¹After the uproar had ceased, Paul sent for the disciples, took leave of them, and departed to go into Macedonia.

¹फिन जब हुल्लड क सांत होइ गवा, एकरे पाछे पौलुस ईसू क चेलन क बोलाएस अउर ओनकइ हिम्मत बढ़ाइ दिहे क पाछे ओनसे बिदा लिहेस अउर मैसीडोनिया क चला गवा।

²When he had gone through those parts, and had encouraged them with many words, he came into Greece.

²उ पहँटा स होइके उ जात्रा किहेस अउर हुवाँ क मनइयन क उछाह क बचन बोलेस। फिन उ यूनान आइ गवा।

³When he had spent three months there, and a plot was made against him by Jews as he was about to set sail for Syria, he determined to return through Macedonia.

³उ हुवाँ तीन महीना रूका अउर काहेकि यहूदी लोग ओकरे खिलाफ एक षडयन्त्र रचे रहेन जब उ पानी क मारग स सीरिया क जाइवाला रहा कि उ निस्चय किहेस कि उ मैसीहोनिया क लौटि जाइ।

⁴These accompanied him as far as Asia: Sopater of Beroea; Aristarchus and Secundus of the Thessalonians; Gaius of Derbe; Timothy; and Tychicus and Trophimus of Asia.

⁴बिरीया क पुर्रूस क बेटवा, थिस्सलूनीकिया क बसइया लोग अरिस्तर्खुस अउर सिकुन्दुस, दिरबे क निवासि गयूस अउर तिमुथियुस अउर एसिया क पहँटा क तुखिकुस अउर त्रुफिमुस ओकर साथ रहेन।

⁵But these had gone ahead, and were waiting for us at Troas.

⁵इ पचे पहिले चला गवा रहेन अउर त्रोआस मँ हमका जोहत रहेन।

⁶We sailed away from Philippi after the days of Unleavened Bread, and came to them at Troas in five days, where we stayed seven days.

⁶बे खमीर क रोटी क दिनन क पाछे हम पचे फिलिप्पी स ऩाउ स चेलन अउर पाँच दिना क पाछे त्रोआस मँ ओनसे जाइ भेंटन। हुवाँ हम सात दिना तक ठहरेन।

⁷On the first day of the week, when the disciples were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and continued his speech until midnight.

⁷हपता क पहिले दिना जब हम पचे रोटी क तोड़इ बरे आपुस मँ बटुरेन तउ पौलुस ओनसइ बतियाइ लाग। ओका भियान ही चला जाइ क रहा तउ उ आधी राति तलक बातचीत करत रहा।

⁸There were many lights in the upper room where we TR reads “they” instead of “we” were gathered together.

⁸सीढ़ी क ऊपर क खोली मँ जहाँ हम पचे बटुरा रहेन, हुवाँ ढेर क दिया धरा रहेन।

⁹A certain young man named Eutychus sat in the window, weighed down with deep sleep. As Paul spoke still longer, being weighed down by his sleep, he fell down from the third story, and was taken up dead.

⁹हुवँइ यूतुखुस नाउँ क एक नौजवान खिड़की प बइठा रहा। ओका गहिर नींद चाँपे रही। काहेकि पौलुस ढेर बेला स बोलतइ चला जात रहा तउ ओका गहिर नींद आइ गइ। ऍहसे उ तीसरी मंजिल स तरखाले भहराइ पड़ा अउर जब ओका उठावा गवा तउ उ गुजर चुका रहा।

¹⁰Paul went down, and fell upon him, and embracing him said, “Don’t be troubled, for his life is in him.”

¹⁰पौलूस तरखाले उतरा अउर ओह पइ निहुरा। ओका आपन कोरा मँ लइके उ कहेस, “जिन घबराअ काहेकि ओकर प्राण उहइ मँ बा।”

¹¹When he had gone up, and had broken bread, and eaten, and had talked with them a long while, even until break of day, he departed.

¹¹फिन उ ऊपर चला गवा अउर उ रोटी क तोरिके बाँटेस अउर खाएस। उ ओनकइ ढेर देर तलक, भिन्सारे ताई बतियात रहा। फिन उ ओनसे बिदा लिहेस।

¹²They brought the boy in alive, and were greatly comforted.

¹²उ जिअत मनई क उ पचे घरे लइ आएन। ऍहसे ओऩका बहोत चइन मिला।

¹³But we who went ahead to the ship set sail for Assos, intending to take Paul aboard there, for he had so arranged, intending himself to go by land.

¹³हम जहाजे प पहिले पहोंचेन अउर अस्सुस कइँती चल दिहेन। हुवाँ पौलुस क हम पचेन क जहाज बइठावइ क रहा। उ अइसी ही योजना बनए रहा। उ खुन पैदर आवइ चाहत रहा।

¹⁴When he met us at Assos, we took him aboard, and came to Mitylene.

¹⁴उ जब अस्सुस मँ हम पचन स भेंटा तउ हम पचा ओका जहाजे प बइठावा अउर हम सबइ मितुलेने कइँती चल पड़ेन।

¹⁵Sailing from there, we came the following day opposite Chios. The next day we touched at Samos and stayed at Trogyllium, and the day after we came to Miletus.

¹⁵दूसर दिन हम हुवाँ स चलिके खियूस क समन्वा जाइ पहोंचेन। अउर दूसर दिन ओह पार सामोस आइ गएऩ। फिन ओकरे एक दिन पाछे हम मिलेतुस आइ पहोंचेन।

¹⁶For Paul had determined to sail past Ephesus, that he might not have to spend time in Asia; for he was hastening, if it were possible for him, to be in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost.

¹⁶काहेकि पौलुस जहाँ तलक होइ सका पिन्तेकुस्त क दिन तलक यरूसलेम पहुँच जाइ क हाली करत रहा, तउ उ ठान लिहेस कि उ इफिसुस मँ बे रुके भए अगवा चला जाइ जेहॅसे ओका एसिया मँ समइ जिआदा न बितावइ पड़इ।

¹⁷From Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called to himself the elders of the assembly.

¹⁷उ मिलेतुस स इफिसुस क बुजुर्ग अउर कलीसिया क संदेसा पठइके आपन लगे बोलाएस।

¹⁸When they had come to him, he said to them, “You yourselves know, from the first day that I set foot in Asia, how I was with you all the time,

¹⁸ओनकइ आए प पौलुस ओनसे कहेस, “इ तू सबइ जानत ह कि एसिया पहुँचइ क बाद पहिले दिन स ही हर समइ मइँ तोहरे संग कइसे रहत हउँ।

¹⁹serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears, and with trials which happened to me by the plots of the Jews;

¹⁹अउर बड़ा दीन होइके आँसू टपकाइ टपकाइके यहूदी लोगन्क कुचाल क कारण मोह प कइउ परीच्छा मँ भी मइँ दीनता पूर्वक पर्भू क सेवा करत रहेउँ।

²⁰how I didn’t shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, teaching you publicly and from house to house,

²⁰तू पचे जानत बाट्या कि मइँ तोहका तोहरे भलाई क कउनो बाते स बतावइ मँ कबहुँ हिचकिचाएउँ नाहीं। अउर मैं तोहका ओन बातन क सबहिं मनइयन क बीच अउर घरे घरे जाइके उपदेस देइ मँ कबहुँ नाहीं झिझक्यों।

²¹testifying both to Jews and to Greeks repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus. TR adds “Christ”

²¹यहूदियन अउर यूनानियन क मइँ बराबर क भाव स मनफिराव बरे, परमेस्सर कइँती मोड़इ बरे मँ कहत रहेउँ ह अउर हमार पर्भू ईसू मँ बिसवास बरे ओनका चिताउनी दिहेउँ ह।

²²Now, behold, I go bound by the Spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there;

²²अउर अब पवित्तर आतिमा क अधीन मँ मइँ यरुसलेम जात अहउँ मइँ नाहीं जानत हउँ हुआँ मोरे संग का कछू घटी।

²³except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions wait for me.

²³मइँ तउ सिरिफ ऍतना जानत हउँ कि हर सहर मँ पवित्तर आतिमा इ कहत भइ मोका चउकन्ना करत रहत ही कि जेल अउर घोर संकट मोका जोहात बाटेन।

²⁴But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.

²⁴मुला मोरे बरे प्राण क कउनो कीमत नाहीं बा। मइँ तउ बस उ दौड़ धूप अउर उ सेवा क पूरा करइ चाहत हउँ जेका मइँ पर्भू ईसू स ग्रहण करेउँ ह-परमेस्सर क अनुग्रह क सुसमाचार क साच्छी देब।

²⁵“Now, behold, I know that you all, among whom I went about preaching the Kingdom of God, will see my face no more.

²⁵“अउर अब मइँ जानत हउँ कि तोहमाँ स कउनो भी, जेनकइ मँ मइँ परमेस्सर क राज्य क प्रचार करत घूमेउँ ह, मोर मुँह अगवा कबहुँ न लखि पाइ।

²⁶Therefore I testify to you this day that I am clean from the blood of all men,

²⁶यह बरे आजु मइँ तोहरे समन्वा गोहराइ के कहत हउँ कि तू सबन मँ स कउनो मँ स कोइ खोवाय जाइ त ओकर दोखी मइँ नाहीं अहउँ।

²⁷for I didn’t shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.

²⁷काहेकि मइँ परमेस्सर क पूरी इच्छा क तोहका बतावइ क मँ मइ कबहुँ हिचकिचाएउँ नाहीं।

²⁸Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of the Lord and TR, NU omit “the Lord and” God which he purchased with his own blood.

²⁸आपन अउर आपन जात बिरादरी क देख भाल करत रहा। पवित्तर आतिमा ओहमाँ स तोहका ओन प चउकसी करइ बरे बनएस ह जेहसे तू परमेस्सर क कलीसिया क धियान राखा जेहसे उ आपन रकत क बदले बेसहे रहा।

²⁹For I know that after my departure, vicious wolves will enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

²⁹मइँ जानत हउँ कि मोरे बिदा होइ जाए क पाछे सिकारी बिगवा तोहरे बीच अइही अउर उ पचे इ भोला भाला झुंड क न छोरिहीं।

³⁰Men will arise from among your own selves, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them.

³⁰हिआँ तलक कि तोहरे आपन बीच मँ स ही अइसेन मनई भी उठि जइहीं, जउन चेलन क पाछे लगाइ लेइ बरे बात क घुमाइ फिराइ क कइहीं।

³¹Therefore watch, remembering that for a period of three years I didn’t cease to admonish everyone night and day with tears.

³¹यह बरे होसियार रह्या। याद राखा कि मइँ तिन बरिस तलक एक एक क दिन रात रोइ रोइ क चिताउनी देब नाहीं तज्यों रहे।

³²Now, brothers, The word for “brothers” here and where the context allows may also be correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” I entrust you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build up, and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

³²“अब मइँ तोहका परमेस्सर अउर ओकर सुसमाचार क अनुग्रह क हाथे अर्पण करत हउँ। उहइ तोहका बनइ सकत ह् अउर ओन मनइयन क संग जेनका पवित्तर कीन्ह गवा अहइ, तोहका बारिस बनइ सकत ह।

³³I coveted no one’s silver, or gold, or clothing.

³³मइँ कबहुँ कउनो क सोना-चाँदी या ओढ़ना क नाहीं ललचाएउँ ह।

³⁴You yourselves know that these hands served my necessities, and those who were with me.

³⁴तू सबइ ही जानत ह मोर इ हथवन ही मोर अउर मोरे संगिन की जरूरत क पूरा किहेस ह।

³⁵In all things I gave you an example, that so laboring you ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”

³⁵मइँ आपन हर करम स तोहका इ देखॉवा ह कि करर्ी मेहनत करत भए हमका निर्बल क मदद कउने तरह करइ चाही अउर हमका पर्भू ईसू क बचन याद रखइ चाही जेहसे उ खुद कहे रहा, ‘लेइ स देइ मँ जिआदा सुख बा।”‘

³⁶When he had spoken these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.

³⁶इ कहि चुके क पाछे ओन सबन क संग उ घुटना क बल निहुरा अउर उ पराथना किहेस।

³⁷They all wept a lot, and fell on Paul’s neck and kissed him,

³⁷हर कउनो भोंकारा मारिके रोवत रहा। मिलना मिलत भए उ पचे ओका चूमत रहेन।

³⁸sorrowing most of all because of the word which he had spoken, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him to the ship.

³⁸उ जउन इ कहे रहा कि पचे ओकर मुँहना फिन कबहुँ न लखिहीं, ऍहसे मनई जिआदा दुःखी रहेन। फिन उ पचे ओकर रच्छा करत भए जहाजे तलक पहोंचाइ दिहेन।
