¹The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

¹以色列的不忠与背信

²“Go, and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Thus says Yahweh, “I remember for you the kindness of your youth, the love of your weddings; how you went after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.

²“你去在耶路撒冷人的耳中呼叫，说：‘耶和华这样说：你年轻时的恩爱，新婚时的爱情，你怎样在旷野、在未曾耕种之地跟从我，我都记得。

³Israel was holiness to Yahweh, the first fruits of his increase. All who devour him shall be held guilty. Evil shall come on them,”’ says Yahweh.”

³那时，以色列归耶和华为圣，作他初熟的土产。吞吃她的，都算为有罪，灾祸必临到他们。’”这是耶和华的宣告。

⁴Hear the word of Yahweh, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel!

⁴雅各家啊！以色列家的各族啊！你们要听耶和华的话。

⁵Thus says Yahweh, “What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

⁵耶和华这样说：“你们列祖在我身上究竟发现了什么不义，使他们远离我，随从虚无的偶像，自己也成了虚妄呢？

⁶Neither did they say, ‘Where is Yahweh who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, who led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought and of the shadow of death, through a land that none passed through, and where no man lived?’

⁶他们也不问：‘那领我们从埃及地上来，引导我们走过旷野，走过荒漠有深坑之地、干旱死荫之地、无人经过、无人居住之地的耶和华在哪里呢？’

⁷I brought you into a plentiful land, to eat its fruit and its goodness; but when you entered, you defiled my land, and made my heritage an abomination.

⁷我领你们进入这肥美之地，得吃其中的果子和美物；可是你们一进来，就玷污了我的地；你们使我的产业成为可憎恶的。

⁸The priests didn’t say, ‘Where is Yahweh?’ and those who handle the law didn’t know me. The rulers also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.

⁸众祭司都不问：‘耶和华在哪里？’律法师不认识我，官长悖逆我，先知奉巴力的名说预言，跟从那无益的偶像。

⁹“Therefore I will yet contend with you,” says Yahweh, “and I will contend with your children’s children.

⁹因此，我要再跟你们争辩，也要跟你们的子孙争辩。”这是耶和华的宣告。

¹⁰For pass over to the islands of Kittim, and see; and send to Kedar, and consider diligently; and see if there has been such a thing.

¹⁰“你们尽管过到基提海岛察看，派人去基达仔细查考，看看曾有这样的事没有。

¹¹Has a nation changed its gods, which really are no gods? But my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.

¹¹有哪一国把自己的神换掉呢？其实那些并不是神。我的子民竟把他们的荣耀，换了无益的偶像。

¹²“Be astonished, you heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid. Be very desolate,” says Yahweh.

¹²诸天哪！你们要因此震惊，要大大战栗，极其凄凉。”这是耶和华的宣告。

¹³“For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the spring of living waters, and cut them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

¹³“因为我的子民作了两件恶事，就是离弃了我这活水的泉源，为自己凿了池子，是破裂不能存水的池子。

¹⁴Is Israel a servant? Is he a native-born slave? Why has he become a prey?

¹⁴不忠的结果“以色列岂是奴隶，或是在家中生的奴仆呢？为什么竟成了掠物呢？

¹⁵The young lions have roared at him, and yelled. They have made his land waste. His cities are burned up, without inhabitant.

¹⁵幼狮都向他咆哮，大声吼叫，使他的地荒凉，城中破毁，无人居住。

¹⁶The children also of Memphis and Tahpanhes have broken the crown of your head.

¹⁶挪弗人和答比匿人也剃光了你的头顶。

¹⁷“Haven’t you procured this to yourself, in that you have forsaken Yahweh your God The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “Elohim.” , when he led you by the way?

¹⁷你这不是自作自受吗？耶和华你的　神在路上引导你时，你却离弃了他。

¹⁸Now what have you to do in the way to Egypt, to drink the waters of the Shihor? Or what have you to do in the way to Assyria, to drink the waters of the River?

¹⁸现在，你为什么要到埃及去，喝西曷的水呢？你为什么要到亚述去，喝幼发拉底河的水呢？

¹⁹“Your own wickedness shall correct you, and your backsliding shall reprove you. Know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and a bitter, that you have forsaken Yahweh your God, and that my fear is not in you,” says the Lord, Yahweh of Armies.

¹⁹你自己的罪恶要惩罚你，你背道的事必责备你。你当知道，也要明白，离弃耶和华你的　神，没有畏惧我的心，是邪恶的，是痛苦的。”这是主万军之耶和华的宣告。

²⁰“For of old time I have broken your yoke, and burst your bonds; and you said, ‘I will not serve;’ for on every high hill and under every green tree you bowed yourself, playing the prostitute.

²⁰以色列的罪恶“你从古时就折断了自己的轭，解开了自己的绳索，说：‘我不事奉你了。’你在每个高冈上，在每棵繁茂树下，蹲伏行淫。

²¹Yet I had planted you a noble vine, wholly a right seed. How then have you turned into the degenerate branches of a foreign vine to me?

²¹我栽你时原是上等的葡萄树，是绝对纯种的；你怎么在我面前变为坏枝子，成了野葡萄呢？

²²For though you wash yourself with lye, and use much soap, yet your iniquity is marked before me,” says the Lord Yahweh.

²²你虽然用碱洗涤，多加肥皂，你罪孽的污渍仍留在我面前。”这是主耶和华的宣告。

²³“How can you say, ‘I am not defiled. I have not gone after the Baals’? See your way in the valley. Know what you have done. You are a swift dromedary traversing her ways;

²³“你怎么能说：‘我没有玷污自己，未曾跟从过巴力’呢？看看你在谷中的行径，想想你所作过的！简直像快捷的小雌驼，在路上乱闯；

²⁴a wild donkey used to the wilderness, that snuffs up the wind in her desire. When she is in heat, who can turn her away? All those who seek her will not weary themselves. In her month, they will find her.

²⁴又像惯在旷野的野驴，欲心一起就喘气，它春情发动，谁能抑制它呢？寻找它的都不必费力，在它的交配期间，必能找到它。

²⁵“Withhold your foot from being unshod, and your throat from thirst. But you said, ‘It is in vain. No, for I have loved strangers, and I will go after them.’

²⁵不要使你的脚赤露，你的喉咙干渴！你却说：‘没用的！因为我爱外族人的神，我要跟从他们！’

²⁶As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets;

²⁶以色列该受的惩罚“贼被捉拿时怎样羞愧，以色列家和他们的君王、领袖、祭司和先知，也都怎样羞愧。

²⁷who tell wood, ‘You are my father;’ and a stone, ‘You have brought me out:’ for they have turned their back to me, and not their face; but in the time of their trouble they will say, ‘Arise, and save us.’

²⁷他们对木头说：‘你是我爸爸’；对石头说：‘你是生我的’。他们以背向我，不以脸向我；然而遭遇患难时却说：‘起来，救救我们吧！’

²⁸“But where are your gods that you have made for yourselves? Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble: for according to the number of your cities are your gods, Judah.

²⁸你为自己所做的神在哪里？你遭遇患难时，如果他们能救你，就让他们起来吧！犹大啊！你的城有多少，你的神也有多少！

²⁹“Why will you contend with me? You all have transgressed against me,” says Yahweh.

²⁹你们为什么跟我争辩呢？你们都悖逆了我！”这是耶和华的宣告。

³⁰“I have struck your children in vain. They received no correction. Your own sword has devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.

³⁰“我责打你们的儿女也是没用，因为他们不受管教。你们的刀剑，像灭命的狮子吞噬你们的先知。

³¹Generation, consider the word of Yahweh. Have I been a wilderness to Israel? Or a land of thick darkness? Why do my people say, ‘We have broken loose. We will come to you no more?’

³¹这世代的人哪！你们要注意耶和华的话：‘对以色列人来说，难道我是旷野，或是黑暗的地方？我的子民为什么说：我们自由了，不再到你那里去了？

³²“Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet my people have forgotten me for days without number.

³²少女能忘记她的饰物吗？新妇能忘记她的华带吗？我的子民却忘记了我，这些日子无法数算。

³³How well you prepare your way to seek love! Therefore you have taught even the wicked women your ways.

³³你多么通晓门路，去寻求爱情！就连坏女人，你也可以把门路指教她们。

³⁴Also the blood of the souls of the innocent poor is found in your skirts. You did not find them breaking in; but it is because of all these things.

³⁴在你衣襟上又发现无辜穷人的血，并且你不是发现他们在挖窟窿时杀他们的。虽然这样，

³⁵“Yet you said, ‘I am innocent. Surely his anger has turned away from me.’ “Behold, I will judge you, because you say, ‘I have not sinned.’

³⁵你还说：我是无辜的，他的怒气必已离开我。看哪！我要审判你，因为你曾说：我没有犯罪！

³⁶Why do you go about so much to change your way? You will be ashamed of Egypt also, as you were ashamed of Assyria.

³⁶你为什么要东奔西跑，改变你的路向呢？你必因埃及蒙羞，像你从前因亚述受辱一样。

³⁷From there also you shall go forth, with your hands on your head; for Yahweh has rejected those in whom you trust, and you shall not prosper with them.

³⁷你必双手抱头从埃及出来，因为耶和华弃绝了你所倚靠的，你靠他们必不能成功。’”
