¹When they drew near to Jerusalem, to Bethsphage TR & NU read “Bethphage” instead of “Bethsphage” and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,

¹फिन जइसे यरूसलेम क नगिचे जैतून क पहाड़ी प बैतफगे अउर बैतनिय्याह पहुँचेन, उ आपन चेलन मँ दुइ क पठएस।

²and said to them, “Go your way into the village that is opposite you. Immediately as you enter into it, you will find a young donkey tied, on which no one has sat. Untie him, and bring him.

²अउर ओसे कहेस, “जा गाउँ मँ जइसे तू हुवाँ घुसब्या, तू एक ठु गदही क बच्चा बाँधा भवा पउब्या, जेह प पहिले कबहुँ नाहीं कउनो चढ़ा होई। ओका खोल द्या अउर हियाँ लिआवा।

³ If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs him;’ and immediately he will send him back here.”

³जदि तोसे कउनो पूछइ कि तू अइसे काहे करत अहा, तउ तू कह्या, ‘प्रर्भू क ऍकर जरूरत अहइ, फिन उ ऍका फउरन पठइ देइ।”‘

⁴They went away, and found a young donkey tied at the door outside in the open street, and they untied him.

⁴तउ उ पचे चलि पड़ेन। उ गदही क बच्चा क बँधा भवा दुआर क नगिचे खुली गली मँ पाएन। उ पचे ओका छोरि दिहन।

⁵Some of those who stood there asked them, “What are you doing, untying the young donkey?”

⁵कछू मनई जउन हुवाँ खरा रहेन ओनसे पूछेन, “उ गदहिया क बच्चा क काहे तू पचे छोरिके का करत बाट्या?”

⁶They said to them just as Jesus had said, and they let them go.

⁶उ पचे ओनका बताएन जरुन ईसू कहेस। तउ उ सबइ ओनका जाइ दिहेन।

⁷They brought the young donkey to Jesus, and threw their garments on it, and Jesus sat on it.

⁷उ पचे गदहिया का बच्चा क ईसू क लगे लइ आएन। अउर उ पचे आपन ओढ़ना ओह प डारि दिहन। फिन ईसू ओह प बइठा।

⁸Many spread their garments on the way, and others were cutting down branches from the trees, and spreading them on the road.

⁸बहोत मिला आपन लबादा क सरकिया प डारि दिहन अउर दूसर खेते स टहनियन क काटि लिहन अउर हुवाँ बिछाइ दिहन।

⁹Those who went in front, and those who followed, cried out, “Hosanna “Hosanna” means “save us” or “help us, we pray.” ! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Psalm 118:25-26

⁹उ मनइयन जउन ईसू क अगवा अउर पाछे चलत रहेन, उ पचे पुकार रहेन: ‘होसन्ना! धन्य अहइ उ जउन पर्भू क नाउँ प आवत ह।’ भजन संहिता 128:25-26

¹⁰Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is coming in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

¹⁰धन्य अहइ हमार पिता दाऊद क राज्य क अवाई, जउन आवत अहइ, होसन्ना सरग मँ।”

¹¹Jesus entered into the temple in Jerusalem. When he had looked around at everything, it being now evening, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.

¹¹तब ईसू यरूसलेम घुसा अउर मन्दिर मँ घुसा। उ हर चीज क चारिहुँ कइँती निहारेस। एह बरे दिन ओनवत देर होइ गइ। उ बारहु प्रेरितन क संग बैतनिय्याह चला गवा।

¹²The next day, when they had come out from Bethany, he was hungry.

¹²दूसरे दिन जब उ सबइ बैतनिय्याह स निकसत रहेन, ओनका भूखि लाग।

¹³Seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came to see if perhaps he might find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.

¹³तनिक दूरी प ओका एक ठु हरिअर अंजीर क पेड़ देखान। उ देखइ गवा कि ओका कछू खाइके ओह प मिल जाइ। जब उ पेड़े क लगे आवा, उ पातिन छोड़िके कछू नाहीं पाएस, काहेकि इ रितु अंजीर क नाहीं रही।

¹⁴Jesus told it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again!” and his disciples heard it.

¹⁴तबहिं उ बिरवा स कहेस, “अब तोसे कबहुँ कउनो तोहार फल फिन न चखी।” ओकर चेलन इ सुनेन।

¹⁵They came to Jerusalem, and Jesus entered into the temple, and began to throw out those who sold and those who bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of those who sold the doves.

¹⁵तबहिं उ सबई यरूसलेम गएन अउर उ पचे मन्दिर मँ घुसेन तउ ईसू ओनका निकारइ लाग जउन मन्दिर मँ बेसहत अउर खरीदत रहेन। उ पइसे क लेब देब करइया महाजनन क चउकियन क पलट दिहस अउर कबूतरे क बेचवइयाँ क बिंचिया पलटेस।

¹⁶He would not allow anyone to carry a container through the temple.

¹⁶उ मन्दिर मँ स कउनो क कउनो क कछू नाहीं लइ जाइ दिहस।

¹⁷He taught, saying to them, “Isn’t it written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations?’ Isaiah 56:7 But you have made it a den of robbers!” Jeremiah 7:11

¹⁷तबहिं उ ओनका उपदेस देइ लाग। फिन उ ओनसे कहेस, “का इ पवित्तर सास्तरन मँ लिखा नाहीं बाटइ कि, ‘मोर घर पराथना घर कहा जाई?’ मुला तू पचे ऍका ‘चोरन क अड्डा बनइ दिहा।”

¹⁸The chief priests and the scribes heard it, and sought how they might destroy him. For they feared him, because all the multitude was astonished at his teaching.

¹⁸जबहि मुख्ययाजकन अउर धरम सास्तिरियन इ बात सुनेन, उ सबइ ओका मारि डारइ क तरकीब सोचइ लागेन। अइसे उ पचे डेरानन, काहेकि ईसू क उपदेस स सब मनइयन अचरजि मँ पड़ि गएन।

¹⁹When evening came, he went out of the city.

¹⁹फिन जब सांझ भइ तउ उ सबइ सहर स बाहेर गएन।

²⁰As they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots.

²⁰दुसरे दिन भिंसारे जबहिं ईसू आपन चेलन क संग जात रहा तबइ उ पचे उ अंजीर क बिरवा क जड़े स झुराइ गवा देखेन।

²¹Peter, remembering, said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which you cursed has withered away.”

²¹तइसे पतरस याद कइके ईसू स कहेस, “हे गुरु, जउने अंजीर क बिरवा क तू सराप्या ह, उ झुराइ गवा ह।”

²²Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.

²²ईसू ओनका जबाव दिहेस, “परमेस्सर मँ बिसवास राखा।

²³ For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening; he shall have whatever he says.

²³मइँ तोसे सच सच कहत हउँ: जदि कउनो इ पहाड़े स कही ‘तू उठि जा अउर समुद्दर मँ फाट पड़ा।’ अउर ओकरे मनवा मँ रचिकउ संदेह नाहीं रही मुला बिसवास होई कि जइसा उ कहेस ह, वइसा होइ जाइ तउ ओकरे बरे वइसा होई।

²⁴ Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.

²⁴एह बरे मइँ तोहका बतावत अही कि तू पराथना मँ जउन मंगब्या बिसवास करा उ तोहका मिलि गवा ह अउर उ तोहरा होइ ग अहइ।

²⁵ Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions.

²⁵अउर जब कबहुँ तू पराथना करत खड़ा होइ जा तउ कउनो कि खिलाफ तोहका सिकाइत होई तउ ओका तू छमा कइ द्या जइसे सरगे मँ स्थित तोहार परमपिता तोहरे पापन्क छमा कइ देई।”

²⁶ But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your transgressions.”

²⁷They came again to Jerusalem, and as he was walking in the temple, the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders came to him,

²⁷फिन उ पचे यरूसलेम लउट आएन। ईसू जब मन्दिर मँ टहरत रहा तउ मुख्ययाजकन, धरम सास्तिरियन, बुजुर्ग यहूदी नेतन ईसू क लगे आएन।

²⁸and they began saying to him, “By what authority do you do these things? Or who gave you this authority to do these things?”

²⁸उ पचे ईसू स कहेन, “हमका बतावा! तू इ कामन क कउने अधिकार स करत बाट्या? कउन तोहका अधिकार दिहेस ह”

²⁹Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.

²⁹ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “मइँ तोहसे एक सवाल पूछत हउँ। तू मोरे सवाल क जबाव द्या? तउ मइँ तोहका बताउब कि कउने अधिकारे स मइँ इ काम करत हउँ।

³⁰ The baptism of John—was it from heaven, or from men? Answer me.”

³⁰मोका बतावा: यूहन्ना जउन बपतिस्मा देत रहा, का ओहका सोझे सरगे स या मनई स मिला रहा?”

³¹They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we should say, ‘From heaven;’ he will say, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’

³¹ईसू क सवाले प उ सब बिचारत बिचारत आपुस मँ कहइ लागेन कि, “जदि हम पचे इ कहित ह, ‘ओका इ सरगे स मिला रहा,’ तउ ईसू कही, ‘फिन तू पचे ओह प बिसवास काहे नाहीं करत्या?’

³²If we should say, ‘From men’”—they feared the people, for all held John to really be a prophet.

³²अउर जदि हम पचे इ कही, ‘उ मनई स पाए रहा’ तउ सब मनई हम प रिसियाइ जइहीं।” (ई नेतन लोग मनइयन स डेरात रहेन। सब मनइयन क बिसवास रहा कि यूहन्ना नबी अहइ।)

³³They answered Jesus, “We don’t know.” Jesus said to them, “Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.”

³³एह बरे यहूदी नेतन ईसू स कहेन, “हम पचे जानित नाहीं।” ऍह पइ ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “तउ फिन मइँ तोहका नाहीं बतावत अही कि इ काज मइँ कउने अधिकारे स करत हउँ।”
