1When it happened that we had parted from them and had set sail, we came with a straight course to Cos, and the next day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara.
1फिन ओनसे बिदाइ लइके समुद्दर मँ हम पचे आपन नइया खेइ दीन्ह अउर सोझ राहे म कास पहोंच गएऩ अउर भियान रोदुस। फिन हुवाँ स हम पतरा चला गएन।
2Having found a ship crossing over to Phoenicia, we went aboard, and set sail.
2हुवाँ हम एक ठु जहाज लीन्ह जउन फिनीके जात रहा।
3When we had come in sight of Cyprus, leaving it on the left hand, we sailed to Syria, and landed at Tyre, for there the ship was to unload her cargo.
3जब साइप्रस लखइ क आइ गवा तउ हम पचे ओका बाई कइँती छोड़िके सीरिया कइँती मुड़ि गएऩ काहेकि जहाज क सूर मँ माल उतारइ क रहा तउ हम पचे भी हुवँई उतरि गएऩ।
4Having found disciples, we stayed there seven days. These said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.
4हुवाँ हम पचन क अनुयायी मिलेन जेनके संग हम सात दिनाँ ताई ठहरेन। उ पचे आतिमा क असर स पौलुस क यरुसलेम जाइ स रोक दिहेन।
5When it happened that we had accomplished the days, we departed and went on our journey. They all, with wives and children, brought us on our way until we were out of the city. Kneeling down on the beach, we prayed.
5फिन हुवाँ ठहरइ क आपन समइ बिताइके हम पचे बिदा भएन आपन जात्रा पर निकरि गएन। आपन स्त्रियन अउर बचवन क संग उ पचे सहर क बाहेर तलक हमरे संग आएऩ। फिन हुवाँ समुद्दर क किनारे हम पचे घुटना क बल निहुरिके पराथना कीन्ह।
6After saying goodbye to each other, we went on board the ship, and they returned home again.
6अउर एक दूसर स बिदा होइके हम पचे जहाजे प चढ़ि गएऩ। अउर उ पचे आपन-आपन घरन क लौटि आएऩ।
7When we had finished the voyage from Tyre, we arrived at Ptolemais. We greeted the brothers, and stayed with them one day.
7सूर स पानी क रस्ता क जरिए जात्रा करत भए हम पतुलिमयिस मँ उतरेन। हुवाँ भाई लोगन क सुआगत सत्कार करत भए हम पचे ओऩकइ संग एक दिन ठहरेन।
8On the next day, we, who were Paul’s companions, departed, and came to Caesarea. We entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, and stayed with him.
8दूसर दिन ओनका छोरिके हम कैसरिया आइ गएन। अउर सुसमाचार क प्रचारक फिलिप्पुस, जउन चुना भवा सात सेवकन मँ एक रहा, घर जाइके ओनके संग ठहरेन।
9Now this man had four virgin daughters who prophesied.
9ओकरे चार ठु कुँवारी बिटिया रहिन जउन भविस्सबाणी करत रहिन।
10As we stayed there some days, a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.
10हुवाँ हमरे कछू दिनन ठहरे रहइ क पाछे यहूदिया स अगुबस नाउँ क एक नबी आवा।
11Coming to us, and taking Paul’s belt, he bound his own feet and hands, and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit: ‘So will the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and will deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’”
11हमरे निअरे आवत भवा उ पौलुस क करिहाउँ बाँधिके उठाइके ओसे अपऩइ ही गोड़ अउर हाथ बँधवाइ लिहेस अउर बोला, “इ अहइ जउन पवित्तर आतिमा कहत बा, ‘यानी यरुसलेम मँ यहूदियन, जेकर इ कमर बँध अहइ, ओका अइसे ही बॉधिके गैर यहूदियन क हाथे सौंपि देइही।”‘
12When we heard these things, both we and they of that place begged him not to go up to Jerusalem.
12हम पचे जब इ सुनेन तउ हम हुवाँ क मनइयन ओसे यरुसलेम न आवइ क पराथना किहेन।
13Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”
13यह पइ पौलुस जवाब दिहेस, “इ तरह रोइ रोइके मोर हिरदय तोड़त भए इ तू पचे का करत बाट्या? मइँ तउ यरुसलेम मँ न सिरिफ बाँधा जाइ बरे बल्कि पर्भू मसीह क नाउँ प मरइ तलक सन्नध अही!”
14When he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, “The Lord’s will be done.”
14काहेकि हम ओका मना नाहीं कइ पाएन। तउ बस ऍतना कहिके चुप्पी साधि गएऩ “जइसी पर्भू क इच्छा।”
15After these days we took up our baggage and went up to Jerusalem.
15इ दिनन क पाछे फिन हम तइयारी कइके यरुसलेम चला गएन।
16Some of the disciples from Caesarea also went with us, bringing one Mnason of Cyprus, an early disciple, with whom we would stay.
16कैसरिया स कछू चेलन भी हमरे संग होइ गएऩ। उ पचे हमका साइप्रस क मनासोन नाउँ क एक मनई क हियाँ लइ गएऩ जउऩ ईसू का पहिला चेला रहा। हमका उहइ क संग ठहरइ क रहा।
17When we had come to Jerusalem, the brothers received us gladly.
17यरुसलेम पहुँचे प भाई लोगन बड़ा उछाइ स हमार सुआगत सत्कार किहेन।
18The day following, Paul went in with us to James; and all the elders were present.
18दूसर दिन पौलुस हमरे संग याकूब स भेंटइ गवा। हुवाँ सबहिं कलीसिया क अगुआ हाजिर रहेन।
19When he had greeted them, he reported one by one the things which God had worked among the Gentiles through his ministry.
19पौलुस ओनकइ सुआगत सत्कार किहेस अउर ओन सब कामे क बारे मँ जउन परमेस्सर ओकरे हीला स गैर यहूदियन क बीच करवाए रहा, एक एक कइके कहि सुनाएस।
20They, when they heard it, glorified God. They said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law.
20तउ उ पचे परमेस्सर क स्तुति करत भए बोलेन, “बंधु तू पचे तउ लखत ही अहा हियाँ केतॅना ही हजार यहूदी अइसा अहइँ जउन बिसवास ग्रहण लिहे बाटेन। मुला उ पचे सोचत ही मूसा का व्यवस्था क मानब बहुत जरूरी अहइ।
21They have been informed about you, that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children neither to walk after the customs.
21तोहरे बारे मँ ओनसे कहा गवा बाटइ कि तू पचे गैर यहूदियन क बीच रहइवाला सबहिं यहूदी लोगन क मूसा क सिच्छा क तजइ क सीख देत बाट्या। अउर ओनसे कहत ह कि उ पचे न तउ आपन गदेलन क खतना करावइँ अउर न ही यहूदी रीति रिवाजे प चलइँ।
22What then? The assembly must certainly meet, for they will hear that you have come.
22तउ का कीन्ह जाइ? उ पचे इ तउ जरुरी ही सुनिहीं कि तू आवा अहा।
23Therefore do what we tell you. We have four men who have taken a vow.
23यह बरे तू उहइ करा जउन तोहसे हम कहत अही। हमरे संग चार ठु अइसे मनई बाटेन जउन कउनो मन्नत मानेन ह।
24Take them, and purify yourself with them, and pay their expenses for them, that they may shave their heads. Then all will know that there is no truth in the things that they have been informed about you, but that you yourself also walk keeping the law.
24इ मनइयन क लइ जा अउर ओनकइ संग सुद्ध होइ क जलसा मँ सामिल होइ जा। ओऩकइ खर्जा दइ द्या उ पचे आपन मूॅड़ मुड़वाइ लइ लेइँ। ऍहसे सब लोग जान लेइहीं कि उ पचे तोहरे बारे मँ जउऩ सुने अहइँ, ओहमाँ स कउनो सच नाहीं बाटइ मुला तू तउ खुद ही हमरे व्यवस्था क मुताबिक जिन्नगी देत ह।
25But concerning the Gentiles who believe, we have written our decision that they should observe no such thing, except that they should keep themselves from food offered to idols, from blood, from strangled things, and from sexual immorality.”
25हियाँ तलक बिसवास ग्रहण करइवाले गैर यहूदियन क सवाल बा, हम पचे ओनका एक ठु चिट्ठि मँ लिखिके पठएऩ ह: ‘उ पचे मूरतियन प चढ़ावा प्रसाद, रकत क भोजन, गटई घोंटि के मारे भएन गोरूअन अउर व्यभिचार स आपने को खुद क दूर राखइँ।”‘
26Then Paul took the men, and the next day, purified himself and went with them into the temple, declaring the fulfillment of the days of purification, until the offering was offered for every one of them.
26इ तरह पौलुस ओन मनइयन क आपन संगे लिहस अउर ओन मनइयन क संग आपन खुद क अगले दिन सुद्ध कइ दिहस। फिन उ मंदिर मँ गवा जहाँ उ गोहराइके कहेस कि सुद्ध होइके दिन कब पूर होइहीं अउर हम पचन मँ स हर एक बरे चढ़ावा कब चढ़ाइ जाइ।
27When the seven days were almost completed, the Jews from Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the multitude and laid hands on him,
27जब उ सात दिना पूर होइवाला रहा, एसिया स आए कछू यहूदी लोग ओका मंदिर मँ लखेन। उ पचे भीड़ मँ सबहिं मनइयन क हुस्काइ दिहेन अउर पौलुस क धइ लिहन।
28crying out, “Men of Israel, help! This is the man who teaches all men everywhere against the people, and the law, and this place. Moreover, he also brought Greeks into the temple, and has defiled this holy place!”
28फिन उ पचे नरियाइके बोलेन, “इस्राएल क मनइयो मदद करा। इ उहइ मनई अहइ जउन हर कहूँ हमार जनता क, मूसा क व्यवस्था क खिलाफ मनइयन क सिखावत बहकावत बा। अउर अब तउ इ गैर यहूदियन क मंदिर मँ लइ आवा अहइ। अउर इ इ तरह इ पवित्तर स्थान क भरभण्ड कइ दिहे अहइ।”
29For they had seen Trophimus, the Ephesian, with him in the city, and they supposed that Paul had brought him into the temple.
29(उ पचे अइसा यह बरे कहे रहेन कि त्रुफिमुस नाउँ क एक इफिसी क सहर मँ उ पचे ओकर संग लखिके अइसा सोचेन कि पौलुस ओका मँदिर मँ लइ गवा अहइ।)
30All the city was moved, and the people ran together. They seized Paul and dragged him out of the temple. Immediately the doors were shut.
30तउ सारा सहर खिलाफ उठि खड़ा भवा। मनई भागि भागिके चढ़ बइठेन अउर पौलुस क धइ लिहेन। फिन उ पचे ओका घिसीटते भए मंदिर स बाहेर लइ गएऩ अउर फउरन फाटक बन्द कइ दिहेन।
31As they were trying to kill him, news came up to the commanding officer of the regiment that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.
31उ पचे ओका मारइ क जतन करत ही रहेन कि रोमी फऊज क टुकड़ी क नायक क लगे इ सूचना पहोंची कि समूचइ यरुसलेम मँ खलबली मची बा।
32Immediately he took soldiers and centurions, and ran down to them. They, when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, stopped beating Paul.
32उ सेनानायक कछू सिपाहियन अउर फउज क अधिकारी क आपन संग लिहेस अउर पौलुस प हमला करइवाले यहूदियन कइँती बढ़ा। यहूदियन जब सेना नायक अउर सिपाही लोगन क लखेन तउ उ पचे पौलुस क पीटब बंद किहेन।
33Then the commanding officer came near, arrested him, commanded him to be bound with two chains, and inquired who he was and what he had done.
33तब उ सेना नायक पौलस क लगे गवा अउर ओका बंदी बनाइ लिहेस। उ ओका दुइ जंजीरे मँ बाँध लेइ क आदेस दिहेस। फिन उ पूछेस, “उ कउन अहइ अउर उ का किहेस ह?”
34Some shouted one thing, and some another, among the crowd. When he couldn’t find out the truth because of the noise, he commanded him to be brought into the barracks.
34भिड़िया मँ स कछू मनइयन एक बात कहेन तउ दूसर लोग दूसर बात। इ हो-हल्लड़ मँ काहेकि उ इ नाहीं जान पाएस कु सच्चाई का अहइ, यह बरे उ हुकुम दिहेस कि ओका छावनी मँ लइ चला जाइ।
35When he came to the stairs, it happened that he was carried by the soldiers because of the violence of the crowd;

36for the multitude of the people followed after, crying out, “Away with him!”

37As Paul was about to be brought into the barracks, he asked the commanding officer, “May I speak to you?” He said, “Do you know Greek?
37जब उ छावनी क भीतर लइ जावा जाइवाला रहा कि पौलुस सेनानायक स कहेस, “का मइँ तोहसे कछू कहि सकत हउँ?” सेनानायक बोला, “का तू यूनानी बोलत अहा?
38Aren’t you then the Egyptian, who before these days stirred up to sedition and led out into the wilderness the four thousand men of the Assassins?”
38तउ तू उ मिस्र क मनई तउ नाहीं अहा न जउन पहिले दंगा सुरु कराए रहा अउर जउन हियाँ रेगिस्तान मँ चार हजार आंतकवादी लोगन क अगुअई करत रहा?”
39But Paul said, “I am a Jew, from Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no insignificant city. I beg you, allow me to speak to the people.”
39पौलुस कहेस, “मइँ किलिकिया क तरसुस सहर क एक यहूदी मनई हउँ। अउर एक मसहूर सहर क नागरिक हउँ। मइँ तोहसे चाहत हउँ कि तू मोका इ मनइयन क बीच बोलाइ द्या।”
40When he had given him permission, Paul, standing on the stairs, beckoned with his hand to the people. When there was a great silence, he spoke to them in the Hebrew language, saying,
40ओसे आग्या पाइके पौलुस सीढ़ी प खड़ा होइके मनइयन कइँती हाथ हिलावत भवा ओनका सांत होइ क कहेस। जब सब सांत होइ गवा तउ पौलुस इब्रानी भाखा मँ मनइयन स कहइ लाग।
