³Dušmani moji nasrću na me povazdan, mnogo ih je koji se na me obaraju. Svevišnji,

⁴In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?

⁴kad me strah spopadne, u te ću se uzdati.

⁵All day long they twist my words. All their thoughts are against me for evil.

⁵Božje obećanje slavim, u Boga ja se uzdam i neću se bojati: što mi može učiniti smrtnik?

⁶They conspire and lurk, watching my steps, they are eager to take my life.

⁶Od jutra do večeri obružuju me, svi naumi njihovi meni su na zlo.

⁷Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, God.

⁷Sastaju se i vrebaju, paze mi na korake, o glavi mi rade.

⁸You number my wanderings. You put my tears into your bottle. Aren’t they in your book?

⁸Plati im prema bezakonju, u gnjevu, o Bože, obori pogane!

⁹Then my enemies shall turn back in the day that I call. I know this, that God is for me.

⁹Ti izbroji dane mog progonstva, sabrao si suze moje u mijehu svom. Nije li sve zapisano u knjizi tvojoj?

¹⁰In God, I will praise his word. In Yahweh, I will praise his word.

¹⁰Moji će dušmani uzmaknuti čim te zazovem. Ovo sigurno znam: Bog je za mene!

¹¹I have put my trust in God. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

¹¹Božje obećanje slavim,

¹²Your vows are on me, God. I will give thank offerings to you.

¹²u Jahvu se uzdam i neću se bojati: što mi može učiniti čovjek?

¹³For you have delivered my soul from death, and prevented my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living.

¹³Vežu me zavjeti koje učinih tebi, o Bože: prinijet ću ti žrtve zahvalne

¹⁴jer si mi dušu od smrti spasio. Ti si očuvao noge moje od pada, da pred Bogom hodim u svjetlosti živih.
