
3For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue mutters wickedness.
3因为你们的手沾满了血，你们的指头被罪孽玷污，你们的嘴唇说虚谎的话，你们的舌头讲出凶言。
4None sues in righteousness, and none pleads in truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
4没有人按公义求告，没有人凭诚实争辩；他们都倚靠虚无，说虚谎的话；所怀的是毒害，所生的是罪孽。
5They hatch adders’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he who eats of their eggs dies; and that which is crushed breaks out into a viper.
5他们所孵化的是毒蛇的蛋，他们所结的是蜘蛛的网，吃了它们的蛋，就一定死；蛋破了，就孵出蝮蛇来。
6Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.
6他们的网，不能作衣服，他们所作的，也不能遮盖自己；他们所作的是罪孽的作为，他们的手里满是强暴的行为。
7Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; desolation and destruction are in their paths.
7他们的脚奔跑行恶，他们急于流无辜人的血；他们的思想都是邪恶的思想，他们的行径全是破坏和毁灭。
8The way of peace they don’t know; and there is no justice in their goings: they have made them crooked paths; whoever goes therein does not know peace.
8平安的路，他们不认识，在他们的行径中没有公平；他们为自己使道路弯曲，行在其上的，都不认识平安。
9Therefore is justice far from us, neither does righteousness overtake us: we look for light, but, behold, darkness; for brightness, but we walk in obscurity.
9因此，公平远离我们，公义赶不上我们，我们指望亮光，不料，却是黑暗。我们指望光明，却行在幽暗中！
10We grope for the wall like the blind; yes, we grope as those who have no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the twilight; among those who are lusty we are as dead men.
10我们摸索墙壁，好像瞎子一样；我们摸索，如同没有眼睛的人一般；我们在中午跌倒，有如在黄昏跌倒一样；我们在肥壮的人中，好像死人一般。
11We roar all like bears, and moan bitterly like doves: we look for justice, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.
11我们都咆哮如熊，悲鸣像鸽子；我们等候公平，却没有公平；指望拯救，拯救却离我们很远。
12For our transgressions are multiplied before you, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we know them:
12因为我们的过犯在你面前增多，我们的罪作证控告我们，我们的过犯与我们在一起；我们知道我们的罪孽，
13transgressing and denying Yahweh, and turning away from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
13就是悖逆、否认耶和华，转去不跟从我们的 神，说欺压和背道的话，心里怀着谎言，随即说出来；
14Justice is turned away backward, and righteousness stands afar off; for truth is fallen in the street, and uprightness can’t enter.
14公平被迫后退，公义站在远处；诚实在街上跌倒，正直不能进入。
15Yes, truth is lacking; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Yahweh saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice.
15诚实缺乏，远离恶事的人反成为掠物。耶和华看见了，就看这为恶事，因为一点公平也没有。
16He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his own arm brought salvation to him; and his righteousness, it upheld him.
16耶和华必拯救自己的子民他见无人行善，无人代求，就非常诧异，所以他用自己的膀臂为他施行拯救，以自己的公义扶持他。
17He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on his head; and he put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a mantle.
17他穿上公义的铠甲，戴上救恩的头盔，穿上复仇的衣服，披上热心作外袍。
18According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, wrath to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompense.
18他要按照各人的行为施行报应，把烈怒降与他的敌人，把报应加给他的仇敌，向众海岛的人施行报应。
19So shall they fear the name of Yahweh from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which the breath of Yahweh drives.
19这样，人从日落之处必敬畏耶和华的名，从日出之地也必敬畏他的荣耀，仇敌像河水冲来的时候，耶和华的气必向他催逼。
20“A Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from disobedience in Jacob,” says Yahweh.
20“必有一位救赎主来到锡安，来到雅各家中那些转离过犯的人那里。”这是耶和华说的。
21“As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says Yahweh. “My Spirit who is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed’s seed,” says Yahweh, “from henceforth and forever.”
21耶和华说：“至于我，我与他们所立的约是这样：我加在你们身上的灵和我放在你口里的话，必不离开你的口，不离开你后裔的口，也不离开你后裔的后裔的口，从现在直到永远；这是耶和华说的。”
