1David made him houses in the city of David; and he prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.
1داود برای خود قصری در شهر داود آباد کرد او همچنین جائی برای صندوق پیمان خدا تهیه و خیمۀ آنرا برپا کرد.
2Then David said, “No one ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites. For Yahweh has chosen them to carry the ark of God, and to minister to him forever.”
2بعد داود گفت: «بغیر از لاویان هیچ کس دیگر حق ندارد که صندوق پیمان خدا را حمل کند، زیرا خداوند تنها آن ها را مأمور حمل صندوق پیمان تعیین فرموده است و آن ها همیشه در حضور او کمربستۀ خدمت باشند.»
3David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of Yahweh to its place, which he had prepared for it.
3آنگاه داود تمام مردم اسرائیل را در اورشلیم جمع کرد تا صندوق پیمان خداوند را به جائیکه برایش تهیه کرده بود بیاورند.
4David gathered together the sons of Aaron, and the Levites:
4سپس اولادۀ هارون و لاویان را بحضور خود احضار کرد.
5of the sons of Kohath, Uriel the chief, and his brothers one hundred twenty;
5از اولادۀ قهات: اُوری ئیل، سرکرده با یکصد و بیست نفر از خویشاوندان او؛
6of the sons of Merari, Asaiah the chief, and his brothers two hundred twenty;
6از اولادۀ مَراری: عَسایا، سرکرده با دوصد و بیست نفر از خویشاوندان او؛
7of the sons of Gershom, Joel the chief, and his brothers one hundred thirty;
7از اولادۀ جرشوم: یوئیل، سرکرده با یکصد و سی نفر از خویشاوندان او؛
8of the sons of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the chief, and his brothers two hundred;
8از اولادۀ الیصافان: شِمَعیه، سرکرده با دوصد نفر از خویشاوندان او؛
9of the sons of Hebron, Eliel the chief, and his brothers eighty;
9از اولادۀ حِبرون: اِیلیئیل، سرکرده با هشتاد نفر از خویشاوندان او؛
10of the sons of Uzziel, Amminadab the chief, and his brothers one hundred twelve.
10از اولادۀ عُزی ئیل: عمیناداب، سرکرده با یکصد و دوازده نفر از خویشاوندان او.
11David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,
11بعد داود دو نفر از کاهنان، یعنی صادوق و ابیاتار را با شش نفر از لاویان که عبارت بودند از اُوری ئیل، عَسایا، یوئیل، شِمَعیه، اِیلیئیل و عمیناداب بحضور خود فراخواند و
12and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring up the ark of Yahweh, the God of Israel, to the place that I have prepared for it.
12به آن ها گفت: «چون شما رهبران قبیلۀ لاوی هستید، پس با برادران تان طهارت کنید و خود را پاک سازید تا صندوق پیمان خداوند را به جائیکه برایش تهیه کرده ام، بیاورید. در دفعۀ اول خداوند ما را جزا داد،
13For because you didn’t carry it at first, Yahweh our God made broke out against us, because we didn’t seek him according to the ordinance.”
13زیرا شما که مسئول حمل آن بودید آنرا حمل نکردید و ما طبق هدایت شریعت و با مراسم خاص وظیفۀ خود را اجراء ننمودیم.»
14So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of Yahweh, the God of Israel.
14پس کاهنان و لاویان طهارت کردند و خود را پاک ساختند و برای آوردن صندوق پیمان خداوند آماده شدند.
15The children of the Levites bore the ark of God on their shoulders with the poles thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of Yahweh.
15آنگاه لاویان قرار هدایتی که خداوند به موسی داده بود، صندوق پیمان را ذریعۀ میله های دو طرف آن بر شانه های خود حمل کردند.
16David spoke to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brothers the singers, with instruments of music, stringed instruments and harps and cymbals, sounding aloud and lifting up the voice with joy.
16داود همچنان به سرکردگان لاوی امر کرد که سرایندگان و نوازندگانی را از بین برادران خود تعیین کنند تا ساز چنگ و رباب و دُهل را بنوازند و نوای بلند شادمانی و خوشی را بسرایند.
17So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brothers, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brothers, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;
17پس لاویان هیمان، پسر یوئیل؛ از خویشاوندان او، آساف، پسر بَرَکیا؛ از اولادۀ مَراری ایتان، پسر قوشیا
18and with them their brothers of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Eliphelehu, and Mikneiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.
18و همچنین از نوازندگان درجه دوم، زکریا، بِن، یَعزی ئیل، شمیراموت، یحیئیل، عُنی، اِلیاب، بنایا، مَعَسیا، مَتتیا، اَلیفَلیا و مَقَنیا و از دروازه بانان عوبید ادوم و یعی ئیل را انتخاب کردند.
19So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were given cymbals of brass to sound aloud;
19خوانندگان: هیمان و آساف بودند و ایتان نوازندۀ سنج بود.
20and Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with stringed instruments set to Alamoth;
20برای کمک به ایشان این افراد نیز تعیین شدند تا با نواختن چنگ ایشان را همراهی کنند: زِکَریا، عزیئیل، شمیراموت، یحیئیل، عُنی، اِلیاب، مَعَسیا و بنایا.
21and Mattithiah, and Eliphelehu, and Mikneiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps tuned to the eight-stringed lyre, to lead.
21برای نواختن رباب نیز اشخاص زیر انتخاب شدند: مَتتیا، اَلیفَلیا، مَقَنیا، عَزَریا از لاویان و همچنین عوبید ادوم و یعی ئیل که هردو از دروازه بانان بودند.
22Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was over the song: he instructed about the song, because he was skillful.
22کَنَنیا رهبری نوازندگان خاندان لاوی را بعهده داشت و آن ها را تعلیم می داد، زیرا او یک موسیقی دان ماهر بود.
23Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.
23بَرَکیا و اَلقانَه دروازه بانان صندوق پیمان خدا بودند.
24Shebaniah, and Joshaphat, and Nethanel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, blew the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obed-Edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.
24شَبَنیا، یوشافاط، نتنئیل، عَماسای، زِکَریا، بنایا و اَلِیَعَزر کاهنانی بودند که پیشروی صندوق پیمان خدا شیپور می نواختند. عوبید ادوم و یحیی دروازه بانان صندوق پیمان خدا بودند.
25So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of Yahweh out of the house of Obed-Edom with joy.
25بعد داود، رهبران قوم اسرائیل و قوماندانهای فرقه های هزار نفری با خوشی و سرور زیاد رفتند تا صندوق پیمان خداوند را از خانۀ عوبید ادوم بیاورند.
26It happened, when God helped the Levites who bore the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, that they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.
26برای اینکه خدا در بردن صندوق پیمان به لاویان کمک کرد، هفت گاو و هفت گوسفند را بعنوان شکرانگی قربانی نمودند.
27David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites who bore the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: and David had on him an ephod of linen.
27داود و همچنان لاویانِ حامل صندوق پیمان، خوانندگان و نوازندگان و کَنَنیا رهبر آن ها همه ملبس با لباس نفیس بودند و داود ایفود کتانی هم بتن داشت.
28Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of Yahweh with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, sounding aloud with stringed instruments and harps.
28به این ترتیب، همه مردم اسرائیل با فریاد و نوای نَی، شیپور و دایره و سرود بلند چنگ و رباب صندوق پیمان خداوند را آوردند.وقتی صندوق پیمان خداوند به شهر داود داخل شد، میکال دختر شائول از کلکین خانه به بیرون نگاه کرد. وقتی داود را دید که رقص و خوشی می کند، در دل خود او را تحقیر کرد.
29It happened, as the ark of the covenant of Yahweh came to the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David dancing and playing; and she despised him in her heart.
29وقتی صندوق پیمان خداوند به شهر داود داخل شد، میکال دختر شائول از کلکین خانه به بیرون نگاه کرد. وقتی داود را دید که رقص و خوشی می کند، در دل خود او را تحقیر کرد.
