¹The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah (the same was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon),

¹责犹大人不听　神的警告

²which Jeremiah the prophet spoke to all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying:

²耶利米先知就把这话告诉犹大众民和耶路撒冷所有的居民，说：

³From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, even to this day, these twenty-three years, the word of Yahweh has come to me, and I have spoken to you, rising up early and speaking; but you have not listened.

³“从犹大王亚们的儿子约西亚第十三年直到今日，这二十三年来，常有耶和华的话临到我，我也不断对你们传讲，你们却不听从。

⁴Yahweh has sent to you all his servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them (but you have not listened, nor inclined your ear to hear)

⁴耶和华虽然不断差遣他的仆人众先知到你们那里去；但你们却没有听从，毫不留心。

⁵saying, Return now everyone from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that Yahweh has given to you and to your fathers, from of old and even forevermore;

⁵他们对你们说：‘你们各人要悔改，离开自己的恶道和邪恶的行为，就可以住在耶和华赐给你们和你们列祖的土地上，直到永永远远。’”

⁶and don’t go after other gods to serve them or worship them, and don’t provoke me to anger with the work of your hands; and I will do you no harm.

⁶“你们不要随从别的神，不要事奉敬拜他们，也不可容你们手所作的惹我发怒；这样，我就不会使祸患临到你们。

⁷Yet you have not listened to me, says Yahweh; that you may provoke me to anger with the work of your hands to your own hurt.

⁷但你们没有听从我，竟容你们手所作的惹我发怒，自招祸害。”这是耶和华的宣告。

⁸Therefore thus says Yahweh of Armies: Because you have not heard my words,

⁸预言被掳七十年因此，万军之耶和华这样说：“因为你们没有听从我的话，

⁹behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, says Yahweh, and I will send to Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against its inhabitants, and against all these nations around; and I will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and a hissing, and perpetual desolations.

⁹看哪！我要打发人去征召北方的众族，和我的仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，领他们来攻击这地和这地的居民，以及周围的列国；我要把他们彻底消灭，使他们成为令人惊骇，受人嗤笑的对象，和永远荒废的地方。”这是耶和华的宣告。

¹⁰Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the lamp.

¹⁰“我要从他们中间除掉欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，推磨的声音和灯的亮光。

¹¹This whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

¹¹这地要全变为荒废，令人惊骇；这些国家要服事巴比伦王七十年。

¹²It shall happen, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, says Yahweh, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans; and I will make it desolate forever.

¹²事后惩罚巴比伦“七十年满了以后，我要按着他们的罪孽惩罚巴比伦王和那国，就是迦勒底人之地，使它永远荒凉。”这是耶和华的宣告。

¹³I will bring on that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah has prophesied against all the nations.

¹³“我必使我所说攻击那地的一切话应验在那地；我所说的，就是一切记录在这书上的，是耶利米攻击列国所说的预言。

¹⁴For many nations and great kings shall make bondservants of them, even of them; and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the work of their hands.

¹⁴因为许多国家和大君王将要奴役迦勒底人，我必按着他们的作为和他们手所作的报应他们。”

¹⁵For thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, to me: take this cup of the wine of wrath at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send you, to drink it.

¹⁵　神审判列国耶和华以色列的　神对我这样说：“你从我的手中拿这杯烈怒的酒，给列国喝，就是我差遣你去的列国。

¹⁶They shall drink, and reel back and forth, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.

¹⁶他们喝了，就会东倒西歪，疯狂乱性，因为我打发刀剑到他们中间去。”

¹⁷Then took I the cup at Yahweh’s hand, and made all the nations to drink, to whom Yahweh had sent me:

¹⁷于是我从耶和华的手中接过这杯，给列国喝，就是耶和华差遣我去的列国，

¹⁸Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and its kings, and its princes, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse, as it is this day;

¹⁸包括耶路撒冷、犹大的城镇，和她的君王、领袖，使这些城镇荒废，成为令人惊骇、被人嗤笑、咒骂的对象，好像今天一样。

¹⁹Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people;

¹⁹又包括法老，就是埃及王，和他的臣仆、王侯，以及全体人民，

²⁰and all the mixed people, and all the kings of the land of the Uz, and all the kings of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Gaza, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod;

²⁰并所有外族的人；还有乌斯地的众王、非利士人之地的众王，就是亚实基伦、迦萨，以革伦和亚实突余剩的人的王；

²¹Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon;

²¹并有以东、摩押、亚扪、

²²and all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the isle which is beyond the sea;

²²推罗的列王、西顿的列王、海外岛屿的列王、

²³Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all who have the corners of their beard cut off;

²³底但、提玛、布斯，所有剃除鬓发的部落、

²⁴and all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mixed people who dwell in the wilderness;

²⁴阿拉伯的列王、住在沙漠的外族人的列王、

²⁵and all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes;

²⁵心利的列王、以拦的列王、玛代的列王、

²⁶and all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the world, which are on the surface of the earth: and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.

²⁶北方远近的列王，一个一个，以及地上的万国，就是在这地面上的列国，都喝了；他们喝了以后，示沙克王也要喝。

²⁷You shall tell them, Thus says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel: Drink, and be drunk, vomit, fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.

²⁷“你要对他们说：‘万军之耶和华以色列的　神这样说：你们要喝，并要喝醉，呕吐，以致跌倒，不能再起来，因为我打发刀剑到你们中间去。’

²⁸It shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at your hand to drink, then you shall tell them, Thus says Yahweh of Armies: You shall surely drink.

²⁸如果他们不肯从你的手中接过这杯来喝，你就要对他们说：‘万军之耶和华这样说：你们一定要喝。

²⁹For, behold, I begin to work evil at the city which is called by my name; and should you be utterly unpunished? You shall not be unpunished; for I will call for a sword on all the inhabitants of the earth, says Yahweh of Armies.

²⁹因为，看哪！我既然在那称为我名下的城中先降灾祸，你们真可免受惩罚吗？你们必不能免受惩罚，因为我要呼唤刀剑来攻击这地所有的居民。’”这是万军之耶和华的宣告。

³⁰Therefore prophesy you against them all these words, and tell them, Yahweh will roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he will mightily roar against his fold; he will give a shout, as those who tread grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.

³⁰“因此你要对他们宣讲这一切话，对他们说：‘耶和华必从高天吼叫，从他的圣所发声；他必大声吼叫攻击自己的羊圈；他要对地上所有的居民呼喊，像那些踹葡萄的人呼喊一样。

³¹A noise shall come even to the end of the earth; for Yahweh has a controversy with the nations; he will enter into judgment with all flesh: as for the wicked, he will give them to the sword, says Yahweh.

³¹吶喊的声音要传到地极，因为耶和华要控告列国，也要审判万人；至于恶人，他必把他们交给刀剑。’”这是耶和华的宣告。

³²Thus says Yahweh of Armies, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great storm shall be raised up from the uttermost parts of the earth.

³²万军之耶和华这样说：“看哪！必有灾祸发出，从这国直到那国；必有大风暴从地极刮起。”

³³The slain of Yahweh shall be at that day from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung on the surface of the ground.

³³到那日，从地的这边到地的那边，都必有被耶和华刺死的人；必没有人为他们悲哀，没有人收殓他们、埋葬他们；他们都必在地面上成为粪肥。

³⁴Wail, you shepherds, and cry; and wallow in dust, you principal of the flock; for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are fully come, and you shall fall like a goodly vessel.

³⁴牧人啊，你们要哀号，呼叫！羊群的领袖啊，你们要在灰尘中打滚！因为你们被宰杀的日子已经到了；我要粉碎你们，你们要跌倒，像珍贵的器皿跌碎一样。

³⁵The shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape.

³⁵牧人无处逃避，羊群的领袖无法逃脱。

³⁶A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and the wailing of the principal of the flock! for Yahweh lays waste their pasture.

³⁶听啊！牧人的哀叫，羊群的领袖的悲号，因为耶和华正在毁坏他们的牧场。

³⁷The peaceable folds are brought to silence because of the fierce anger of Yahweh.

³⁷因为耶和华猛烈的怒气，平静的羊圈毁坏了。

³⁸He has left his covert, as the lion; for their land has become an astonishment because of the fierceness of the oppression, and because of his fierce anger.

³⁸他像狮子离开了洞穴，使他们的国土变成荒野，因为残酷的刀剑（“刀剑”有古抄本作“猛烈”），和他猛烈的怒气临到他们。
