¹Putting away therefore all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisies, envies, and all evil speaking,

⁴ओह क लगे आवा। उ सजीव “पाथर” अहइ। वहिका संसारी लोगन क नकार दिहे रहा मुला उ परमेस्सर खातिर बहुमूल्य अहइ अउर जउन ओकरे दुआरा चुना गवा अहइ।

¹³Therefore subject yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether to the king, as supreme;

¹⁴or to governors, as sent by him for vengeance on evildoers and for praise to those who do well.

¹⁴राजा क अधीन रहा। उ सर्वोच्च अधिकारी अहइ। सासकन क अधीन रहा। उ ओनका कुकर्मीमयन क दण्ड देइ खातिर अउर नीक काम क प्रसंसा करइ क खातिर भेजे अहइ।

¹⁵For this is the will of God, that by well-doing you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

¹⁵काहेकि परमेस्सर क इहइ इच्छा अहइ कि उ अपने नीक कर्मन क मूरखन क अगियान भरी बातन क चुप कराइ देइ।

¹⁶as free, and not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God.

¹⁶स्वतंत्र मनइयन क तरह जिआ मुला स्वतंत्रता क बुरे कर्मन क आड़ न बनइ द्या। परमेस्सर क सेवक बनके जिआ।

¹⁷Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

¹⁷सबन क सम्मान करा। अपने धरम भाइयन तथा बहिनियन स पिरेम करा। परमेस्सर प श्रद्धा रखा। सासक क सम्मान करा।

¹⁸Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked.

¹⁸सेवको, यथोचित आदर क साथ अपने स्वामियन क अधीन रहा। न केवल ओनके जउन नीक बाटेन अउर दूसरे क खातिर चिन्ता करत अहइँ। बल्कि ओनके बरे जउन कठोर अहइँ।

¹⁹For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unjustly, because of conscience toward God.

¹⁹काहेकि जदि कउनो परमेस्सर क उपस्थिति क प्रति सचेत रहत भए यातना सहत ह अउर अन्याय झेलत ह तउ उ प्रसंसनीय अहइ।

²⁰For what glory is it if, when you sin, you patiently endure beating? But if, when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with God.

²⁰मुला अगर बुरे करम क खातिर तोहका पीटा जात ह अउर तू ओका सहत ह तउ एहमाँ प्रसंसा क कउन बात अहइ, मुला अहगर तोहरे कर्मन खातिर तोहका कस्ट दीन्ह जात ह तउ परमेस्सर क सामने उ प्रसंसा क जोग्य अहइ।
