1Give thanks to Yahweh, “Yahweh” is God’s proper Name, sometimes rendered “LORD” (all caps) in other translations. for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.
1称颂 神拯救他的子民你们要称谢耶和华，因他本是良善的；他的慈爱永远长存。
2Let the redeemed by Yahweh say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,
2愿耶和华救赎的子民这样称谢他；这民就是他从敌人的手里救赎出来，
3And gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.
3把他们从各地，就是从东从西、从南（“南”原文作“海”）从北，招聚回来的。
4They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way. They found no city to live in.
4他们有些人在旷野、在荒漠飘流，寻不见路往可居住的城巿。
5Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
5他们又饥又渴，心灵疲弱。
6Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses,
6他们在急难中呼求耶和华，耶和华就救他们脱离困苦；
7he led them also by a straight way, that they might go to a city to live in.
7领他们走正直的路，使他们去到可居住的城巿。
8Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works to the children of men!
8愿人因耶和华的慈爱，和他向世人所行的奇事称谢他。
9For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good.
9因为他使干渴的人得到满足，又使饥饿的人饱享美物。
10Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron,
10他们有些人坐在黑暗和死荫里，被困苦和铁链捆锁着；
11because they rebelled against the words of God The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “Elohim.” , and condemned the counsel of the Most High.
11因为他们违背了 神的话，藐视了至高者的旨意。
12Therefore he brought down their heart with labor. They fell down, and there was none to help.
12所以 神用苦难治服他们的心；他们跌倒，也没有人帮助。
13Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
13他们在急难中呼求耶和华，耶和华就拯救他们脱离困苦。
14He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bonds in sunder.
14他从黑暗里和死荫中把他们领出来，弄断他们的锁链。
15Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works to the children of men!
15愿人因耶和华的慈爱，和他向世人所行的奇事称谢他。
16For he has broken the gates of brass, and cut through bars of iron.
16因为他打破了铜门，砍断了铁闩。
17Fools are afflicted because of their disobedience, and because of their iniquities.
17他们有些人因自己的过犯成了愚妄人，有人受苦是因为自己的罪孽。
18Their soul abhors all kinds of food. They draw near to the gates of death.
18他们厌恶各样食物，就临近死门。
19Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, he saves them out of their distresses.
19于是他们在急难中呼求耶和华，他就拯救他们脱离困苦。
20He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves.
20他发出说话医治他们，搭救他们脱离死亡。
21Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works to the children of men!
21愿人因耶和华的慈爱，因他向世人所行的奇事称谢他。
22Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with singing.
22愿他们以感谢为祭献给他，欢欣地述说他的作为。
23Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in great waters;
23他们有些人坐船出海，在大海上往来经商。
24These see Yahweh’s works, and his wonders in the deep.
24他们见过耶和华的作为，和他在深海中所行的奇事。
25For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.
25他一吩咐，狂风就刮起，海中的波浪也高扬。
26They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble.
26他们上到天上，下到深渊，他们的心因危难而惊慌。
27They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.
27他们摇摇晃晃，东倒西歪，好像醉酒的人；他们的一切智慧都没有用了。
28Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress.
28于是他们在急难中呼求耶和华，他就拯救他们脱离困苦。
29He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.
29他使狂风止息，海浪就平静无声。
30Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven.
30风平浪静了，他们就欢喜；他引领他们到他们所愿去的港口。
31Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works for the children of men!
31愿人因耶和华的慈爱，和他向世人所行的奇事称谢他。
32Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.
32愿他们在众民的会中尊崇他，在长老的集会中赞美他。
33He turns rivers into a desert, water springs into a thirsty ground,
33他使江河变为旷野，使水泉变为干旱无水之地。
34and a fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of those who dwell in it.
34他使肥沃的土地变为咸田，都因住在那里的居民的邪恶。
35He turns a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into water springs.
35他使旷野变为池塘，使旱地变为水泉。
36There he makes the hungry live, that they may prepare a city to live in,
36他使饥饿的人住在那里，好让他们建造可以居住的城巿。
37sow fields, plant vineyards, and reap the fruits of increase.
37他们耕种田地，栽种葡萄园，得到丰盛的收成。
38He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly. He doesn’t allow their livestock to decrease.
38他又赐福给他们，使他们人口众多，也没有使他们的牲畜减少。
39Again, they are diminished and bowed down through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.
39以后他们因为压迫、患难、愁苦，就人数减少，降为卑微。
40He pours contempt on princes, and causes them to wander in a trackless waste.
40他使权贵受羞辱，使他们在荒废无路的地方飘流。
41Yet he lifts the needy out of their affliction, and increases their families like a flock.
41他却把贫穷的人安置在高处，免受苦难，使他的家族繁衍，好像羊群。
42The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths.
42正直的人看见了，就欢喜；但所有邪恶的人都必闭口无言。
43Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the loving kindnesses of Yahweh.
43凡有智慧的，愿他留意这些事；愿他思想耶和华的慈爱。
