¹The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

¹کلام خداوند بر من نازل شد:

²Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and tell them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed the sheep?

²«ای انسان خاکی، چوپانهای اسرائیل را سرزنش نما و برای شان پیشگویی کن و بگو خداوند متعال چنین می فرماید: وای بر شما ای چوپانان اسرائیل، وظیفۀ شما اینست که گله را بچرانید، اما شما در فکر سیر کردن شکم خود هستید.

³You eat the fat, and you clothe yourself with the wool, you kill the fatlings; but you don’t feed the sheep.

³شما شیر آن ها را می نوشید، از پشم شان برای خود لباس می دوزید، گوسفندان و چاق و چله را سر می بُرید، اما گله را نمی چرانید.

⁴You haven’t strengthened the diseased, neither have you healed that which was sick, neither have you bound up that which was broken, neither have you brought back that which was driven away, neither have you sought that which was lost; but with force and with rigor you have ruled over them.

⁴به حیوانات ضعیف گله کمک نکرده اید، بیماران آن ها را مداوا نکرده اید، دست و پای شکسته ای را معالجه ننموده اید، بدنبال آنهائی که از گله جدا مانده و گم شده اند نرفته اید، بلکه با زور و ستم بر آن ها حکومت کرده اید.

⁵They were scattered, because there was no shepherd; and they became food to all the animals of the field, and were scattered.

⁵بنابران چون چوپان و سرپرست نداشتند، همه پراگنده و خوراک حیوانات وحشی شدند.

⁶My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill: yes, my sheep were scattered on all the surface of the earth; and there was none who searched or sought.

⁶بلی، گلۀ من بر کوهها و تپه ها آواره و در سراسر روی زمین پراگنده گردیدند و هیچ کسی به جستجوی آن ها نرفت.

⁷Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:

⁷پس ای چوپانان، به کلام من که خداوند هستم گوش کنید:

⁸As I live, says the Lord Yahweh, surely because my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became food to all the animals of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves, and didn’t feed my sheep;

⁸آنچنان که من خداوند زنده هستم، بحیات خودم سوگند که چون شما از گلۀ من مراقبت نکردید و بدنبال گوسفندان گمشدۀ من نرفتید و گذاشتید که خوراک حیوانات وحشی شوند، به آن ها خوراک ندادید، بلکه از گوشت آن ها شکم خود را سیر کردید،

⁹therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:

⁹بنابران ای چوپانان بدانید که من، خداوند متعال، دشمن شما هستم و گوسفندان خود را از دست شما می گیرم تا دیگر نتوانید خود را سیر کنید و نمی گذارم که دیگر چوپان آن ها باشید. گوسفندان خود را از چنگ شما نجات می دهم تا آن ها را نخورید.»

¹⁰Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; and I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.

¹⁰خداوند متعال می فرماید: «خودم به سراغ گوسفندانم می روم و از آن ها مراقبت می کنم.

¹¹For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out.

¹¹همانطوری که یک چوپان گوسفندان پراگندۀ خود را جمع می کند و مراقب آن ها می باشد، من هم گوسفندان خود را که در آن روز ابری و تاریک پراگنده شده بودند، جمع می کنم.

¹²As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

¹²آن ها را از کشورها و از بین مردمان بیگانه بیرون می آورم و به وطن خود شان بازمی گردانم. آن ها را بر کوههای سرسبز اسرائیل و در کنار آب روان می پرورانم و همۀ آن سرزمین را در اختیار شان می گذارم.

¹³I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

¹³آن ها را در چراگاهها و بر فراز کوهها می چرانم. در سبزه زارهای خرم استراحت می کنند و بر کوههای سرسبز اسرائیل می چرند.

¹⁴I will feed them with good pasture; and on the mountains of the height of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie down in a good fold; and on fat pasture shall they feed on the mountains of Israel.

¹⁴خودم چوپان آن ها بوده آن ها را می گذارم که در آسودگی و آرامی بخوابند. خداوند متعال فرموده است.

¹⁵I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will cause them to lie down, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁵به سراغ گمشدگان می روم و آنهائی را که از گله جدا شده اند می آورم. زخمهای مجروحین را التیام می بخشم و به ضعیفان قوت و نیرو می دهم، اما گوسفندان قوی و فربه را از بین می برم و آن ها را با عدل و انصاف محاکمه می کنم.

¹⁶I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but the fat and the strong I will destroy; I will feed them in justice.

¹⁶ای گلۀ من، من خداوند متعال، بین هر کدام شما داوری کرده گوسفند را از بُز جدا می کنم.

¹⁷As for you, O my flock, thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I judge between sheep and sheep, the rams and the male goats.

¹⁷بعضی از شما با خوردن بهترین علفها قانع نمی شوند و آنچه را هم که از آن ها باقی می ماند، پایمال می کنند. شما وقتی از آب صاف و پاک می نوشید، بقیه را با پاهای تان گِل آلود می سازید.

¹⁸Does it seem a small thing to you to have fed on the good pasture, but you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture? and to have drunk of the clear waters, but you must foul the residue with your feet?

¹⁸پس آیا رواست که گوسفندان دیگر من علف پایمال شدۀ شما را بخورند و آبی را که گل آلود کرده اید بنوشند؟

¹⁹As for my sheep, they eat that which you have trodden with your feet, and they drink that which you have fouled with your feet.

¹⁹بنابران من، خداوند متعال، بین گوسفندان چاق و لاغر داوری می کنم،

²⁰Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh to them: Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.

²⁰زیرا شما گوسفندان ضعیف و لاغر را به یکسو می زنید و آن ها را با شاخهای تان می زنید و از گله جدا کرده به دور و نزدیک پراگنده می سازید.

²¹Because you thrust with side and with shoulder, and push all the diseased with your horns, until you have scattered them abroad;

²¹من گلۀ خود را نجات می دهم و دیگر نمی گذارم که در حق آن ها ظلم شود. بین گوسفندان خود داوری می کنم و خوب و بد را از هم جدا می سازم.

²²therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.

²²برای آن ها بندۀ خود، داود را بعنوان چوپان و راهنما تعیین می کنم و او از آن ها مراقبت می نماید.

²³I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

²³من، خداوند، خدای آن ها بوده و داود بر آن ها سلطنت می کند. من، خداوند این را گفته ام.

²⁴I, Yahweh, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them; I, Yahweh, have spoken it.

²⁴عهد می کنم که آن ها در امنیت زندگی کنند. حیوانات خطرناک را از سرزمین شان بیرون می رانم تا بتوانند که در صحرا و در جنگل به آسودگی و بدون خطر بخوابند.

²⁵I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil animals to cease out of the land; and they shall dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

²⁵آن ها را در اطراف کوه خود برکت می دهم و باران رحمت خود را در موسمش می فرستم.

²⁶I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing.

²⁶درختان و مزارع میوه و محصول فراوان بار می آورند و در خاک و وطن خود در امنیت زندگی می کنند و وقتی که آن ها را از یوغ و زنجیر اسارت رها کنم و دست و پای شان را از بند غلامی آزاد سازم، آنگاه می دانند که من خداوند هستم.

²⁷The tree of the field shall yield its fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I have broken the bars of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of those who made slaves of them.

²⁷دیگر هیچ قومی آن ها را غارت و تاراج نمی کند و حیوانات وحشی آن ها را نمی کشد. همه در آرامش و آسایش بسر می برند و هیچ کسی باعث ترس آن ها نمی شود.

²⁸They shall no more be a prey to the nations, neither shall the animals of the earth devour them; but they shall dwell securely, and none shall make them afraid.

²⁸برای شان محصول و غلۀ فراوان می دهم تا دیگر از قحطی و گرسنگی تلف نشوند و پیش اقوام بیگانه تحقیر و شرمنده نگردند.

²⁹I will raise up to them a plantation for renown, and they shall be no more consumed with famine in the land, neither bear the shame of the nations any more.

²⁹آنگاه می دانند که من خداوند، خدای شان، با آن ها هستم و آن ها، یعنی بنی اسرائیل، قوم برگزیدۀ من هستند. من، خداوند متعال، این را گفته ام.شما گوسفندان چراگاه من هستید و من خدای شما هستم.» خداوند متعال چنین می فرماید.

³⁰They shall know that I, Yahweh, their God am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord Yahweh.

³⁰شما گوسفندان چراگاه من هستید و من خدای شما هستم.» خداوند متعال چنین می فرماید.

³¹You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, says the Lord Yahweh.
