1Agrippa said to Paul, “You may speak for yourself.” Then Paul stretched out his hand, and made his defense.
1अग्रिप्पा पौलुस स कहेस, “तोहका खुद आपन कइँती स बोलइ क अनुमति बाटइ।” ऍह पइ पौलुस आपन हाथ उठाएस अउर आपन बचाव मँ बोलब सुरू किहेस,
2“I think myself happy, King Agrippa, that I am to make my defense before you this day concerning all the things that I am accused by the Jews,
2“हे राजा अग्रिप्पा, मइँ आपन क भाग्यवान समुझत हउँ कि यहूदियन मोह पइ जउन जुर्म लगाए बाटेन, ओन सब बातन क बचाउ मँ, तोहरे अगवा बोलइ जात हउँ।
3especially because you are expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews. Therefore I beg you to hear me patiently.
3खास तरह स इ यह बरे सच अहइ कि तोहका सबहिं यहूदी रीति रिवाज अउर ओनके विवाद क गियान अहइ। यह बरे मइँ तोहसे पराथना करत हउँ कि धीरझ क साथ मोर बात सुनी जाइ।
4“Indeed, all the Jews know my way of life from my youth up, which was from the beginning among my own nation and at Jerusalem;
4“सबहिं यहूदी जानत ही कि सुरू स ही खुद आपन देस मँ अउर यरुसलेम मँ भी बचपन स ही मइँ कइसा जिन्नगी जिए अहइ।
5having known me from the first, if they are willing to testify, that after the strictest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.
5उ पचे मोका बहोत समइ स जानत हीं अउर जदि उ पचे चाहइँ तउ इ बात क साच्छी दइ सकत हीं मइँ आपन धरम क एक सबसे जिआदा कट्टर पंथ क मुताबकि एक फरीसी क रूप मँ जिन्नगी बिताएउँ ह।
6Now I stand here to be judged for the hope of the promise made by God to our fathers,
6अउर अब इ मुकदमा क सफाई क हालत मँ खड़ा भए मोका उ बचन क भरोसा अहइ जउन परमेस्सर हमरे पूर्वजन क दिहे रहा।
7which our twelve tribes, earnestly serving night and day, hope to attain. Concerning this hope I am accused by the Jews, King Agrippa!
7इ उहइ बचन अहइ जेका हमार बारहु जातिन रात दिन मन लगाइके परमेस्सर क सेवा करत भए, पावइ क भरोसा रखत हीं हे राजन! इहइ भरोसा क कारण मोह प यहूदियन क जरिए जुर्म लगावा जात अहइ।
8Why is it judged incredible with you, if God does raise the dead?
8तू पचन मँ स कउनो क भी इ बात बिसवास क जोग्ग काहे नाहीं लागत बा कि परमेस्सर मरे भए क जिआइ देत ह।
9“I myself most certainly thought that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
9“मइँ भी सोचत रहेउँ नासरी ईसू क नाउँ क खिलाफत करइ क लिए जउन भी बन पड़इ उ बहोत कछू करुँ।
10This I also did in Jerusalem. I both shut up many of the saints in prisons, having received authority from the chief priests, and when they were put to death I gave my vote against them.
10अउर अइसा ही मइँ यरुसलेम मँ किहेउँ भी। मइँ परमेस्सर क बहोत स भगतन क जेलि मँ धाँध दिहेउँ काहेकि मुख्याजक लोगन स ऍकरे बरे मोका हक मिला रहा। अउर जब ओनका मारा गवा तउ मइँ आपन मत ओऩकइ खिलाफ दिहउँ।
11Punishing them often in all the synagogues, I tried to make them blaspheme. Being exceedingly enraged against them, I persecuted them even to foreign cities.
11आराधनालय मँ स मइँ ओनका अक्सर सजा देत रहेउँ अउर ईसू क निन्दा करइ बरे ओन पइ दबाव डावइ क जतन करत रहेउँ। ओनकइ बरे मोर किरोध ऍतना जिआदा रहा कि ओनका सतावइ बरे मइँ बाहेर क सहर तलक गएउँ।
12“Whereupon as I traveled to Damascus with the authority and commission from the chief priests,
12“अइसी ही एक जात्रा क मौके प जब मइँ मुख्ययाजक स आग्या पाइके दमिस्क जात रहेउँ,
13at noon, O king, I saw on the way a light from the sky, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who traveled with me.
13तबहिं दुपहरिया क जब मइँ अबहिं राहे मँ रहेउँ ही कि मइँ हे राजन, सरग स एक प्रकास उतरत भवा लखेउँ। ओकर तेज सूरज स भी जिआदा रहा। उ मोरे अउर मोरे संग क मनइयन क चारिहुँ कइँती चमचमान।
14When we had all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’
14हम पचे धरती प भहराइ गएऩ, फिन मोका एक बानी सुनाइ दिहेस। उ इब्रानी भाखा मँ मोसे कहत रही, ‘साऊल, अरे ओ साऊल, तू मोपर अत्याचार करत अहा? इ तू अहा जो मोरे विरूद्ध लड़ कर मोका सतावत अहा। धार क नोंक प लात मारब तेरे बस क बात नाहीं अहइ।’
15“I said, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ “He said, ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.
15फिन मइँ पूछेउँ, ‘हे पर्भू, तू कउन अहा?’ पर्भू जवाब दिहेस, ‘मइँ ईसू हउँ जेका तू यातना देत बाट्या।
16 But arise, and stand on your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose: to appoint you a servant and a witness both of the things which you have seen, and of the things which I will reveal to you;
16मुला अब तू उठा अउर आपन गोड़े प खड़ा ह्वा। मइँ तोहरे अगवा यह बरे परगट भएउँ ह कि तोहका एक सेवक क रूप भर्ती करउँ अउर जउऩ कछू मइँ तोहका देखाउब, ओकर तू साच्छी रह्या।
17 delivering you from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom I send you,
17मइँ जउऩ यहूदियन अउर गैर यहूदियन क लगे
18 to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’
18ओकर आँखी खोलइ, ओनका अँधियारा स प्रकास कइँती लावइ अउर सइतान क सक्ती स परमेस्सर कइँती मोड़इ बरे, तोहका पठवत हउँ, ओनसे तोहार रच्छा करत्त रहब। ऍहसे उ पचे पापन स छमा पइहीं अउर ओन मनइयन क बीच ठउर पइहीं जउन मोहे मँ बिसवास धरइ क कारण पवित्तर भएन ह।”‘
19“Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision,
19हे राजन् अग्रिप्पा, यह बरे तबहिं स उ दर्सन क आग्या क कबहुँ भी न उल्लंघन किए भए
20but declared first to them of Damascus, at Jerusalem, and throughout all the country of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.
20बल्कि ओकरे खिलाफ मइँ पहिले ओनका दमिस्क मँ, फिन यरुसलेम मँ अउर यहूदिया क समुचइ पहँटा मँ उपदेस देत रहा। अउर गैर यहूदियन क मनफिराव क मुताबिक करम करइ बरे कहत रहा।
21For this reason the Jews seized me in the temple, and tried to kill me.
21इहइ कारण जब मइँ हिआँ मंदिर मँ रहा, यहूदी लोग मोका धइ लिहेन अउर मोर कतल क जतन किहेन।
22Having therefore obtained the help that is from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would happen,
22मुला आजु तलक मोका परमेस्सर क मदद मिलत रही ह अउर यह बरे मइँ हिआँ छोट अउर बड़कवा सबहिं लोगन क समन्वा साच्छी देइ बरे खड़ा हउँ। मइँ बस ओन बातन क तजिके अउर कछू नवा नाहीं कहत जउन नबियन अउर मूसा क मुताबिक होइ क रही
23how the Christ must suffer, and how, by the resurrection of the dead, he would be first to proclaim light both to these people and to the Gentiles.”
23कि मसीह क यातना भोगइ क होइ अउर मरे भएऩ मँ पहिला जी जाइवाला होइ अउर उ यहूदियन अउर गैर यहूदियन क जोति क संदेस देइ।”
24As he thus made his defense, Festus said with a loud voice, “Paul, you are crazy! Your great learning is driving you insane!”
24उ आपन बचाउ मँ जब इ बातन क कहत ही रहाकि फेस्तुस चिल्लाईके कहेस, “पौलुस तोहार दिमाग खराब होइ ग अहइ। तोहार जिआदा पढ़ाई तोहका पगलाइ देति अहइ।”
25But he said, “I am not crazy, most excellent Festus, but boldly declare words of truth and reasonableness.
25पौलुस कहेस, “हे परमगुनी फेस्तुस, मइँ पागल नाहीं अहउँ बल्कि जउन बातन क मइँ कहत रहेउँ ह उ सच अहइँ अउर संगत भी अहइँ।
26For the king knows of these things, to whom also I speak freely. For I am persuaded that none of these things is hidden from him, for this has not been done in a corner.
26खुद राजा बातन क जानत बा अउर मइँ अजादी क मन स ओसे कहि सकत हउँ। मोर निस्चय अहइ कि एनमाँ स कउनो बात ओकरी आँखिन स, ओझल नाहीं बाटइ। मइँ अइसा यह बरे कहत हउँ कि इ बात कउनो कोने मँ नाहीं कही गइ।
27King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you believe.”
27हे राजन् अग्रिप्पा, नबियन जउन लिखे अहइँ का तू ओहमाँ बिसवास रखत ह? मइँ जानत हउँ कि तोहार बिसवास अहइ!”
28Agrippa said to Paul, “With a little persuasion are you trying to make me a Christian?”
28ऍह पइ अग्रिप्पा पौलुस स कहेस, “का तू इ सोचत ह कि ऍतनी असानी स तू मोका मसीही बनवइ क मनाइ लेब्या?”
29Paul said, “I pray to God, that whether with little or with much, not only you, but also all that hear me this day, might become such as I am, except for these bonds.”
29पौलुस जवाब दिहेस, “तनिक समइ मँ, चाहे जिआदा समइ मँ, परमेस्सर स मोर पराथना अहइ कि सिरिफ तू बल्कि उ पचे भी, जउन आजु मोका सुनत बाटेन, वइसा ही होइ जाइँ, जइसा मइँ हउँ, सिवाय इ जंजीरन क।”
30The king rose up with the governor, and Bernice, and those who sat with them.
30फिन राजा खड़ा होइ गवा अउर ओकरे संग ही राज्यपाल बिरनिके अउर साथ मँ बइठा भए लोग भी उठिके खड़ा होइ गेएन।
31When they had withdrawn, they spoke one to another, saying, “This man does nothing worthy of death or of bonds.”
31हुवाँ स बाहेर निकरिके उ पचे आपुस मँ बात करत भए कहइ लागेन, “इ मनई तउ अइसा कछू नाहीं किहे बा, जेहसे ऍका मउत क सजा या जेल मिल सकइ।”
32Agrippa said to Festus, “This man might have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar.”
32अग्रिप्पा फेस्तुस स कहेस, “जदि इ कैसर क समन्वा फिन स बिचार क पराथना न होत, तउ इ मनई क छोड़ जाइ सकत रहा।”
