1They brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.
1بالاخره صندوق پیمان خداوند را آوردند و آنرا در خیمه ای که داود برایش افراشته بود قرار دادند. بعد قربانی های سوختنی و سلامتی بحضور خداوند تقدیم کردند.
2When David had made an end of offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh.
2پس از ادای مراسم قربانی، داود تمام مردم اسرائیل را بنام خداوند برکت داد
3He dealt to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion of meat, and a cake of raisins.
3و به عموم مردم ـ زن و مرد ـ یک قرص نان، یک تکه گوشت و یک کیک کشمشی توزیع کرد.
4He appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of Yahweh, and to celebrate and to thank and praise Yahweh, the God of Israel:
4داود همچنین چند نفر از لاویان را برای خدمت در خیمۀ صندوق پیمان گماشت تا خداوند، خدای اسرائیل را یاد کنند، شکر گویند و سپاس نمایند.
5Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with stringed instruments and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;
5اینها آساف، رئیس و بعد از او زِکَریا، یعی ئیل، شمیراموت، یحیئیل، مَتتیا، اِلیاب، بنایا و عوبید ادوم بودند. یعی ئیل نوازندۀ چنگ و رباب بود و آساف دایره می نواخت.
6and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
6بنایا و یحزیئیل کاهن پیش صندوق پیمان خداوند بصورت متواتر شیپور می نواختند.
7Then on that day David first ordained to give thanks to Yahweh, by the hand of Asaph and his brothers.
7داود در همان روز برای اولین بار آساف و همراهان او را مأمور کرد که این سرود شکرانگی را بحضور خداوند بسرایند:
8Oh give thanks to Yahweh. Call on his name. Make his doings known among the peoples.
8خداوند را شکر کنید و نام او را بخوانید. اعمال او را به ملتها اعلام نمائید.
9Sing to him. Sing praises to him. Tell of all his marvelous works.
9برای او سرود بسرائید و او را ستایش کنید. از همه کارهای شگفت انگیز او خبر بدهید.
10Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.
10در نام مقدس او فخر کنید و دل مشتاقان خداوند شادمان باشد.
11Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more.
11خداوند و قوّت او را بطلبید و روی او را پیوسته بجوئید.
12Remember his marvelous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
12معجزاتی را که او انجام داده است به یاد آورید، همچنان نشانه های شگفت انگیز و داوری های دهان او را.
13you seed of Israel his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
13ای نسل بندۀ او ابراهیم و ای اولادۀ یعقوب برگزیدۀ او.
14He is Yahweh our God. His judgments are in all the earth.
14خداوند، خدای ما است. داوری های او در تمامی جهان است.
15Remember his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
15عهد او را به یاد آورید تا به ابد و کلامی را که بر هزاران پشت فرموده است،
16the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac.
16آن عهدی را که با ابراهیم بسته و وعده ای را که برای اسحاق داده است.
17He confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
17آنرا برای یعقوب به عنوان فریضه ای استوار ساخت و برای اسرائیل عهد جاودانی.
18saying, “I will give you the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance,”
18او گفت که سرزمین کنعان را به تو می دهم تا ملکیت شما گردد.
19when you were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners were in it.
19هنگامی که تعداد تان محدود و کم بود و در آنجا مثل بیگانگان بسر می بردید
20They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
20و از یک ملت به ملت دیگر و از یک مملکت به قوم دیگر می رفتند،
21He allowed no man to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,
21او نگذاشت که کسی بر ایشان ظلم کند و حتی پادشاهان را به خاطر ایشان توبیخ نمود.
22“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”
22او فرمود: «بر مَسح شدگان من دست نزنید و به انبیای من ضرر نرسانید.»
23Sing to Yahweh, all the earth! Display his salvation from day to day.
23ای تمامی زمین برای خداوند سرود بخوانید و مژدۀ نجات او را همه روزه بشارت دهید.
24Declare his glory among the nations, and his marvelous works among all the peoples.
24جلال و شکوه او را به ملتها اعلام کنید و کارهای شگفت انگیز او را در میان همۀ مردم.
25For great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised. He also is to be feared above all gods.
25زیرا خداوند عظیم و سزاوار ستایش. او مهیب است بر همۀ خدایان.
26For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but Yahweh made the heavens.
26زیرا همه خدایان دیگر بتها هستند، لیکن خداوند آسمان ها را آفرید.
27Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and gladness are in his place.
27عظمت و جلال به حضور وی است و قوّت و شادمانی در مکان او.
28Ascribe to Yahweh, you relatives of the peoples, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength!
28ای مردم جهان، خداوند را ستایش کنید! خداوند را در جلال و قدرت او توصیف نمائید!
29Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come before him. Worship Yahweh in holy array.
29خداوند را به جلال اسم او ستایش کنید! هدیه بیاورید و به پیشگاه او بیائید.
30Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established that it can’t be moved.
30ای تمامی زمین از حضور وی بلرزید. بلی، او کائنات را چنان برقرار و پایدار ساخته است که هرگز نمی جنبد.
31Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice! Let them say among the nations, “Yahweh reigns!”
31آسمان ها خوشی کنند و زمین شاد باشد. مردم در بین خود بگویند: «خداوند حکمفرمای جهان است!»
32Let the sea roar, and its fullness! Let the field exult, and all that is therein!
32بحرها و همه جانورانی که آن ها را پُر کرده اند، بغُرند، کشتزارها و هرچه که در آن ها هستند، خوشی کنند.
33Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth.
33همه درختان جنگل فریاد خوشی برآورند؛ به حضور خداوند زیرا که می آید، زیرا که برای داوری جهان می آید.
34Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.
34خداوند را سپاس گوئید، زیرا که نیکوست و رحمت او تا به ابد.
35Say, “Save us, God of our salvation! Gather us together and deliver us from the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise.”
35بگوئید: «ای خداوند، خدای ما، ما را نجات ده! ما را از میان ممالک بیگانه جمع کن تا نام مقدس تو را حمد گوئیم و ستایش تو افتخار ما باشد.»
36Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. All the people said, “Amen,” and praised Yahweh.
36خداوند، خدای اسرائیل از ازل تا به ابد متبارک باد! آنگاه همه مردم گفتند: «آمین!» و خداوند را ستایش کردند.
37So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, Asaph and his brothers, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required;
37داود آساف و همکارانش را گماشت تا همیشه و هر روزه برای خدمت در خیمۀ صندوق پیمان خداوند مشغول باشند.
38and Obed-Edom with their brothers, sixty-eight; Obed-Edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;
38او همچنین به عوبید ادوم (پسر یَدیتون) و شصت و هشت نفر از دستیاران او امر کرد که با آن ها کمک کنند. عوبید ادوم و حوسه وظیفۀ دروازه بانی را داشتند.
39and Zadok the priest, and his brothers the priests, before the tabernacle of Yahweh in the high place that was at Gibeon,
39صادوق کاهن و سایر کاهنان را هم برای خدمت در خیمۀ خداوند بالای تپه در جِبعون تعیین کرد
40to offer burnt offerings to Yahweh on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he commanded to Israel;
40تا برای خداوند قربانی های سوختنی را همیشه در صبح و شام بر قربانگاه آن مطابق هدایت شریعت خداوند به مردم اسرائیل، تقدیم کنند.
41and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest who were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to Yahweh, because his loving kindness endures forever;
41داود به هیمان، یدوتون و همه کسان دیگر که انتخاب و نام شان برده شد، گفت که خداوند را بخاطر محبت و شفقت همیشگی او ستایش کنند و شکر گویند.
42and with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.
42هیمان و یدوتون با نوای شیپور و دایره سرود حمد خداوند را با سرایندگان دیگر با آواز بلند همراهی می کردند. پسران یدوتون بحیث محافظین دروازه ها تعیین شدند.سرانجام مراسم بپایان رسید و مردم به خانه های خود رفتند. داود هم به خانۀ خود برگشت تا خانوادۀ خود را هم برکت بدهد.
43All the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
43سرانجام مراسم بپایان رسید و مردم به خانه های خود رفتند. داود هم به خانۀ خود برگشت تا خانوادۀ خود را هم برکت بدهد.
